Howardhughes112324Great Show, Beatles knowledge is goodI grew up at a really great age, 12, when The Beatles hit. I can play all of their songs on guitar and they were great teachers for song structure, lyrics, and learning guitar by ear. Recently I listened to Mitch solo and his guest was talking about The Beatles solo years and of course, John and Paul were the main subject, with Richy and George on the back burner. I loved John and Paul’s talent but George really surprised me after the split. Lennons voice was waning even then and after Flaming Pie, Paul was not something I’d buy blindly. George however musically and emotionally blossomed. I was surprised at the lack of attention to George. Nothing said about the Traveling Wilburys,( basically George’s idea, his molding of Badfinger, how his sound permeated Badge, and why Badfinger sounded like The Beatles. Badge, ( his work with Eric Clapton, has George’s soundscape, he was shaping a lot of Richy’s solo stuff, his work with Jeff Lynne,( which also started Tom Petty’s collaboration and friendship which brought Petty to Mo Ostin(sp?)). It was George who was the third songwriter in The Beatles and his contribution to the intro to And I Love Her, and countless others. The Let It Be,(whatever) conversation with John and Paul in Abbey Roads canteen about George’s maturation as a songwriter. I may be mistaken but I think George had the last hit with traditional radio, and he was so important to The Beatles. None of this was mentioned. There’s more, but this is running long. Still one of the best Beatles podcasts out there. Mitch did have a lot of great points during the podcast btw, I’m fascinated by the story of this very special band. One more thing, (lol), nothing mentioned about their amazing work ethic, partially due to ego, partially due to Prelly’s, then jazz cigarettes, and finally just plain talent. Favorite album/song? What day is it? Changes all the time. Great work fellas!!!

Clark KauffmanGood topics but show needs structureTwenty-five minutes into a podcast on collecting and the hosts are still just debating the definition of collecting. The hosts are knowledgeable and the topics are interesting, but the discussions are always rambling, unfocused and repetitive. The hosts just need to sit down and outline the show in advance before hitting the record button.

tomtombearclubThank youFor that Giles Martin exclusive. Honored to listen to it

RJPlumer3,2,1 WhineA fun and knowledgeable podcast about The Beatles. The one I just listened to was about the recent special 3,2,1 McCartney. It was interesting and makes me want to rewatch it again. It was a bit redundant whining about McCartney’s canned responses. Seriously, the guy(Paul) has been answering much the same questions since the 60’s, you’d get repetitive too. Secondly there are alway new Beatle fans every year and not everyone is a born Beatle expert with every Mark Lewisohn book memorized. What may seem repetitive to one person is new information to someone just discovering the Fab Four. It was the only reason I gave it 4/5. A fun podcast otherwise.
-
perfumed_chainNot goodI’m 25 minutes into the McCartney III episode and these guys are just talking in circles. They’re unable to identify a topic let alone stick to one. And all the forced “humor” by such unfunny people. Don’t waste your time. Rob seems alright but the other two are just dumb and Mitch (the more I’ll-informed of the three) is more than a little abrasive.

twozillasJoin three friends and hang out.I’ve been a F4F4A fan now for a few years. Part of the fun of listening in on these three “Beatle Buddies” is their passion for all things Fab Four. They are knowledgeable, but don’t come off as music snobs. It’s like hanging with your best friends instead of being fed boring facts. They are followed by Beatles fanatics like myself, but don’t talk down to novice fans. Check ‘em out!

Michigan Reviewer 2.It's OKDecent info. Good discussion. In the time taken to listen to this podcast a person could learn much more from some of the great sites out there. Not a bad podcast...not great. It's actually getting worse as time goes on. This is a podcast who thinks it is more about them than the subject.

SpongeBobbyHil589Beatles infomerciaseemingly intersting topics pertaining to the Beatles. Only the converstations quickly dissolves into the hosts trying to one up each other on Beatles' trivia by correcting an earlier comment. These arguments/asides often derail the topic and the conversations meander to some tangent point. The hosts will try to take an argumentative side only to contradict themselves minutes later. I would suggest that they create an outline of the topcs they want to discuss, so 20 minutes of the show the listener doesn't have to hear them say, "will be discussing that topic later." That or edit out those bits. introduce topic, give context, history, then hosts' general opinions. Generally the attiude of the hosts is snooty. half beatles infomercia, buy latest beatles product and half host competing on who's the most pretintious beatles snob.
-
finfan64Three Wise MenThree very knowledgeable (know it all?) Beatle fan guys who do a great job in producing a lot of content, selecting good topics and talking them to death. As with many narrowly focused podcasts, it’s like sports talk radio where the fanboys know better than the pros about what pitch to throw or play to call. The vibe is a 1978 Long Island middle school cafeteria with the boys talking over (and over) that weekend’s TV lineup. It’s the table that no girl will go near.
-
PunkoMusicExcellent and fun!!This is a great, fun podcast if you’re a Beatles fanatic. These guys know their Beatles history and really enjoy sharing their knowledge and love of this amazing group
-
CIAFTOGLots of FunA very enjoyable listen but at times the hosts get a wee bit sidetracked. Relatively engaging but at times it sounds a bit like guys telling dad jokes. That said they are consistent and tackle some great subjects.
-
dpt1213Fun to listen tooThere is a lot of noise with to many voices at the same time and not much real content but it is a fun listen.
-

micksmittyA magical listening tourBEATLES fans are gonna want to listen to this informative, fun, and thoughtful podcast. The hosts really know there stuff. Sometimes special guests, such as authors, people who've worked with the Beatles, and much, much, more. Do give it a listen.Highly recommend!
-
Chris McKenzieFewer digressions, please!I'd give this show five stars if they would edit it down. Precious minutes of time are spent going off on silly tangents and laughing at their own wit. Yes, I know fans like humor, but a little goes a VERY long way. But these guys know their onions about the Beatles. (Cheese and Onions??) And the topics are almost always interesting, although sometimes too much time is spent on an album or project. We really don't need two hours worth of talk about a forty-minute record. Now, if you get rid of all the jokes, that'll boil it down to 1 1/2 hours or so....
-
ebvetJones for RingoI think these guys love Ringo too much...Long winded about how great he is. He was their drummer, and?
-
pissssss.Don't stop!!! More pleaseeKeep up the great work gentlemen. I love the podcast, i love not only your reviews and analysis', but also the discussions and theorizing that you guys do. It's great to listen to for me this summer as i manually water my lawn back to life and this podcast makes me patient enough to do so. I'd love to hear you guys do a discussion on the beatles later lives and relationships, being the 90's until present day. That's a beatles' subject that i haven't seen gone into depth enough. I hope my subscription and following gives you views and hits etc. ✌🏼️ God bless

klubyorI want to like this podcastI love the beatles and love the trivia surrounding the band. Some of the podcasts are, however, a bit longwinded. 48 minutes to talk about “She’s Leaving Home?” They said nothing in 48 minutes that couldn’t have been said in 20 minutes. My recommendation would be to tighten things up a bit. Rather than hypothesizing about what Paul was trying to say, talk about the origin of the song (the newspaper article) and then how it was recorded (with someone other than George Martin doing the string arrangement). This is the stuff that is interesting rather than whether Paul was or was not trying to describe the generation gap.

Dimus16FAB!I am addicted to this podcast - I probably need help. Checking every week - did a new one come out?? Did a new one come out?? It's like podcast crack for Beatle geeks. The guys are a lot of fun to listen. The impression I have always gotten from this podcast - it's like we are just a fly on the wall. These guys would be sitting around some random night doing this anyway - hanging out jawing about Beatles stuff, doing voices, making jokes - they just happen to be recording it. It's not just a thrown together thing with no chemistry - these guys have a genuine rapport that comes through and it makes the show very enjoyable. Just one more thing.... some of their best shows are when they have guests. Definitely check some of those out!
-
Kevin ScheullerAll three of them are brilliant Beatles geeks!Have I told them lately that I love their podcast? I can’t remember…so, to make up for it - if you love (or even like a little) The Beatles, you really owe it to yourself to check out Fab 4 Free 4 All with the fabulous Mitch Axelrod, Rob Leonard, and Tony Traguardo! You REALLY do!
-
SeagullshameThe bestBest Beatles podcast out there, hands down.
-
Everlast BaggerThis Beatles Podcast should be at the Top of the ChartsThe hosts, Tony, Rob, and Mitch, are extremely knowledgeable and entertaining across all aspects of Beatledome. From the music, films, books, history, and trivia, these guys never cease to amaze with both their insights and well researched information. Even if you been a long time fan of everything Beatles, you will learn something new in every podcast. Now sometimes the jokes can get a little corny, but it reflects the fact that these guys have been friends for a long time and it's like listening in on a late night bull session. If you download only one Beatles podcast, this is the one to get.
-
ironrangersDefinitely Good.Great topics and discussion. This is not just the hosts admiring the Beatles and agreeing on every point. There is debate too. Interesting guests often appear. Only criticisms from this reviewer is I don't think some (just some) of the banter, off topic stuff, is as funny as they think it is. Also, one of the hosts seems to keep his nose or mouth very close to a mic throughout the podcast, and there is the sound of breathing throughout if you listen to it while jogging with headphones. This is a podcast of three dedicated, enthusiastic fans of the groups, and theirlove of the group is very apparent.
-
IwantTotellYouWhat a most enjoyable podcastCountless hours I've spent at work listening to these guys dissect and ruminate on one of my all-time favorite subjects; it's terrific! They keep it lively, (incredibly) informative, and downright entertaining through & through. Am very glad I stumbled upon this 'cast. I appreciate your efforts & insights Mitch, Rob, & Tony and hope this sticks around a long time!
-
cheerdownA joyful reminder of what it is like to be a fanIf you are lucky, you will find some fellow fans with whom you can have as much fun as these guys are having. If you find yourself curiously alone in your passion for all things Beatle, then this podcast will be your cure-after only one episode I was hooked as I shook my head in the uncomfortable realization that there are other fans out there who have actually listened to Ringo the 4th in it's entirety. I found myself laughing aloud at all their inner references to such obscurities and Beatle quotes. At last, a group that shares my frustrations such no substantial liner notes to Harrison's Early Takes Volume 1. This is only the tip of the iceberg of the level of detail and analysis that these gentlemen give on their show. Perhaps, what I love the most about this podcast is that it never takes itself too seriously-the spirit of the Rutles is alive and well here. They are unabashed in their fandom and they translate this wonderfully, even effortlessly, in their show. To me, this is better than reading a good Beatle book and I hope one day, these guys will bequeath such a co-written volume that would contain their collective reviews in a set that rivals the Encyclopedia Britannica!
-
MaccaBeGoodA Fab Listen For A Fab Four FanFor fans of the Beatles, both their years together and as separate solo artists this is a must listen! Mitch, Rob and Tony are well versed in Beatles history and have a wealth of opinions to share regarding a variety of Fab-related topics. Each episode dives into a unique and entertaining topic from album reviews to guest interviews; from Beatle collecting to Beatle listening. These shows are highly recommended, or as the used to say, "A splendid time was guaranteed for all"!
-
friarparkThe best......Beatle podcast out there. It's the podcast I look forward to the most each week. Listen to this podcast...
-
HokeyboyIf you're remotely into The Beatles, LISTEN IMMEDIATELY!These guys are better than fruit cup. Their knowledge of the Fab Four is as vast as their freewheeling rapport is ridiculously entertaining. Listen now! Do it... for the pants.
-
AppleGUII'm hooked! These guys are on to something. Very addictive historical review on The Beatles. We already love the music, but getting their passionate take and insight on one of the most influential bands on the planet, simply inspires. Knowing the history, getting the back story puts us right there. Love it! These guys should create a network that is a part of a larger related network that focuses on this very example of quality and excellence in music history. Imagine if they curated other like minded people to host a podcast on The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan. This network could be the 60 minutes of MTV. The TWiT Network is a good model to follow by, and they are doing pretty well. I think they are generating close to 10 million a year in revenue. Not bad for a Podcast network talking about their passions. Above all else, passion is most definitely infectious. Good Job! Well Done! Continue On!

Oscar Wilde IIBest Beatles ShowThe thing that sets this show apart from the others is the quality of the hosts. They possess a deep knowledge of all things Beatle, and most importantly, a respect for their guests, each other, and their audience.
-
Bada Bing CrosbyFabtastic! These guys know really their Beatles -- The songs, the personas, the history, the lore. It's fast moving and mandatory listen for any true Beatle geek (you'll be yelling at your computer/phone trying to chime in too). Each Free4All-er has a distinct personality - Curmudgeon Mitch, Animated Tony, Zen Master Rob. They're passionate and insightful and seem like all around good guys. A problem, however, could be their attempts at humor. When it's organic to the conversation, it's fine; when they start riffing for riffing sake it either comes off like small market drive-time radio (at best) or the most annoying improv troupe in history (at worst). That said, it's still a top notch listening experience and HIGHLY recommended. Here, you can actually hear a bunch of learned Beatlemaniacs spend a good hour plus examining some obscure Ringo album -- God Bless The Internet!
-
mrsoul1Great PodcastReally interesting Beatles talk. Best one I have found concerning The Beatles. All serious Beatle fans should check it out. These guys are quite knowledgable, know their Beatle facts and history. Bravo!
-
fergojisanExcellent ShowIf you're a Beatles fan, you need to be listening to this show. All three hosts are extremely knowledgeable and reverent Beatles fans, but are not afraid of being critical when it is necessary. Every aspect of Beatles fandom is covered, so if you have a favorite song, album, book, or movie, you can be sure that it has been or will be covered bon this amazing podcast.

Wink55B-Tards D-liteLook forward to hearing the show always. Lots of fun and mostly interesting topics. Great for the Beatle nerd out there. Sometimes a little to nit picky for me but overall a very good listen.
-

jack dylanFAB!Not only is this the best talk show on the Beatles, it's the best talk show on music in general! These guys know their stuff, and spread their Beatle knowledge in a very fun way. I recommend this podcast to every Beatle fan, as well as any music fan that likes serious, but fun analysis of rock music.
-
Scattered FrogIf you like the Beatles, you NEED this podcast..I'm always excited when the new Fab 4 Free 4 All comes out, even when they discuss a topic I couldn't give two shkwats about. The guys are always educational, and even more often hilarious -- sometimes unintentionally. :) My already-miserable crosstown commute on public transit, which often involves three or more vehicles (no kidding), would be much worse without this aural gold. Plus, it helps that Mitch, Rob, and Tony are really, really nice guys. I guess one way to put it…if you enjoyed Beatley Incorrect at Beatlefest, you'll seriously love Fab 4 Free 4 All.
-
luvmaccaBest show about BeatlesYou cannot express in words how great this show is. I highly recommend for all Beatle fans. They do their homework and their opinions are FABulous!!?. It is a must have podcast for Beatle fans!! !! Thanks for a great show

winonapattInformative and, well, Fab!A great Beatles-related podcast featuring three of the finest Beatles minds out there - it's always fun to listen to and I learn an awful lot about the Beatles and related miscellanea. Best of all, it's free!
-
thanoss99Only podcast I listen to regularlyI've tried many podcasts but this is the only one I stick with (even going back to their previous life as the Fab Fourum). If you live The Beatles you OWE it to yourself to listen. I consider myself really knowledgeable but every new episode it seems I learn something new. And episodes can really bring a new spin on old and jaded topics, making them fresh again! I really love this show!
-
Bogue Herb LivesAddictiveAny Beatle fan owes it to themselves to listen to the F4F4A podcast. Always informative and fun, these guys are Beatle geeks in the best sense and have a great rapport with each other. If you care to know the difference between the mixes of the US and UK versions of "She's A Woman" or just what was going on in 1970 during the "Let It Be", "Sentimental Journey" and "McCartney" release dates, and enjoy a bit of 60s and 70s pop references (Chew Bops, Rutles, Monkees) thrown in with your Beatle talk, this is your show. F4F4A also have a good community presence on Facebook. Gear.
-
green ovationBest Beatles Podcast... Period! These guys have fun debating various Beatles topics, most notably album reviews, but other topics as well. The thing is... I've been a Beatles fan for over 30 years, I have every recording... but it seems I always seem to learn something new. A very entertaining listen!!!
-
trent 1960The bestThese guy's are great. A must listen to podcast for any and every Beatles fan. I look forward to each new episode. If I could I would give them 6 stars
-
big_oaf2There's no reason these guys should know so much about the BeatlesSeriously, there's no reason anyone should know as much about anything as they know about the Beatles. Track lengths etc.
