Would be better if occassionally they had something positive to say. I gave it abput a year but mow had enough of these “fans” opinions.

    Excellent Beatles Podcast
I’ve listened to every show. You guys are hysterical as well as very well informed. I truly look forward to each show. In fact they are so good I’ve begun listening to their non Beatles you tube channel. I just love their insights. Thank you!!

    My Favorite!
I love this podcast! When a new shows up I clear my list and put this one first. Dave and Chris are like old friends in my head😁. Chris makes me laugh, and that’s saying something. If you want to listen to a podcast that is informative about the Beatles (and sometimes other things), and enjoy listening to 2 wild and crazy guys, this is for you….and me!

    Too irreverent
Chris and Dave were at first fresh faced and effervescent, now they’ve just irreverent, dismissive and laugh incessantly at each other all the while not offering much insightful conversation. Too bad, I thought they had a lot of promise at first. Now, I just can’t listen any longer.

    I’m always learning!
I love Dave and Chris. I’ve always liked the Beatles as an ensemble, but I’ve learned so much about the members individually and especially their solo careers from this podcast. Every episode teaches me something new while simultaneously making me laugh!

There are much better out there.....
These two guys are DRY. Not much personality. (Im not looking for Wolfman Jack, but come on.) They laugh at each other alot, even when something said wasnt meant to be funny. Like another review stated......their knowledge is broad but shallow. Its entry level podcasting even though (apparently) theyve been doing this pne for years. They never seem prepared. Dont know how many times theyve said "OK, how do you want to do this one?" There are much better, deep, more informative and authoritative podcasts out there. I finally deleted this one from my downloads.

    Perhaps my favorite Beatles podcast
The combination of extensive knowledge, fun topics, and humor may make this one my favorite Beatles podcast of them all.

    What’s so funny?
Two stoner Beatle fans whose knowledge of the subject is broad but shallow. They choose good topics but are completely devoid of broadcasting skill. They need to edit out their incessant laughter as they crack themselves, and each other, up.... but assuredly no one else. Party on dudes

    Fantastic Podcast..Yeah Yeah Yeah!
As a huge (boarderline obsessed maybe?) Beatles fan, this podcast is definetly worth a listen. While I haven't heard every episode, what I have heard I do like. While some of the comments about some aspects and songs I may disagree with, I think it's good to see different points of view and opinions on some points. Overall a great podcast.

    Favorite Beatle Podcast
It's not too long, it's not too short. It's not too serious, yet in depth. Love the humor too. I frequently laugh out loud. They play cover songs I would have never heard. I hope Ringo keeps making albums just to hear you guys review them.

Listen to the music playing in your head
This is a fantastic podcast if one is interested in the Beatles (as an ensemble and as solo artists) and wants to learn more about their music. The rapport between Chris and Dave is excellent, and the sound quality of podcast (musical examples and commentary) is superb. I truly appreciate their use of musical examples to support the commentary. This is helpful because then the listener does not need to solely rely on his or her memory; and if the listener is unfamiliar with the specific song being discussed, he or she is not lost until the commentary shifts to a different topic. Furthermore, to further aid the listener, the hosts will, at times, make music by humming a few notes or a phrase of a song. These guys truly love the music of the Beatles!

    Love the podcast
These guys are great. I've been listening to their podcast for a few months now, and they have helped me enjoy the Beatles in a whole new way. It's funny, interesting, and educational. Thumbs way up!

    Great Podcast
My son and I listen to every episode. He is 15 and I am 45. The hosts are funny and very knowlegeable about music and the best band ever. I agree with the hosts 99% of the time. Great topics!!!

This podcast is a MUST for Beatles fans!
Dave and Chris do a fantastic job with this podcast. It's entertaining, informative, insightful and engaging. I've learned a lot about the Beatles by listening to their episodes. I highly recommend it to everyone who's interested in the Beatles!

    A must for Beatles Fans
These guys are great. Funny, interesting, and they know their music. They cover a wide range of topics, (definitely check out their Covers episode, and review of Help!) and they dive into whatever they're talking about. It feels like nerding out with some fellow Beatle fans and music lovers. Even when you disagree on occasion, it's a good time. Just in time for 50th anniversary stuff, this is definitely a podcast for older fans or people (like me) rediscovering what makes those four guys the best band that's been.

All You Need Is Love (and this podcast)
This is a very enjoyable podcast, and I wouldn't want the guys to agree on everything. I just wish the sound quality was better, sounds a little hollow. Any way to get to the archives episodes 1-19?

    What's So Funny?
It's okay–not good, not terrible. It's worth a listen while driving to work, but not engaging enough to be a regular thing. They have some provocative topics and are true Beatle nuts, but it's painfully obvious that they are BAB ("born after break-up") fans because of their lack of familiarity with the cultural context of certain songs and events. However, I do enjoy many of their insights (especially Dave's), but I find Chris so over-the-top annoying that I can only listen when I'm in a good mood. You could play a drinking game with the number of times he uses the word "interesting" during an episode (usually pronouncing it "innaresting"). But what's worse is how much time they spend laughing at non-funny things. Chris is one of those comedians who thinks he's hilarious just because he's making fun of something. As The Beatles would say, he just "takes the Mickey," but he rarely says anything that's actually clever. It's a shame, too. This podcast could be very good if they got a little more professional. With just a bit more research and either less laughing or more wit, they would be very listenable.

    Excellent Beatles podcast
Engaging Beatles topics by two engaging hosts.

    Enjoyable but lacking
I enjoy listening to this podcast, although at times it seems more about the 2 hosts than it is about the music. & I often disagree with their opinions . . Still, it's fun to listen to.
  • MrCobraLaserface
    Not very good
Poorly researched....The hosts often get their facts wrong and/or confused. I listened to about three episodes and gave up.

    These two are Beatles' fans??
This podcast TRIES to be entertaining, but it's nothing more than 2 amateurs cracking each other up. I respect everyone's opinion, but they seem to trash more songs than like them. One of them is a professor of music theory? I haven't heard one practical analysis of a song. And he owns a sitar?? Every Indian-influenced song gets trashed. If it wasn't for these songs a lot of the Western world would not have turned on to world music. And the other guy calls himself a "comedic actor"? Not funny at all. I'm not saying every Beatles song is top notch, but even the "duds" have some value. I came across this podcast looking for more Beatles' podcasts. I'm sorry I gave this one a chance. The sound quality is just as bad, if not worse, than their attempt to give their opinions. An 8-year old kid could make a better sounding podcast than this one! It doesn't take much. If you like the sound of an obnoxious, immature sounding podcast, you found the perfect one! Take it from a real Beatles fan, don't waste your time!

Great musical insights and funny to boot
Dave and Chris bring some great insights to Beatles music whether it's from their solo career or as the Fab Four. They obviously know The Beatles and music in general. I've gone back and listened to a bunch of tracks after hearing their commentary. On top of that, they have great chemistry and are constantly cracking each other up. A great show and takes me back!
