scooters best lifeWomen’s PrisonThank you for brining to light the horrific system of incarceration! From sentencing, prison, to the “made to fail” probation system.
-
JeremycuInsightful, engaging and a delightful sister duo! This podcast is a perfect mix of legal and psychological insight, made even better by the hosts' sweet sister dynamic. Their expertise as an attorney and a psychologist adds depth to every discussion, making it both informative and engaging!

bricks711Everything !!!OMG YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME ❤️❤️🥳🥳
-
DrivindownthehighwaySeem like great peopleI really want to like this podcast more than I do. I keep trying different episodes. The attorney is so low energy it’s hard to listen to. Sometimes their takes are hard to understand. How does a mental health professional love The Baldwins??
-
AbitaboutmeActually do some researchThis is the laziest podcast. The lawyer sounds like she couldn’t possibly care less and has not in the least detail oriented. The therapist is trying hard to run it along but she doesn’t have much to work with. It’s basically “we love all the defendants” and don’t care about the actual detail or victims”

TT 2point0Great contentI love this podcast. Tess, please quit saying anyhoo…it’s so cringey. Just use a real word.
-
Cyn257753167Do BetterI like this podcast but it could be so much better. The Gabby Pettito episode was annoying to hear 1 host Constantly say "i don't know" or just get things mixed up. If you're going to podcast get your facts together before recording. This happens on other episodes too.

JTangina84Very little psychoanalysis, even less legal analysisFor a show’s apparent draw to be “psych legal” perspectives on today’s popular topics there’s not much *intelligent discussion of either happening on this show. Sure, there’s a few therapy-speak buzz words thrown out here and there or there’s an occasional vague reference to “legal issues” (although that’s a mighty big stretch), these ladies really cannot seem to engage an audience. It’s like these two middle of the road, mundane sisters woke up one day with an idea that their day to day conversations were interesting enough to make a podcast - its really not. Who will like this pod? Friends and family of these women because they know them personally but otherwise, there’s zero draw to their personalities or “professional” perspectives.
-
sazzlebamNeed to get some facts straightI normally love this podcast, however listening to their perspective of the Gabby Petito documentary on Netflix was infuriating. The first being you stated her name as “Gabby Pepito” right out the gate. Also, you both mixed up so many things that were said or clearly stated in the documentary. An example was the photo posted of Gabby’s eye injury that they clearly titled was found on her phone around the time of that reported assault. I’m not trying to write a bashing review, but this particular episode was just not up to your normal standards. I realize you have day jobs, and creating content is exhausting, but I ask that you try to be more accurate.

nitetimelistenerOne of my Favorites!I love both hosts, the balance they provide and their perspectives. It’s the perfect combo, entertaining, insightful and fun to listen to every week!!
-
Deann HillThe Best Sister Wives PodcastI just want to take a moment and say this podcast is the best Sister Wives podcast…..and I listen to ALL of them. The reason it’s the best is because they have great perspective and get down to the basics of each scene. They point out the truth and put into words what we are all thinking but couldn’t quite put into words. I look forward to this every week. Thank you for all the hard work.

JTGHFMIt’s Not Always a SaturdayI’m a stay-at-home parent who has a heck of a lot more “Mondays” than “Saturdays.” This is so rude and short sighted! Also, as a therapist, it blows my mind you don’t consider how mental health issues can also make not working less of a daily holiday. I battle depression, anxiety, and PTSD while a SAHM. It ain’t all Saturdays, honey.
-
artofjulieWow.Hearing a woman, a therapist, put down a stay at home mom saying that every day is a Saturday BECAUSE she’s a stay at home mom so therefore she doesn’t work…I’m so sick of this rhetoric. I’m no fan of Robyn’s by any means, but the judgement went beyond Robyn and the show, and essentially called out every woman who chooses to be a stay at home mom. The attempt to back pedal that judgment when realizing what you just said didn’t help at all. I’m not a stay at home mom because quite frankly that’s HARDER, it’s why Janelle wanted nothing to do with it and left it all for Christine. What’s also frustrating on a smaller note is that I hate having to defend Robyn 🤦🏻♀️ but, wow, that woman can’t even blink without being ridiculed with such vitriol. I thought a therapist would consider context and nuance but the lawyer is the only one doing that.

jeannie_waitressInteresting PodcastA unique view. Thank you. This pod and it’s host’s have come a long way. I’m impressed. I really enjoy it. 5 stars!

NinaBYUTrad Wife LifeHannah Neelemen, aka Ballerina Farms, is laughing all the way to the bank. I know her family in Utah and from what I have observed, she is truly happy and thriving (This coming from a divorced, Liberal, Mormon ex-wife). According to Nara Smith, her content is satire. I find it humorous and a spoof on the ‘Trad Wife’ culture. I could not get through an entire episode. I wish I could as I love all things ‘Sister Wives’. And yes, I voted Harris/Walz 2025 lest you think I’m a Conservative wannabe trad wife.
-
Kate Ellis2Great perspectivesLove the show, love their perspectives on pop culture. Intelligent and witty duo!
-
Tbetta91Thank you!I wholeheartedly appreciate the entertainment of this podcast. The SW content is how I found myself here, but I stayed for the creators. The way you explain things in a professional way, giving your opinion and explaining that it being your opinion doesn’t make it gospel is perfection. The TradWife episode was so real. Specifically pointing out that being a SAHM or having a more “traditional” relationship isn’t inherently bad, it’s the controlling aspect and the loss of agency that’s bad was such an important distinction to make. I saw some reviews who raged against this episode and I’m not sure they listened to the whole thing or listened to what they actually said. Anyway. Keep on keeping on, much love!

AngbiletReality in all its glory!Tess and Brooke cover Sister Wives reality show and all things pop culture, which is another type of reality. They also talk about things happening in their lives and the world around us. Rolls, they are Gen Xers!
-
BerryFairGreat podcasts and reviews of showI love the perspectives shared in this show
-
cottencandycamperOne of my favorites!I have been listening for over a year and love the insight and chemistry these hosts have. If you want some laughs but also smart takes on our favorite shows and topics this is the place to be!!
-
Melismeg3499I like the sister dynamicHaving 2 sisters myself, I love the dynamic between the two.

jaysteele671Five starts but some conservative criticism. In general I love the podcast and ignore the liberal politics that get thrown in but the latest episode just made me grit my teeth. As someone who many would on the surface call a “trad” wife I took offense to the broad definition of us as being controlled by our husbands and turning back women’s rights. MY CHOICE to stay home with my kids and homeschooling was a decision made by my husband and me and I really enjoy it and find it extremely rewarding. I worked in a professional medical field for 10 years prior and have a college degree. You need to remember that feminism should be supporting women in what they WANT to do. So if that’s work great if that’s staying home, great. If that’s homesteading great! As a SATM I have the privilege to stay home that many do not because of finances. And yet I am often liked down upon for not being a member of the workforce. A true feminist would be supporting of “trad” wife and the modern working women.
-
coloradobluGreat PodcastEntertaining, down to earth, intelligent. Love their dynamic dialog and willingness to respectfully disagree.
-
BorundaaEverything I ever wantedLove listening to you guys talk about everything I think about all day in my head! I laugh out loud often and Tess is a real one.
-
LarissapaigeGets me through the weekI wish this podcast was daily. I enjoy listening to Tess and Brooke. The trad wife episode has been one of my top 5 favorite episodes outside of the sister wife recap. Keep up the great work!
-
Opie3955 StarsLove this show! The sister wives coverage is insightful and entertaining! I love the deep dives on side topics.
-
smr2226ExcellentI thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. I started listening for Sister Wives content but have since started listening to all the others as well. I’m a mom, therapist and feminist so there are a lot of similarities in how we see the world. It’s nice to have a legal perspective and insight on things too. Very good podcast and I always look forward to new episodes.
-
CLH1208EnjoyableI enjoy Tess and Brooke, especially the Sister Wives episodes! My one suggestion, and this is probably out of their control, is try to get rid of the diet culture ads. As a someone in recovery for anorexia, I hate when these come up and for some reason this is the only podcast that I listen to where they do. Other than that, great show!
-
Gigi1968Great recapsI really enjoy this podcast. Very informative especially the podcasts on shows from Netflix that I wouldn't have known about.
-
Jamme2010New Favorite!I don’t know how I found Tess and Brooke, Psych Legal Pop was probably suggested from one of my true crime podcasts and I am here for it!!!! Would love to hear a collab with my other favorites Alaina and Ash over at Morbid!! 10/10 recommend!!
-
SHELjuly77The funniest sistersLove these two- my favorite podcast to listen to on my commute to and from work - smart and funny takes on current events and murder documentaries, also sister wives- I feel like I’m in the room with my own sister listening to them chat
-
tulipsonyouLittle DetailsI really enjoy listening to your SW recaps however, please please try and pay a little more attention to details. You often get situations wrong locations of conversation or who’s in the scene and it makes me feel like you’re really not paying attention to the show to recap accurately and I end up screaming to you both no they were here or saying this! But truly enjoy your perspective just a little request. 🙂
-
alexaturnoff!Wow! Learned so much!Last week’s episode was so fantastic I had to take the time and figure out how to write a review! 🥴 Melanie and Cory were so enlightening about the church and how it connects to the Browns. Their lived experiences brought so much knowledge to the table. Thank you to them for sharing with us.
-
tiffany2610Justifying men’s poor behaviorThe Scott Peterson episode was bad, but the bending over backwards to defend Elvis like he didn’t groom Priscilla… Woof. Grown men should not be “best friends” with teenage girls and then move them in and impregnate them as soon as they turn 18
-
ksuddenFriends In My PocketLove listening to Tess and Brooke. I wish the audio was better quality as it can be slightly difficult to hear clear then muffled dialogue, but still enjoyable.
-
sissylove90Thought ProvokingLove the different perspectives these smart, engaging sisters bring to the podcast! I especially enjoy hearing about the legalities that might influence Sister Wives and other shows. Funny and insightful, would def recommend!
-
JanickisLove the viewpointsThe two viewpoints based on the sisters’ backgrounds, it makes it more interesting . They also do well on paying attention to details and playing off one another, giving us great insights
-
turtllgurllSmart sistersI usually listen to comedy podcasts about my favorite shows, but this legal/psych perspective is fascinating. I love the relationship between these two very smart women, and enjoy their takes!
-
TrashMom99Wonderful PodcastI really enjoy this podcast! Every episode is entertaining and engaging! I love it all!
-
Schelin1964Perfect DuoBrining their backgrounds together for TV laughter is the best!!
-
Kat682Dogs?!I tuned in to listen to Love is Blind and I’m sure the show is fine, but I can’t sit and listen to dogs barking and whatever else was going on in the background. Occasionally maybe, but after a couple minutes I can’t listen to that anymore unfortunately.
-
k8inDCSmart Perspective! These women are sharp and well-rounded. I look forward to listening to their perspective on the dysfunctional but lovable Brown family. I especially appreciate their pluralistic viewpoints—making space for those who believe differently than you. Love!
-
lace1184Eye rollStick to the recaps. We don’t need your ignorant history and medical lessons. We all have opinions and the right to them, but I tune in to discuss the Browns and not politics.
-
Jackson23456Criminally DumbHow could a therapist not have heard of the McMartin preschool trial? These 2 are the dumbest people whoever tripped over success I’ve ever heard of. Unreal.
-
SAV 74Dogs barkingCould not listen-first love is blind episode- too distracted by the background noise.
-
LizLovesPodcastsGreat duoI really enjoy listening to these fabulous sisters. They lend unique perspectives to one of my guilty pleasure reality shows as well as topical documentaries. Thank you, ladies, for your blend of thoughtful and hilarious commentary.
-
FrankthepeaA few suggestions1. Stop saying everyone is on ozempic. People can fluctuate in weight for many reasons. It’s odd to assume that they are all taking ozempic. You say no judgement, but that seems very judgy. 2. Use your legal and psych expertise more- it would offer a unique perspective- you are missing out on that
-
AmberleyOliverOverall, a good podcastOverall, I really enjoy the podcast and find it to be an easy and engaging listen. However, I found the latest episode (Season 19, Episode 3 of Sisterwives) a bit challenging. It felt more judgmental than usual, and the political comparison they made didn’t quite make sense in the context. I think a more open-minded approach would have made the discussion more balanced and enjoyable. That said, I still appreciate their work and look forward to future episodes!

dwillsmckdownuSister wives: Excellent ReviewThanks for a thorough review of the show. I really enjoy your prospective. I do not always agree however it does cause me to think about it in another way. I am boycotting the show as I thinking it needs to come off. However, I can not stopping plugging into the train wreak of their lives. You guys provide me with an outlet for the show … so thanks.
