This is a good podcast that keeps me entertained. However, it’s irritating that Amanda has to make everything about herself. She can’t let Jodie have 30 seconds to talk about anything without interrupting or talking over or changing the subject back to her. I love hearing what Jodie has to say and I find her interesting and hilarious. Amanda can’t stand it. I’m sick of the singing, constant talk about her period, complaining about a show and “let’s just get this over with” and acting like she’d rather be doing anything else. Quit talking to your dogs and quit being a one-upper. I don’t know how Jodie is so gracious and kind during all this. Amanda is so lucky to have Jodie as her cohost. Amanda is at her best when she relaxes and listens and genuinely laughs when Jodie says something funny. More of that please!

My gosh, they are really bad. Not even sure what they are talking about. Part time job I guess. They talk over each other, not a fan.

Amanda and Jodie think they’re being funny, but really that are over-the-top hateful. They’ll mock your appearance, your clothes, your speech impediment, your child’s speech impediment. They’ll mock the most innocent and harmless things possible. The extreme judgement and snobbery from them is ridiculous. I listen to podcasts for enjoyment, and I don’t enjoy listening to them punch down and call other women “c**ts”.

Love the show. Just some feedback: Amanda, in the latest episode (1/27), you brought up being on your period 7 times and I’m only 18 minutes in. It’s a bit much. We get it, you’re on your period. Move on.

Worst audio I’ve ever heard. These are two women I would never be friends with.

I used to love this podcast but the last few months I’ve felt they’ve gotten increasingly meaner and almost cruel in their judgements. Constantly punching down, making fun of how people look; it’s clear they think they’re better than everyone else. Jodie comes across as a super judgmental snob and Amanda seems manic. They both talk over each other and they talk over the audio. I won’t be listening anymore.

Amanda is so egotistical; if she isn’t the number one expert on a topic she won’t even pretend to be interested (e.g. Jodie tried to talk about Squid Games and Amanda openly said she was looking at comments about other topics while Jodie was talking, then quickly changed the subject back to her). It’s so rude and I don’t know how Jodie has dealt with Amanda’s personality getting worse by the episode.

They hate Meri because they’re as awful as Kody describes Meri to be. One star because they’re occasionally funny. Also, they make comments about Meri’s appearance every episode. It’s gross.

My fave podcasting duo.

Boot Lamp!

I normally like this pod cast. They can be funny and do an in depth coverage of Sister Wives. What I don’t like is the constant bullying and going after children. Their contempt for Kody and Robyn’s youngest kids is super gross and cringe. Jodi’s thing with assuming they are spoiled brats is weird. You can tell she has boomer views in raising kids and perhaps the youngest child does need more attention and isn’t getting what she needs from her parents emotionally? Or probably not, just a spoiled brat that needs to be more disciplined I am sure 🙄.

I don’t know if it’s worse because I listen with headphones, but they often yell or make loud “complaining” noises that are WAY too loud in the mic and I stop listening after it happens twice in an episode.

You keep me entertained

I dare you not to enjoy the banter that comes from two people who are genuine friends, obsessing over trash tv and pop culture. It’s a must listen for me.

Five stars for everything, just the audio seems very uneven a lot of the time.

At the explanation of, and then the *extensive* discourse about, the smartie party. I have only listened to a few episodes since finding this show the other day, and I’ve snickered out loud a lot, but the smartie party segment took me all the way out

But can’t stand Amanda’s screechy voice and the way she talks over Jody. Jody go out n your own!

I love this podcast and the other podcast girl dinner. I love Browntown and everything about it and how they break down reality TV. Makes you feel like you’re sitting in the room with all your besties having your own watch party. at the beginning they give recommendations of what they’re watching and if you’re ever at a shortage for something to watch any one of the recommendations are home run. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

These two make me cackle and cry with their honesty and trash talking. I LOVE IT!! Please continue speaking how you feel about people. We cannot tip toe around everything and everyone. Also, Ladies can we really hear more of the Blazer Leah and her new man stories. Now we have Girl Dinner….. I enjoyed the episode

Came over from SSW to give them another chance (after not liking them as guests/thinking it was an off day or bad cut). I find the hosts mean-spirited and don’t think they act in good faith. To put in simply: They punch down. I had to turn the volume up and down several times, and it sounds like the mic is being yelled and screamed into. Be careful if listening with headphones.

Your “funny” impressions make casual listening difficult. Sometimes you are giving Meri & Just Jen vibes.

I really like this podcast, but Amanda‘s mic is always blasting in my ear and she sounds extremely harsh and grating. I really think it’s just that her mic volume is too loud - either that or she needs to back away from the mic a little bit. But otherwise really fun podcast to listen to.

These 2 are definitely my people! Love the Sister Wives content especially, but I’m in for ALL of it. They make me laugh so much.

I just almost crashed my car listening to this. When Jody said she’d rather die than wake up to her ghost singing to her, and Amanda sang “Make new friends,” I lost it. Not long after, the singing Owen impressions started 🤣🤣 It’s been 4 hours, and I have not recovered. Love you guys!!!

Chemistry is the word. You can’t take it and they have it. The best podcasts to my taste are like checking in with friends, and that’s what this is for me.

Since around 2017, I've tuned in to Jodie's content, discovered Amanda through Jodie's previous show (RealiTV), and been an avid listener of WLTHE from the very start. It's consistently hilarious and never fails to brighten my day. Both Jodie and Amanda bring their individual humor, and together, they elevate it to another level. Having followed Sister Wives from the beginning, I can confidently say that no other podcast critiques it with the same wit. In 2022, during a challenging period of deep depression, I often laid in bed listening to podcasts, with WLTHE and their Patreon shows becoming my go-to comfort listens. In short, this show holds a special place in my heart and is unquestionably worth checking out!

I very much enjoy listening but sometimes Amanda takes a lot of deep breaths and it kind of drives me crazy🫤 sorry maybe you don’t notice but it’s kind of annoying.

Weird commentary about Jada Pinkent Smith (maybe warranted) which immediately divulged into a criticism of Meghan Markle. There is only one thing these two have in common that I am aware of and it was offensive that they felt the need to link the two, when they clearly have nothing to do with one another.

Funny ladies. Is anyone watching SW along with them? I haven’t enjoyed hearing them watch together and can’t imagine many others are watching the show at the same time they are given the constant pausing. Would be better for them to recap after watching on their own time.

I really do enjoy this podcast, and try to listen every week, as time allows. I enjoy the hosts’ chemistry and I agree with them on most things. As someone who has a daughter with a lisp, and an aunt who had a lisp, I don’t enjoy when they make fun of Maddie’s voice. My daughter was in speech therapy for years, and my aunt had ST services as well, but the lido did not go away. There’s joking and then there’s just mean and insensitive. They sometimes cross over to the latter.

You’re not funny.

I subscribe to the Patreon which is fun to listen to. The only drawback is the nonstop references to “Justine” who is not associated with the show to my knowledge beyond friendship. It can be a bit much.

You don’t support all women but you make sense in who you choose to support.

Feels like I’m listening to my friends talk about reality tv. I love it. I love when a podcast can recognize the absurdity of some of these shows and their takes are hilarious. The fart noise you make when talking about these crazy people we love to hate is especially hilarious on the Sister Wives recaps…makes me LOL. Don’t change a thing, you ladies are hilarious and rock. This has become a podcast I sincerely look forward to.
