    Being on the go, bouncing from meeting to meeting makes it difficult to fit in learning and keeping your sales leadership chops fresh. However, we do sit in traffic, take showers and exercise.     Phenomenal on the ear and the mind
    Both hosts are great, they have a style and swagger that I enjoy. The shows guest speaks are a broad collection of characters which makes for some interesting, unique, and sometimes corky rhetoric. There’s always great perspective, correlations back to fundamentals and new topics or takes to learn while listening to show. I highly recommend.

    There’s a lot of podcasts out there that focus on tactical tips for winning deals that all serve their purpose. Revenue Builders is different. As an young individual contributor looking to climb the corporate ladder (long way to go), Kaplan and McMahon conversations with leaders around topics / decision making frameworks offer insight I otherwise would not have gotten. If I’m lucky, I will get to use them in 10-15 years. However, it helps me get inside the mindset of those executives in selling to TODAY so that I may shorten that learning curve. Hopefully when I get to that position I can draw on the advice given here!

I have been following John McMahon and his successful career for a long time. Learn from the people who have done it successfully right? With every single episode I walk away with something that makes me want to think differently and do better. Learning is a journey, who doesn’t want to improve in some way everyday, I know I do. Even after leading teams for over 20 years, there is always something new to learn, be reminded of or be inspired by. Today I actually began with references (pre-interview) for someone who looked like a promising candidate, using your “back-channel” techniques.
