I just couldn’t find a satisfactory Odd Couple podcast to suit all my Odd Couple podcast needs…until now! A few years late to the party but catching up. Enjoying the recaps filled with copious clips of episode highlights, mixed with Odd Couple backstories and the deep-dives into episode topics. Five Murrays for the hosts.

If you are a fan of The Odd Couple, this show is heaven. Very knowledgeable guys who love obviously love the show. Many interesting tidbits. The most ardent fans will appreciate this podcast and find something that you didn't know before. Very cool people to converse with via email.

The hosts do an incredible job of detailing all of the shows numerous amazing moments. Favorite show growing up. Grew up watching the reruns every night. The chemistry between Jack and Tony is unparalleled!! Still quote all the lines today! Thank you for taking the time to put this together on your podcast!

The Odd Couple is one of those shows that I call “comfortable”. I don’t have to actually watch it. I know it so well that I just need to listen. These guys make it even better by sharing their knowledge & the research they share. And, being a Manhattanite all my life as they are just adds to the comfort level. I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve spent with them in the background of my life, expounding on what is obviously their mutual love of this show. I even listen ( when I can get away with it) while I’m working. Keep it up, guys! And when you’re done with this, I’ll be there when you move into your next adventure. I Love Lucy? King of Queens? I highly recommended this podcast! Ted and Garrett give a top notch review and analysis of each and every episode! As a fan you will no doubt appreciate the related information associated with the actors, writers, shooting locations, etc. There will be at least one take away fun fact that you didn’t know before from each and every podcast. Felix and Oscar couldn’t have scripted a sharper and New York centric duo to do this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of my favorite components beyond the obvious OC references are the NYC/70s time capsule observations. That crazy Italian wine song commercial came back to me immediately…. For better or worse. Lol. Keep up the good work guys!

...and look forward to it every week. I was obsessed with this show growing up - yes from NYC in the ‘70s where it aired nightly for eons. Just love their take on the show and their banter. Highly recommended.

Hi guys a favorite episode of mine. Would just like to point out a tidbit two of the monks are wearing their hoods up look closely one is Garry Marshall and the other and I’m not sure but I think it’s Jerry Belson also not to nit pick Ted ,Floyd is Felixs’ brother not cousin. I agree the tag is lame.Anyway still a good episode 5 Murrays

As a huge OC fan from my channel 11 days in NY, I eagerly look forward to each weeks podcast. Love the work you guys put into it. My only qualm is I would have given “Odd Monks” 5 Murrays as it’s in my Top 3 but that’s just my opinion. Will you guys do a recap of your Top 10 so far after season 3? Keep up the good work! Remember a quitter never wins and winner never quits!

I’m enjoying this being a lifelong OC fan from watching on PIX. NOT enjoying the season one hate, just listening to the one clip they played had me laughing out loud. Decades channel is having a marathon this weekend and it was on WLNY over New Years, they played Laundry Orgy btw...... If you pick on the Bearnaise Barbara episode I might have to stop listening....... Aristophanes !!!

Love hearing discussion about one of my all time favorite shows. Ted and Garret focus on the funny, mention the mundane and examine the errors in continuity or in the writing choices. Comprehensive looks at episodes, including clips from the show, make for an enjoyable listen. Give it a listen. Don’t be sitting there with the football off!

This is a keeper. The bickering between the (very knowledgeable) hosts is almost as much fun as that between Felix and Oscar.

What a great podcast about, what I consider, to be one of the best shows of all time. Paired with Joe and Louie’s Honeymooners Podcast, you are reliving that great WPIX era! One of the great pleasures of comedic art is the ability to talk about it with your friends after experiencing it. The opportunity to recount jokes and laugh at them again in unison; the opportunity as well to share the groan-producing moments and obvious flaws and incongruences. A podcast is a wondrous throwback to tallking to one's buddies the next day at school about what everyone watched last night. In grown-up parlance, such discussions used to be known as "watercooler moments." Today such exoeriences are available on demand and the discussion is not the next day at work or school, but 40 to 50 years later on one electronic device or another employed on the way to or from the office, or while relaxing before bedtime. 1049 Park Avenue is a wecome addition to this growing body of entertainment!

I don’t see these guys getting any better at this. It’s torture to listen to this podcast. They’re boring and totally disorganized.
