New to the piping world. Listened to the most recent episodes and then started back at the beginning of the archives. Definitely worth a listen if you’re interested in the pipe hobby. If you only listen to one episode, listen to episode 6.

I wanted to like this show but I can’t. The main host Mike can’t stop dropping his right wing, MAGA political views into the conversation. He’ll say the show isn’t about politics but then start spouting about how his boy T**** is a hero or how global warming is made up. My search to find a podcast to fill the hole the much missed Country Squire Radio left continues.

Mike and Jay are a dynamic duo. I won’t say who’s Batman and who’s Robin! The show is so much fun. They introduce new pipe makers, blends, and the interviews are always top notch.

Overall, great podcast on our awesome pipe smoking hobby. However, the’ adult’ language is unnecessary. F-bombs, etc. add nothing to the content and enjoyability of the show. In fact this kind of language significantly limits your listening audience. Can’t listen to it at home. Can’t listen to it at work. Mike, I like the new discussion style format, but you need to keep it clean. There’s a reason no other pipe podcast or YTPC video uses language like this. We’re pipe smokers… we’re better than this. Love the show but keep it classy, Pipe and Tamper.

The Pipe and Tamper is full of great conversations and insightful reviews. Mike’s guests are fantastic and he does a great job navigating the interviews to give his listeners the most entertainment possible. The new addition of the co-host, Jay is a nice change and really does add something substantive to the show.

Being new to pipes and tobacco options (there are many), it’s nice to find a quick listen with names, tasting notes, and info. This podcast is my go-to for learning about new smokes without breaking the bank. Worth a subscribe, add it now.

As a new pipe smoker, this pod is a full breath of fresh-yet-delightfully-smokey air. I enjoy the off-the-cuff banter mixed with serious know-how, and the occasional focus on the new smoker is a real treat. Definitely a perfect excuse to load a bowl, thanks so much guys!

I’ve recently started crafting pipes and in the future hope to even grow and cure my own. I find this podcast very interesting and informative. I hope my friends colleagues and others find this podcast.

I recently changed job-sites and had an hour commute before and after my day. All of it is backroad that gets zero signal through the radio too. Stumbled upon Pipe and Tamper a couple of weeks ago and got addicted. Mike has this real ease about him. It doesn’t feel very different than just chatting with an old friend.

I discovered this podcast last year and quickly listened to every episode. Mike does a terrific job with a friendly yet professional interviewing style. This podcast has something to offer anyone interested in pipes and pipe tobacco. Not only is this podcast entertaining, it is very informative. What’s more is the host’s wonderful interview skills. He is just great. What a relief to have a pipe centered podcast other than the overrated Pipes Magazine and the almost unlistenable and obnoxious Country Squire podcasts.

Been an avid listener to the other pipe podcasts out there but never took the time to check this one out. I figured, what could this guy do that the others aren’t already doing. The answer is “provide a different perspective”. Mike has a great interviewing style, does his homework and asks lots of good questions. His podcast is straight forward and includes a number of informative segments like pipe and tobacco reviews and a “behind the pipe” segment. What’s that about?? You’ll have to listen to find out. My commute has just gotten better. Thanks Mike.

As an avid listener of other pipe podcasts I was upset to have slept on this one. A direct and structured podcast that is very well produced and keeps the listener engaged throughout. Less fluff more content. Fantastic listening experience.

As a very very new pipe smoker, it was great stumbling upon this podcast. Mike is a fantastic presenter and his interviews are filled with great informatioon for any enthusiast! I enjoy listening while I puff on a pipe in the mornings and the archive episodes are really worth listening to as they are as relevant today as they were yesterday. If your'e thinking about subscribing, stop thinking and just subscribe, I know you're going to love it!

Mike does a great job with the interviews, the anchor content of this podcast. But he also brings enjoyable additional segments. I’m particularly fond of the quick tobacco reviews. Even when I can’t try new blends, I always enjoy hearing about them and taking note of the experiences of other smokers. Mike brings podcast expertise and the enthusiasm of a true tobacco hobbyist to make this a fantastic show. Five stars!

I particularly enjoyed the Erik Stokkebuy interview as I had just ordered a couple of tins of 4th Generation Family Reserve. If you have not tried it yet, it is a must. Simply outstanding (and I am normally a Plumb Pudding guy). Really different and just plain good! This podcast is more than just a podcast. It is part pipe college and a conversation with blue collar next door neighbor. A nirvana of both worlds. Keep up the Great interviews and even better subjects.

Mike, fantastic show ur always introducing us to new and exciting Artisan pipe makers. My only complaint is the music/bumpers played during the Silver Gray episode, it is absolutely horrible. Please consider changing that crap.

Pipe and Tamper gives you the ultimate experience while enjoying your commute and your pipe. This podcast has a excellent variety of people that come on, everyone from the small Brick and mortar shop owners to the YouTube pipers like MuttnChop and even some internationally known. If you enjoy a good pipe and a great conversation then tune in to what’s my opinion, the only piping podcast worth listening to.

I bought my first pipe 25 years ago, but smoked only infrequently until about 2 months ago. On a whim, I decided to check and see if there were any podcast about pipe smoking. I have been binge listening every free minute I’ve had since! Love the show, and being introduced to so many great pipe makers, tobaccos, industry professionals, and other members of the community.
