Darby_ViolaWorth Every Word. Saved my Life!!Started listening to Trina after a year of suffering. Immediately she helped me. Her podcasts are like she is talking to you alone. Even if circumstances are different it is easy to apply any of her advice to your particular place. I listen to one every day . And will listen 1, 2, 3 times. Whenever I start going back to my pain I turn her on. .. I also bought Trina’s book. . Don’t be Desperate; its great. I spent a year doing everything wrong. . . I wish I had found her sooner. . but it’s never too late! Highly Recommend

Kee_AudreyFive Stars and Beyond!I have been listening to the "Breakup Boost" podcast for 2 years, and I must admit that the reason it took me such a long time to leave a review is that I was striving for perfection in my words. After contemplating for some time, I finally decided to reach out for email coaching. I can confidently say that I was not disappointed in the least. The email coaching I received was incredibly thorough, filled with a wealth of detailed facts and insights tailored specifically to the concerns I expressed. I am particularly grateful for the variety of services she offers, including email coaching, phone coaching, and the availability for calls at almost any time. This flexibility makes it easy for anyone seeking assistance to find a method that works best for them. Additionally, I cannot stress enough how much I enjoy her podcast episodes. They are so engaging and insightful that I often find myself going back to relisten to them. Trina's intelligence is evident in every response she provides, and her advice is always rooted in common sense and wisdom. She has an incredible ability to see through the noise and identify the core issues at play, often pointing out things that I hadn’t even realized I was overlooking. Her advice is not only compassionate and caring but also refreshingly straightforward, cutting through the confusion to deliver clear, actionable guidance with a no-nonsense attitude. I wholeheartedly recommend her podcasts and coaching to anyone who might benefit from her insights. Thank you, Trina, for the incredible work you do and for being a guiding light during such challenging times!

zzoorroo7Trina woke me up and freed meI usually take breakups pretty ok.. but 3 years ago I went through a truly rough breakup. The relationship was toxic but I was unable to leave. Even after I left, I was in shambles and constantly trying to contact my ex. I came across Trina’s podcast and quickly realized I NEEDED a coaching session with her. I booked email coaching, and poured it all out into words. Trina carefully read my email, commented almost sentence by sentence, with amazing insights. She was empathetic, sympathetic, but also was firm in her stance. She saw things clearly and helped me wake up from that nightmare. She even followed up with me a while back to check in on me, see how I’m doing now. I have steadily moved forward in life since her email, found myself again, and built new community around me. Thank you Trina, you’re the angel + friend + trusted voice that we all need.

Chantell GeneeRight On TimeTrina, A couple of years ago I was going through a break up and your podcast really got me through. Now a several years later I am going through another break up and I’m happy to say that although I stay away too long, I knew that it was coming towards an end. This morning I woke up, feeling a bit sad about the break up, I was primarily thinking about how my communication style could’ve been different and all the things I could’ve done differently to foster safety and healthy communication in the relationship. But I open up my phone and it suggested your podcast. So episode #250 had just come out and it is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you so much for providing the service to us while we go through challenging times and given us a professional opinion that is non-biased. Thank you again!

Nka814No contact is the way to goI recently left my boyfriend (and father of my 2 boys) of 23 years because we were incredibly toxic together and I found condoms in his pocket with a pair of boxer shorts and a note to a woman telling her he’d hoped he’d run into her again and gave his phone number. Of course he couldn’t figure out how the condoms got there and said “I didn’t give her the note” doesn’t matter you had the intention to cheat. (He’d cheated previously and I forgave him) I have been binging this podcast since the breakup and I absolutely love it. I’m learning about myself and how to deal with the breakup and how to love myself. I’ve gone no contact and it’s literally the best feeling ever. Thank you so much Trina for helping me through this!
-
people pleaser 100%Exactly what I needed to hearJust broke up with my boyfriend of 7 years. So much great information in the podcast that boost you up when feeling sad and lonely.
-
michpoo2Precise and Sage AdviceSince a recent painful break-up, this podcast has been my closest friend. Thank you for calling out the sometimes “hard to face realities” of our own making in relationships. It is exactly what I needed to hear, even though I cringed through a lot of it. It was in those moments that I have most seen myself and been determined to grow and learn from my mistakes. Moving forward, I will read red flags AND LISTEN to my intuition from the get go. And, no more second chances to exes who have proven unworthy of my efforts. The buck stops here, and you’ve guided me into the light. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Your advice and insight in episode #243 about the confused guy whose girlfriend left him after he said hurtful things, was so incredibly spot on. You nailed it! Doesn’t everyone wish to be treated with such dignity? If every human could listen to this podcast, and work to emulate this loyalty into their relationships…what a beautiful place our world could be. You are a gift Trina.
-
scwjesusweptAmazingGood advice and she’s nice. Thanks for telling people what they need to hear in a nice way. I’m a guy and my ex was a guy and I wish I found your podcast sooner. I like boys and you’re right on so many things. Keep the episodes coming Sonny

AmbieTwoNotchHit Home On Soooo Many Levels! My goodness….Trinia is a LIFEsaver…my situation I’m going thru right now is definitely a first for me on the whole break-up level. I jumped into a relationship or as the new term goes “situationship” with a married man that course, was old song an dance of…”getting a divorce an he was so happy to meet me”….welllll I must admit yes yes I DID ignore some major red flags because I was just infatuated with him right? It’s true love…👎🏽 He DOES still live under the same roof but of course is sleeping on the couch an all that good jazz…I know I know…most definitely took a lot of the info he gave me an just ran with it cause we were having so much fun! Well…yep after, I’m assuming, the novelty wore off of us, he became distant an made me hella confused an hurt….we limped it along for another few weeks until ultimately I got the courage to say, maybe once you figure out your stuff then we could have a chance but for now I’m signing out of your life…now I know that could mean I’m “hanging on” or “keeping hope” but here I am on a really really good breakup podcast! Because I am reflecting back on all the things I DID ignore an they are starting to prove better light that I just…was “for the time being” 💔 Don’t get me wrong there are still days where it stings A LOT, because I did invest time an was faithful with all that I shared with him, but to see it slowly crumble and not receive the same respect I gave him…was crushing an I still do have care for him…I’m really just hoping with time an listening to solid advice podcasts (like Trinia’s!) that I to, can become a stronger woman and will find someone worth the effort it takes to maintain a happy, healthy, relationship! Thank you so much Trinia for all the work you put into these podcasts and letting people who are struggling to come to terms with aspects they just can’t seem to do on their own for right then (the boat I’m currently floating on) I will continue to listen to more and more! -Amber

AlexaAllegretta44Trina is a lifesaverMy fiancé and I just ended our engagement after being together for almost 3 years. It’s been rough to say the least. We found out I was infertile due to several abdominal surgeries I had to have when I was younger and would need IVF in order to conceive children. This was not anything that should have been a shock to him or his family given that I had known my surgeries could have potentially damaged my reproductive system and was very honest with them. He decided that IVF went against his catholic faith and got his family so involved in our personal life that things got so bad. He was a hypocrite. We “lived in sin”, he didn’t go to church on Sunday's, bought me the plan b pill, and did so many other things that he justified but couldn’t justify the way we brought a child into the world bc it was against what his family wanted. He stopped fighting from the beginning by telling me I should leave him and find someone else when it was me on my hands and knees begging for him not to leave me and saying I’d adopt with him. After talking for 2 months with my family ( he was extremely close with them) I realized this was not right and we essentially ended things. He walked away from our life. Our goddaughter, my siblings kids who called him an uncle. The whole life we built together. I was broken. I found this podcast on a whim and have now realized all the things that were really wrong in our relationship. Trina helped me take off the rose colored glasses and see things for what they actually were and think LOGICALLY. Because let’s be real, any person who walks away from someone because of their family wants is not a real man. This podcast has truly helped bring me back to me. I am forever grateful to you Trina.

cfyncgsLife SavingTrina is truly amazing. Her insightful and logical discussions regarding relationships & the variety of issues people go through in breakups is life changing. She will absolutely change your perception about the terrible time you are going through & can relate to your particular difficulties. She helped me work my way through a breakup of a relationship that lasted over 13 years (with some breakups in between) She made me realize it's a waste of my energy and a waste of valuable present time & future time by holding onto something that is so toxic & unhealthy. It was by listening to her podcasts that I found the strength to break free and finally regain my strong, independent spirit that had been lost over all those years. For the first time in many many years, I feel happy & free & optimistic. She helped me find myself again. She made it crystal clear to me that one of THE most important things you can EVER do for yourself is to go NO CONTACT! She provided the support and unwavering logic of why this is so important. It saved me. I'll also say that if you're in a really bad place, use her for private sessions or find a therapist to talk through things.

SplinterphobicHoly CrapHow did I not know about this podcast sooner? I’m not sure what people think when they see me walking around with my headset on…exclaiming “Yes!” and “No!” but I don’t even care. When I’m listening to Trina, I feel like she’s talking directly to me. This woman has the most compelling common sense points about relationships you will ever hear. I am truly grateful.
-
DeannachicaFreshly singleI felt so down on myself these past couple days after a breakup of a 5 month relationship (super short I know). Both of us mutually ended it because all we did was fight and not see eye to eye on many things and our goals. This podcast got me right out of bed and into the gym and I AM WORKING ON MYSELF!! Will listen daily !!

asdfgfdStraightforward and RealisticTrina offers concise, logical, and realistic advice that resonates. I am really impressed with how she intuitively understands the nature of relationships and offers the perfect pieces of advice. I had one phone consult with her where we discussed the importance of healing and validating yourself after a very difficult relationship. She caught on quickly that I struggle with feeling small, voiceless, and invalidated throughout the last 7 years. She reminded me to feel proud of myself for removing myself from an abusive situation, and that I should focus on what I have gained from this breakup versus what I thought I lost. The healing process is just starting for me but I feel a little bit stronger and a little more in control of my life/emotions after speaking to her. Thank you Trina!

LunnazolTrina’s a Soul Saver!Last summer I went through a really nasty breakup. I was in a really dark place and struggling to get over a 6 year relationship -which in hindsight- was full of red flags from the get go. Trina opened my eyes and helped me get through one of the lowest points of my life. I am so grateful for her advice. I learned to value myself, be selective and not settle for less than what I deserve. I still listen to it as her nuggets of wisdom are priceless!!! Thank you Trina!! Big hugs from Puerto Rico!!! 🇵🇷
-
Katherine Lee WhiteTrina has your backThank you so much for creating your podcast. You helped me so much when I finally got the courage to break up with my boyfriend for good. Your advice about no contact was spot on and really helped me. Also, your advice about how they’ll contact us and apologize, and that we’ll be tempted to go back thinking they might have changed, was also spot on. You helped me stay grounded when times were turbulent. Thank you, Trina. Sending lots of good energy your way ✨
-
_steph//Best pod everLISTEN TO HER!!! Trina is the person to guide you while going through a breakup. She keeps you on track and tells it how it is in a direct, funny, and honest way. I’ve also done a phone call and email session for a few bumps in the road and am so happy I did. 5 stars all around
-
friends 3294BreakupI had come across this and have listened every day since. Was in a 17 year relationship and due to a family member telling him lies he just up and walked out of my life. And I don’t know what he was told. He will not answer me calls or texts. So definitely been struggling. So glad I found this podcast absolutely love it.
-
Pcp620Trina is the voice of reason we all need to get our heads straightI stumbled upon Trina’s podcast when I decided to breakup with my fiancée for various reasons, namely that I was ultimately settling and selling myself way too short (and dealing with red flag behaviors I never would have initially put up with but did during a LDR). Following the listening of multiple podcast episodes, I decided to have a coaching phone call with Trina. I was blown away that she made herself available on New Year’s Day for me to listen to my issue top to bottom and provide her clear concise and logical advice and path forward for me. When on the phone, it felt like Trina was one of my near and dear friends and she totally got me. I felt totally understood, which I needed. Since then, Trina is so accessible via her posts and IG reels and texts. I plan to do another advice call soon now that I’ve summoned a good head on my shoulders to think straight and logically about my path forward. I’m so thankful for Trina and her offering to us women! ❤️❤️❤️
-
CaptStephSo insightfulTrina is so thorough and insightful. I found her through an article I read about break-up sex. I have never had break-up sex before and felt I needed help with my confusion from break-up sex I had yesterday. I am listening to more and more of her episodes this morning and find she is helping me, a veteran monogomer (I’m 56), validate red flags and the signs of substance abuse I tend to ignore or dismiss. Thank you Trina.
-
ConniecoSooooo HELPFUL!I'm grateful to have found this podcast during such a painful time in my life. Trina seems to have wisdom beyond her years. I felt so sad and bewildered after being dumped out of the blue by someone I was so excited and hopeful about! All I could do was ask "Why?" and "What did I DO WRONG???" This podcast has helped me to realize that I have done NOTHING to ruin my budding relationship...it's just the way it turned out through no fault of mine. Thank you so much Trina for helping me to see the light at the end of this tunnel of despair.
-
MeaganLCTXThank you!I am going through a breakup that is more painful than I ever knew was possible. Your podcasts have given me so much strength and your advice makes me feel like I can get through this. Thank you!
-
fiberglassturtleYou’re a lifesaverTrina….I have started to listen to you after leaving my toxic relationship about a month ago. It was because of you I finally committed to no contact with him. Whenever I think about him or am feeling lonely I listen to you. All of your advice is so spot on that it snaps me out of whatever I’m thinking and prompts me to think differently which I appreciate so much! I am in such a better place now than I was even 2 weeks ago and I hope to continue to get better. I’m also on dating apps again which is where I met my ex but I’m starting to think that those men are on dating apps for a reason…they’re weird. Do you have any insight into this? Anyways thank you for having this podcast it has changed my life and I think everyone should listen to it no matter their relationship status!!
-
