Fuzzy Wah WahFantasticI have loved this podcast for many years - Dr Phil drove me to add a review! This is a fantastic podcast that we love to listen to. It has been such a tough 18 months away from family and ‘home’ - your podcast has helped us realize we are not alone ! Thanks for your honesty and transparency! Love this podcast.

Phil the DonahueFascinating glimpse into a totalitarian takeoverThese two haven’t a clue that their government is using a virus to control its people. Canada and Australia are in lockstep. England is suppose to be as well but when 1 million take to the streets it tends to work. Good luck you two, you are becoming a communist country, it happens.... P.S. the only reason middle easterners say yes is not because they are conformists it is because they will get killed. Americans say no because the USA has a Bill of Rights and oh, no cop can make me wear a mask, they don’t even wear them. 😉 good luck. Tell your kid to become a paramedic in the states.

ToykojenFirst review of a Podcast EVERThank you! Thank you for carrying on all year through what was probably the hardest year for expats ever. I haven’t seen my family or home country friends in over a year now and it’s just so comforting to know that I am not alone in the struggle. Your conversations are lively and relatable and real. Thank you! Keep them coming for 2021!

Zeldasue2So interestingLove your conversations! I learn so much and you express my feeling being away from home often. Enjoyed the University talk. Thanx so much.

ChristineinScottsdaleLove you ladiesZoom calls with friend have been ok but what I realise listening to you both (mostly doing my ironing!)is that I really miss in my new country is a proper normal chat with girl friends about all sorts of things, movies, books, the Covid 15! and our shared experiences and dilemmas. I admit I shed a little irrational tear when Kirsty was talking about Spring arriving in South Australia - too many hot days here and a sudden realisation of my weird expat lockdown covid experience. So a big thank you ladies for a lovely chat that keeps me feeling connected, makes me laugh and motivates me to do stuff! You rock!

MamaguatemalaMy Favorite PodcastThis podcast brings me so much joy! I am sadly no longer an expat but will always be one at heart. It is hard to understand how being an expat changes your view of the world unless you have done it. These ladies make me feel understood and it is like listening to friends. Thank you both for all your efforts! If you are, ever were, or want to be an expat check this podcast out.
-
rachelumreallyA proud fat expat!!I have been a listener - and a fan - since the very first episode. Real conversations about the challenges, the joys, the good, the bad and the ugly of expat life. I look forward to the new episode every week, and know that I’ll have a good laugh and learn something new.

eh876Essential and so much fun for expats (and not only)Both podcast and FB group are essential for us global nomads. They provide so much info and support. And the ladies are so much fun!
-
SusieAnnLouLove it!What an amazingly informative podcast presented to you by two gorgeous women who very well could be your two best mates!! The banter and laughs that these girls share about their own expat lives and the expat lives of others, gives the listener a sense that they are not alone on this funny old well trodden expat path. My joys and worries are so very often echoed in their conversations and for many of us who live far from ‘home’ this is a real comfort! Definitely worth a listen!

NanseymourHaving a cuppa with you...I have been listening to this podcast since it started. Whilst my expat days are over I still love hearing about expats lives around the world. Over and over I am reminded that whilst we come from many different countries and we are spread throughout the world - we share many of the same dreams and a craving for travel. I love hearing from people in China, Singapore, Australia, Europe, Africa- their lives are so interesting. Kirsty and Nikki are fabulous hosts and moderators. I feel like we are sharing a cuppa or g&t or beverage of choice and sitting at my kitchen table. There is great information shared as well as lots of giggles. Still my favorite podcast.

JTExpatFun, Entertaining, and InformativeThis podcast is like listening to your two best friends every week, with the added bonus of learning tips and hints of life as an expat. Long time listener, keep up the awesome work!

kcsingapore22So refreshing!I wish I had known about this when I first moved to Singapore 5 years ago! I spent one year really miserable and now I know how silly that was. This podcast is spot on with what we all go through when living far from home. It covers the good, the bad and the Necessary! I will continue to listen when I repatriate next year- and hope to connect with some people from this group when we go home! Hoping for the live meetup in Singapore!

mommyteacherfriendCommunity! It is hard to find a community of people that “get” expat life. Thank you for your community and great podcast!

WAHMRGHThe best of the bestKirsty and Nikki - I've been with Two Fat Expats since episode 4 I think - - - and then of course I went back and listened to the first three as well - so I'm an old timer! It's my favorite podcast hands down - I wait for every episode and savour every minute! Topics are great - the gentle humour is very much appreciated - there really is something for all of us no matter where in the world we are. So, just picture me sitting on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) - heading into San Francisco for a volunteer day - - one ear bud in (so I can hear with the other ear when the driver reports the "delay due to police action" on the loud speaker) - train carriage is silent - and I am giggling out loud as I listen to your discussion! I do get some weird looks - - but really I think that other people just wish that they were listening too!!
-
CrawlegbAwesomeLong time listener. I love listening every week and have used your words of wisdom for other expats struggling with issues. Now I’m ‘home’ dreaming of our next move! Keep it up girls!

KiwihellsFemale Empowerment at its BestA very, very funny podcast that reassures you that the doubts and tough times you experience living abroad are completely normal! The Two Fat Expats is female empowerment at its best. It reminds you there are many women rooting for your success and there to laugh with you when it doesn’t quite go how you planned... I discovered the podcast 6 months ago and have been hooked ever since. For anyone currently living abroad, dreaming of living abroad or has been an expat in a previous life - I can not recommend this podcast enough.

Debbie ManningTwo Fat Expats ReviewHow I LOVE this podcast!! As an expat mom in Singapore, I spend a lot of time driving my teenagers around to their various activities. Two Fat Expats has been a lifesaver- I now look forward to jumping in the car and having a little "visit" with Kirsty and Nikki (and previously, Sarah). How I wish this podcast been around when I'd just arrived in Russia as a brand new expat in 2009. Great stories and interviews, with a wonderful sense of humor thrown in. These women just "get it" - thank you!
-

lmac04Love it!Love this podcast! I repatriated back to my home country 12 years ago (gasp! Has it really been that long?!) and this lovely, witty podcast hits the nail on the head what it was like living overseas. I love listening and remembering all the good times and the challenging times. It's like sitting in their kitchen having a cup of tea and chatting. Thank you for doing this!!

gshack111Love, Love, Love it!I have been listening to this podcast over the last week. I am about halfway through Season 1, and I just love it. We are on our second expat assignment, and I feel myself joining the conversation in my head. I have told all my expat friends here in Paris that they need to give you a listen!
-
3limesblogWhen your expat kid goes to universityI listened to this one last night and it was like listening to someone who knew EXACTLY how I am feeling. None of my expat friends are going though this experience so listening to this podcast was like having coffee with a good couple of girlfriends. Thank you!
-
wdltLove it!You are both funny and charming. Feels as if I'm chatting with my girlfriends and I can relate to every subject as an expat with 15 years of experience in different continents!

AnahiOPHappy, feel good and crazy stories of our expat adventures!Love them to pieces, they make me laugh, cry and feel like I’m not alone on this expat universe that most people doesn’t get. Kirsty and Sarah are like a grown up, married, expat and fab version of Sex and the City, they add their unique touches and keep us always enjoying. Can’t wait to see what season 2 brings!

Soon2beExpatJust what I needed!I found this podcast on their 3rd episode. I just got married to someone who will be moving around from country to country every 3 years. I am excited for the adventures of expat life, but I am also nervous of all of the “unkowns” that I will face. Listening to Two Fat Expats has really helped me prepare mentally. Especially as our first post will be in Dubai. Thank you ladies. I have really enjoyed listening! If you have any tips for those just starting on their new expat life, I would love to hear them.
-

Maman08These podcasts are such fun!I’ve followed Kirsty’s blog for a few years now, and have loved the podcasts thus far. Kirsty and Sarah have a hilarious rapport and discuss issues in a way that’s sensitive and respectful of diverse experiences while remaining funny and frank and a bit cheeky. Please keep the podcasts going!

Londa321So much fun to listen toI’ve recently listened to all of these ladies' podcasts. I love the conversational pace of the podcast--I feel like I’m listening in on a conversation between two very funny, self-effacing ladies. The content is certainly relevant to someone who is an expat or even someone who is considering becoming one. They have a wealth of information and experiences to share. They handle even the most awkward of topics with humor and sensitivity (Expat Sex anyone?). There are very relevant tips (I never thought about having a contact list on the fridge for local friends to contact family back home in the event something happens to us parents). I’ve enjoyed when they’ve had guests on talking about their experiences. They’ve given me lots to think about as we continue on our expat journey. I am in awe of their ability to manage their households while working, blogging and launching a podcast. Keep up the great work ladies. As background: I’m an American who has been living in Williamstown, VIC, Australia since August 2014 on our first international assignment.
-
Mglenn995I look forward to listening, and find myself frequently mentioning this podcast in conversation.I moved with my husband to Abu Dhabi in December. A few weeks ago, I discovered this podcast. I love listening to these women speak about their insights on living abroad. I especially appreciate them because so many of the stable things I might have counted on in the past are not here: familiar territory, long time friends, family, my job. Anyway, I have recommended this podcast to many friends here and back in the states.
-
Mrs.rabelaLOVE IT!It is refreshingly witty and a joy to listen to especially when stuck in the Doha traffic, well done guys xxx
-
FlickdenKeep them coming! LOVE this! This podcast is wonderful! I’m a fairly new expat - Brit in the US - dealing with the trials and tribulations of being an expat. I love that you tackle difficult subjects like fertility, as well as the more usual things like missing home. Keep them coming.
-
RAB131312Love the Two Fat/Phat Expats!I look forward to the new podcast each week! So fun to listen to these two women as they talk about things that expats/moms/wives experience in their daily lives! Keep at it you two!!
-
JuliekayeFunny and informativeYour stories bring a smile to my face and I love your accents! As a former expat living in Thailand, I can relate to the challenges of adjusting to another culture and figuring things out as you go. I’ve never visited the Middle East, so learning about your experiences there is fresh and interesting. Your advice is spot on, too! Please keep the episodes coming!
-
Gwendolyn NanTwo Fat ExpatsThis is the best podcast I have listened to in a long time. These ladies are friendly and informational ;)
-
BloomingExpatFeels like a chat with friends who get me!A long-time expat who finds herself in the middle of winter in Kazakhstan, Kirsty and Sarah are keeping me entertained and informed as I walk in circles like a little hamster as it’s too cold to be outside right now. Having raised my now-grown children overseas, I can completely relate to their topics and they have a great chemistry. My only suggestion would be to include the URL of the websites & blogs on your Facebook page so that listeners can easily locate them. As I walk, I find myself quickly trying to type in notes on my phone of blogs or articles you mention only to have to come home and search for them and not always being able to correctly locate them. Keep up the good work ladies!
-
CFH555Informative and Fun!I love every second of every episode! Relevant insight and information about expat life with plenty of humor thrown in. Recommend this podcast for anyone living abroad as an expat, considering a move away or repatriating back home. Also great for friends and family members to get an insight into what their loved ones are experiencing....pretty much anyone who enjoys listening along to two amazing women as they encourage and inform others on how to make the most out of expat life and just life in general. Great audio quality, you feel like you're a part of a fun conversation with girlfriends. I've found other great blogs and podcasts from their recommendations and look forward to spending time with them each week. Love them and this awesome podcast!

LouiseC303Such fun! These two podcasters have great chemistry and rapport with each other. The pod is fun, entertaining and informative in a good way. The pacing is good and the chat is excellent. These gals are definitely creating a good “product”. I laughed at many of the stories they shared. I have never been an expat as an adult, but when I was 5 years old my father worked for the State Department in Benin, Africa, so my entire family had to move from California to Africa in the 1960s. Talk about culture shock, and the pod brings back memories from my childhood perceptions of what living abroad was all about. Keep up the great work and good energy. Loving it!
