LongShot888I listen every week…Great podcast. William Gallagher’s incredibly dry humor and sarcasm feeds my soul lol. Also check out his YouTube channel 58 keys!! His wisdom and humorous take offers a great balance with his cohost, offering a lovely and often funny take on the latest Apple News.

sarkarrulzUnfollowUsed to be good. Now it’s become super annoying. Sample: AI is a fad, Apple being anti competitive is fine because it’s Apple. Also Orange man bad.

Poppleton21Pretty Good Apple podcastThis podcast is overall a pretty good podcast that is good for informing you about Apple products. I do listen to it weekly for sure. However I think the comment that the US is not safe to travel to is a little extreme. I do however think it’s important though to discuss regulation laws related to Apple. Overall, a really good podcast and I definitely will still be listening.

Looking for another podcastPreviously an Incredible show... Until WesUpdated- Please fix this show. Wes is possibly the worst host I’ve ever experienced in any format. Every week, he rambles incessantly about himself, and anyone (including William) who disagrees with his opinion is dismissed as an idiot. Apple Insider used to be the “gold standard” of shows about Apple products and information. Instead, we get an hour of him... defending his decision to buy the Vision Pro and justifying the purchase, his love of Bojack Horseman, his fiance’ and, of course, demeaning anyone who purchases a product he doesn’t like. This review has nothing to do with politics, but I’m sure that will be his excuse. Please allow Wes to find another job and stop ruining a once fabulous show. By the way, Wes's written reviews are just as brutal and long-winded. Another show I listen to is The Homekit Insider, and now he is bringing down Andrew’s show. William is still excellent! I am a longtime listener and Appleinsider fan. Since Stephen left, the quality of the show has dropped dramatically. I adored the weeks that William was on with Stephen and tolerated (at times) “Wes weeks.” Since the change, the chemistry between William and Wes, although sincere, has not been there. Wes was always a solid co-host and gave tremendous insight and tidbits when partnering with Stephen. However, Wes doesn't have the skill set to be a host. Wes talks incessantly about himself and rarely is quiet when William shares information or a story. I will give it one or two more weeks to see if things improve.

CHM13Great show, barely any real politics. Don’t believe the haters.IDK what’s up with all the recent reviews trashing this show as being too political. It’s BARELY political - mostly just factual - and there’s chapter markers to skip it if you want to complete avoid politics.
-
ddausendWes is a childImagine being an adult and continue to bring up Pokémon card references. Grow up Wes. He is beyond the most boring person to listen to.

Titan 73Balanced TechnologyI am a long time listener. I find the discussion between Wes and William very engaging and balanced. There chemistry and banter has evolved naturally since Stephen left. I understand people don’t want to hear about regulation/ politics but it’s impossible because it effects us all. I bought into the Apple walled garden and the DMA absolutely makes me want to scream. No company should be forced to give their technology away to competitors so they can profit off of me. No government regulations should go beyond there geographical boundaries. It’s interesting that Apple is getting singled out and the privacy and security which I opted into is under assault thus endangering my data. I don’t understand why Apple refuses to fight back

TizweedEnough already of Wes’s left, leaning commentary!Long time listener, all the way back to when Stephen Robles first started the show. I stopped the current show in place as I couldn’t take it anymore. When Wes started talking about it not being safe to travel in the US from a foreign country, that was just too much. We’ve all suffered through his anti-Trump anti-conservative dribble for such a long time. It’s not enough that he cuts off and minimizes most things that William says, but this newfound hate spew is driving me away from this podcast. Keep it to the tech. Your audience doesn’t want to hear this nonsense (Wes’s favorite word)! If he wants to create another show with his leftist thoughts, go ahead and do that, however, keep it away from this show.

Bill SchmidtUnsubscribeI thought I was listening to a podcast about Apple and Apple products. Not the introjection of delusional left-wing politics. I’m out! Unsubscribe.
-
UnravioliEntertaining and informativeI enjoy the interplay between the hosts, William brings a wry humor that in turn sets up Wes as the comedic foil who keeps things on track. I appreciate each of their unique perspectives on the range of topics they discuss. Keep it up and don’t change a thing!

dmiller425Steven had me at ‘Dub dub’…😆I find the Apple Insider Podcast to be an excellent and succinct review of Apple’s products and services, as well as a clever insight to the way Apple might develop and adapt to customer needs in the future. I appreciate all of the content and conjecture…I also enjoy the content relevant to current politics, and how they affect the technological sector. It is a reality that must be discussed, and I think that Wes and William do a masterful job of providing the information without any of the vitriol that sometimes accompanies politically adjacent subject matter. Thanks for all of the hard work gentlemen!✊🏼🤙🏼

Cheif BrodieSolid Apple techAppleInsider is a solid Apple tech show with great commentary and fantastic insight into the world of Apple. They’re doing a great job of reaching both Apple fanatics, and those that are new to the Apple ecosystem. Keep up the great work.

AKA Tony Stark'sWas/Is a Great Show!!I have been listening to the show for so many years. It has always been a great show. If you want Apple news, this is a great show. However, over the last several months there has been a lot of comments made regarding politics. I do agree that politics sometimes affect tech companies. That part should be discussed in the show. However, there has also been a lot of statements made like “these dark times” which is side comments from a personal perspective. It has nothing to do about Apple. That is not acceptable for the show. Start another show call Apple politics!! It saddens my heart that regardless of your political show that has great content of few individual choose to insert their political comments. I appreciate all the content over the years with the show that once was great. Signing off of the AppleInsider for the last time.

DubzxnHonest ReviewI hope this gets to you guys I don’t truly understand the people who are just lurking hating but Thank you both for everything you guys do and I truly appreciate it, love the podcast and I 100% support and agree with your takes not every listener is a hater🙌
-
Klishak22Great showI love wrapping up my week with this show. Then I start my week with HomeKit insider. 😁
-
FB1223451111I’m OutListen Dog, if I wanted to hear politics, there are plenty of other, better places to do that. I’m out.
-
ajgjkStay out of politicsThis show is disposed to be about apple tech not politics. I don’t care about you thoughts about the world, just report the news
-
CrosbySWThank youThank you guys for not getting down or changing your show because of the loud haters. You guys are doing great and keep up the good content. I have been listening for a year and honestly probably way more. I hope that you keep up the good content and great explanations. You guys are the best.

NeilsLotusTired of Westley’s “Feelings”Although Westley mentioned a couple episodes ago that he was going to avoid politicizing the show he frequently can’t help expressing his feelings. I listen to several other tech podcasts that somehow stay away from political leanings. Although I like William’s contributions, I am going to drop AI from my regular podcasts.
-
briancrinkModular Computing DiscussionsI don’t see much awareness being brought to the tech space about the topic of breaking away from the laptop form factor. Wes is one of the few in the Apple tech space that is highlighting the benefits of using a Mac Mini as the primary computing device and “bringing your own peripherals” like the Apple Vision Pro or portable monitor as the display, portable battery power station, paired with an external Magic Trackpad, mechanical keyboard, and mouse. This discussion will bring personal computing into the next generation of ergonomic-centric computing!
-
Prairie_DogExcellent Podcast for Everything AppleWes, William, and their team keep the listeners fully informed about all things Apple as well as related technology trends. This is a positive podcast, with very knowledge commenters who will give you accurate and timely information. The audio quality is excellent, and the references are nicely linked. It’s hard to go wrong with this informative and professional podcast!

Nicholas BridleGreat Takes, Good ReviewsWes and William are great hosts. They break down the most up to date Apple Rumors and news. Their analysis is informed, and detailed. They weave in societal and culture commentary appropriately as it relates to the topic at hand. Been listening for years, and enjoyed all the hosts. This version of the show is definitely worth a listen. I also Subscribe for the bonus content too, the added breakdown for me is a value add. Thanks for all you do!
-
Johnny_TerpsNo one cares about your politicsWe get it. You’re a hard core leftist. You don’t need to not-so-subtly announce that every week while feigning to not want to talk about politics. Make Wes the host, please, so you can have more time with your leftist buddies on bluesky.
-
theilluminati23Gone downhillHasn’t been the same since Stephen left. Now they’re venturing into politics and giving some pretty absurd takes on it while claiming not to be getting involved in politics. Time to find another podcast
-
French Camp 49erLeftist Political RantsShow has now become nothing more than a a leftist propaganda outlet
-
JHAirForce05DisappointedListened to the podcast for years but can’t take the politics as of late. This is supposed to be a technology podcast. Politics plays a role but when selective facts are the only ones stated, the bios is quite clear. Stick Apple news and I’ll return.

ME43665644Missing StephenI’m sorry but when your host says ridiculous stuff like Twitter is dead so where does anyone talk about this stuff, then this show is clearly out of touch. This is the second week I’ve listened and something outrageous in the same category has been said. The show also hasn’t really been that great since Stephen left. I still really like William but him and Stephen are a much better duo. So time to unsubscribe. I’ll check back periodically, but it just isn’t a great show anymore. Update: Tried the latest episode, things aren’t any better. Not a fan of Wes at all, and often times he’s not even factually correct. Same goes with the Articles on the site, might have to give that up as well.

Mavic157AmazingFriday is one of my favorite days of the week! Love this podcast so much! Amazing performance too! As a diehard Apple fan, I come here to get all the updates on the products that haven’t been released yet, and the ones that have been released, but I have no idea about.

Ian ElseOne of the only podcasts I listen toThis podcast is one of the only ones I listen to regularly. You guys are knowledgeable and speak to regular people. Not only a great tech/Apple podcast, but this could almost be classified as a podcast about a lifestyle podcast by the masterful way you guys talk about living in a world filled with tech. I’ve listened to a few other tech/Apple podcasts, and others spend a long time getting way too technical and deep into the tech. But what I love this show is that you talk about how you use Apple tech and tech in general in your everyday lives and how tech really affects people. You guys have been hitting out of the park the last few episodes with talking about a replacement for new years resolution and using tech to our advantage, and not let it take advantage of us as people. And your episode about privacy and how Apple handles privacy for its customers was spot on. You spoke exactly why I love Apple products and Apple as a company. Thanks for making me a better user and thinker about tech and the tech world!
-
reallyradryanSuper cool for the geeks!I am someone who likes to know all the changes when a new IOS update drops, and these guys have it all for me!
-
Jon faAudio for episodesHey guys love the show listen for years but , your audio is way to low I have to raise volume all the way up on air pods and even my speaker to hear you talk , I listen to different audio podcasts and yours are the only ones that are really low , hopefully you can make a adjustment

CynthiaJane1281I Love This ShowFridays are my happy day because a new AppleInsider podcast is released! I have learned so much from William and Wesley; their knowledge of Apple and technology in general is extensive. I also really enjoy their repartee. I just signed up for the Subscriber Edition. Yay!!!😀 Thank you William and Wesley.
-
K-dog2010Love it, but can be annoying at timesI like the podcast a lot, but William tends to make awkward jokes/go off topic a lot, other than that it’s a great podcast!

Redpixel09Getting better…Update: William now has a new mic, which is better. Another thing: Wesley’s mic is suburb. William’s is… not great. If he’s consider getting a better mic, that’d be great. Even the mic on the apple earbuds (the wired ones) is better than whatever William’s using right now. App Recommendation: Fruit Stand. It’s an Apple Device collection manager for only $5 Update: I’ve revised my opinion. I think that as time goes on, the chemistry will get better. Will it be the same as Stephen and William? No, but it’ll be better than the first episode after Stephen left. It won’t be the same, but maybe that’s ok. Also, thanks for finally using a unique photo for episode art. Original Review: Back before Stephen left, I really enjoyed this podcast. Stephen and William had great chemistry, and Stephen and Wes wasn’t bad either. But William and Wes just has never had the same chemistry. Whenever Stephen couldn’t record an episode for one reason or another, the William+Wes episodes were always not as good, but it was fine in small, very infrequent doses. But now with Stephen gone, it’s slowly getting more and more uninteresting. If Wes would let William talk more, and if they’d lighten up a bit, I think it’d be better, but without much connection between William, Wes, and the listener, it’s getting harder to listen to.
-
braydendcooperLove the showI just love the show. This is where I go for Apple news. I can’t wait every week for the new episodes every Friday.
-
Gameman114This is Where I Go For My Apple NewsI really love this pod. The hosts really know their stuff and aren’t afraid to get into the nitty gritty. Also, I LOVE it when they talk about Nintendo and Pokémon!
-
pixellolisAudio quality improvedAppleInsider Podcast just keeps getting better! The recent improvement in audio quality has made it so much easier to listen, especially in the car. I always enjoy Wes’s insightful takes on all things Apple, and William’s English humor adds the perfect touch. Keep it going guys.
-
tmc1003Love the show!Big fan of AppleInsider! Really enjoy the show and always look forward to new episodes on Fridays!! One thing though, I’m a subscriber and the last episode played ads and there was no insider part after the show. I checked to make sure my subscription is still active. Don’t know how to reset it 🤷♂️

dbain3175Best Podcast on Apple TechThis show is both informative and very listenable for fans of all types. You will walk away with a greater appreciation of Apple products, a better understanding of their capabilities, and an honest review of what works well and where there’s still room for improvement. It’s the only tech podcast that I listen in entirety each week.
-
pmarietEnjoying your showI’ve grown to enjoy this Podcast. The two hosts are interesting and work well together.
-
I_USE_THE_APPSGood nerd talk.Like listening to fellow nerds and geeks instead of fanboys. Love it.

Class of 1978Thanks for the InspirationI have been an avid long time listener, really enjoying the conversations between William and Wes. I really liked William Gallagher´s perspective about AI for writers when he said “ If you get AI to write it for you, I’ll get AI to read it for me”, and it inspired me to draw a cartoon. And I promise I didn’t use AI to write this review.

Copperpot000Sound QualityPlease find a way to fix that horrible whistling noise when the British gentleman speaks. It is horrible!!!!!!
-
shark9999!Sound QualityHorrible sound quality. The intro music is fine but once they start talking the volume is very low.
-
Turnit22timesUsed to love itI used to listen to this podcast daily however, since Stephen left, it’s insufferable at times. Wesley tends to talk down to his audience and struggles to objectively depict the products. Even as an ex Apple employee and fanboy, I find his takes on products to be frustrating and at times blatantly wrong.
-
Ahoog69Good, but…Overall, this podcast is informative and entertaining. However, the audio quality—particularly the levels—is hit or miss. I’ll be listening to a podcast from the BBC (one of the gold standards for audio), and when this podcast follows, the levels drop significantly. I am obliged to turn up the volume…quite a bit. Please work on the outgoing audio quality, especially the consistency of the levels.
-
Josh the review guyGreat info and entertaining conversationTwo thumbs up!! I get almost all of my Apple News from podcasts and this is possibly my favorite one to listen to!
-
tdawgUMGood StuffGood information and discussion. I have a number of pods for apple and tech so ApIn was a later subscribe for me personally; but I’ve added this into my rotation more and more.

WhatusaymarkMy Favorite Apple Related PodcastAs a paid subscriber to the podcast, I can’t recommend it enough. I listen to a handful of podcasts that cover all things Apple. But this one is my favorite, by far. The conversations between William and Wesley are always engaging, and I learn something from every episode. Plus both hosts encourage you to reach out to them, which very few of the other podcasts I enjoy do. (They just want you to listen and keep your mouth shut, I suppose.) It’s part of my Friday morning routine every week without fail.
