Very good information is discussed in a very low class manner littered with waaay to many unnecessary F bombs. Even the shows promotional commercials contain obscene language. If it does not annoy you to hear women talking like sailors then this show is worth a listen to.

Alisha and her guest speakers always give a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding planning. I really enjoy this podcast because the host is always unapologeticly herself, instead of putting on a fake persona for her podcast. I enjoy most episodes, but if your new to the podcast, and don’t enjoy your first podcast episode, I would say try one more time on a topic that interests you before giving up on the podcast. She really has so much good information/advice to share.

My goal is to listen to every episode before my wedding. The host is such a calming force who brings a smile to my face every episode. I’m sad my engagement came weeks after the last podcast was published and I hope it returns. It really has helped me keep my head on during this crazy time.

Wow! I have never laughed and cried so much in one episode. Bride chilla has given us so many ideas and things to think about that we wouldn’t have. I wouldn’t consider myself the type of person that freaks out, but even things like registries and alcohol have so many options - so hearing the stories and options of so many brides has been helpful! After postponing our wedding last spring due to COVID, I was feeling really apathetic about our upcoming wedding this summer. I could not seem to get my excitement back or find any motivation to continue planning. I stumbled across this podcast and it has singlehandedly renewed my enthusiasm and helped me get back on the wedding planning horse. Aleisha is amazing, smart witted and an amazing human for making these podcasts! I would not have been able to get though planning my wedding without some of her advice and help not only from the podcasts but her fb page also. I got married 3 months ago. I still listen to them on my way into work every Monday. I’m obsessed. She makes wedding planning not be so stressful and has made the planning fun! She has no filter and I love her for that! This show is good for details, to make the planning experience fun and the overall more laidback sentiment. It’s not the nuts and bolts. The only peeves I have are when the host says she has no culture (it just assumes whiteness is the norm) and soothed a lady who wanted her wedding at a house that looked like a homage to white supremacy. Also most of the voicemail issues can be resolved with assertiveness, setting boundaries and showing greater maturity. When Aleisha says, “look, I know you don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings but that’s life and this is your wedding.” I love that.

Aleisha is not only a brilliant wedding expert, but bubbly, hilarious, and a true joy to listen to. If you listen to one podcast to plan your wedding, this should be it! Hell, even if you’re not planning a wedding - it’s still a great listen!

The tips and advice are good, thank you for having this podcast. The frequent cussing is a little frustrating to listen to though. If there was less or none, 4-5 stars for the content.

This is the only wedding planning podcast I’ve found that doesn’t make me want throw my ring out the window and be done with the whole thing. Aleisha is funny, relatable, and gives real, sound advice that you will actually use. I would recommend this, and really only this, to brides who are over the BS of bridal magazines and traditional planning resources.

This ia a fantastic, down to earth and informative podcast on the real real of the wedding business. A florist myself, I just listend to episode 358 with The Flower Guy Bron and found myself simoltaniously laughing and nodding as he let people in to the mind of what your florist is actually thinking when you say "candles" or "greenery."

Aleisha makes wedding planning so much less intimidating, covering common and not-so common topics that brides are asking questions about as they approach their wedding days. Aleisha, thank you for being my virtual fiancé as I plan my own wedding! Your advice and thoughtful episodes have been lifesaving during this process.

Aleisha is hilarious, compassionate, wise, articulate, and she has the best wedding advice around. Plus her accent is hella sexy. I would listen to her read the phone book. She gets great guest experts on frequently, but her solo episodes are my favorite. I binged on almost all the episodes; I recommend starting at episode #200 when the podcast became Bridechilla. (This is when her announcer lady got way less irritating, and she covers all the basics of weddingy things after that, so you won't feel you missed too much.) This podcast isn't only for brides -- non-lady nearlyweds will benefit just as much!

Wow, I cannot day enough great things about this podcast, or the host! Aleisha is probably the best part of my day at work, she is like therapy! I was so overwhelmed with the thought of planning our wedding, but this podcast changed our perspective and gave us the confidence to make it our own and say “to hell with tradition, it’s our wedding”.
