    Sin
Why is sin minimized at Flatirons? Seems to minimize Jesus and God’s sovereign sacrifice and mercy. We should all fall on our knees daily for His mercy and it should drive us to live lives that honor Him with our gratitude. A few verses sprinkled into a sermon set on practically is shallow compared to uplifting Our Lord and how we should humbly accept what He did for our sins. That knowledge comes from digging into what God says in His word. His word should be the essence of a sermon. Not a topic. When we left Flatirons after many years of shallow teaching, we were spiritually starving. Listening occasionally to Flatirons, it’s still the same. Boulder County needs to know sin and Jesus sacrifice. And God’s word. Really know God’s word

    Real Life
Nice to see a pastor relate to you as a fellow sinner, saved by Grace seeking after the One True God Almighty, Jesus Christ. Jim’s and his Sermons are engaging and sometimes funny. He is a man after God! Their doctrine and principles are soundly rooted in scripture. God Bless Flatirons Church, may they continue to bring the lost to Christ! 🙏✝️

    Truth and Grace
Flatirons church audio podcast is for those who are hurting, having a better time in their relationship with God than ever before, and everyone in between. The beauty of this church, and its message is that they run after and pursue the one true God and his son Jesus who died for us. No added fluff, no religious mumbo jumbo. Just the real life crap that everyone puts up with everyday. If you want someone to stand with so that you can say “I know I’m messed up, but these people are too and are willing to go through it with me” then flatirons church is for you. This church can’t and probably won’t fix your life, but can point you in the direction of the one who can.

    The missing sheep
Jesus and Jim are changing my life. I left religion years ago and I finally got quiet and listened to all the signs around me. They all pointed me back to church. The more I push into my relationship with Jesus the more I’m able to forgive myself and others for my past. Jim’s teachings are in your face, real life examples that press you to question your heart. If you want to dig deeper and live a life with your creator then take a listen.

I’ve never been but always listen
I listened when I lived in Alaska. I continue to listen now that I live in Florida. I have relatives in Aurora. When I get a chance to visit them, I’ll be there in person. Keep on sharing Jesus with the world.

    My heart grows here
I can’t say enough good things about this church. If I could spend every day there in worship, I would. They challenge your faults and let you know that it’s all gonna be okay and ‘here’s why’. The life and comfort I get being surrounded and overwhelmed by these people in unreal. I live in LA now and I am so thankful for the incredible flatirons team and their dedication to make the services technologically available and quality. Thank you flatirons. Again and again.

    Encouraged by these messages
I am glad that these messages from Flatirons Community Church (FCC) are available in this format as it has allowed me to listen to messages that I may have missed in the years past as well as those missed most recently. I have called FCC my church since 2007, but have not always made it every weekend, so catching up on here has made that easy during my long commute to work. The messages of Jim and Scott have been instrumental in my life, not because they are godly men (though they are constantly seeking Him), but rather that they focus on Biblical truths that many churches shy away. That and coupled with their personal approaches makes for an engaging message. To be frank, I have not always led a life fully aligned according to His teachings (who has?), but I am glad to have a place that isn't afraid to address the hard issues of our time/society. It is great to have a constant reminder of what is better, when we lead lives that we were intended to lead based off of what our Savior has prescribed as better for us.

    Yay it's closer
I have been going to Flatirons for a few years now but I live in south jeffco and the drive to church was close to an hour and I am soooooo happy they finally open the west campus!! Now it's only 20 min drive!!! It is still the same great flatirons feel but in a smaller church setting! I really enjoy when Jim is teaching at one campus and Scott is at the other I love to listen to the podcast of the one I didn't hear to see how thy both are teaching in the same thing but I am learning something different from both! 2 awesome pastors!!!
