    Highly generalized Weight loss and muscle building approaches poorly supported by scientific backing. Lack of explaining how generalized concepts may be effective for a myriad of lifestyles and body types. Little citing of actual verifiable research. More like a fad diet approach.

    I found this show two months ago and have enjoyed every episode I’ve made time to listen too. Check it out when you’re ready to consider healthy advice on how to live a better quality of life. Incorporate what you want and pass on what doesn’t fit your lifestyle or desires. I’m very happy that this show exists. I wish there were more newer episodes and I enjoy going back into archive to hear old shows I haven’t heard.

    My favorite podcast!!!
    This podcast is an INCREDIBLE resource for any vegan who cares about, and wants to take control of, their physical fitness! Thomas brings so much knowledge and experience to the table and he shares it all for FREE!! Thank you so much! He also does a great job at selecting awesome guests who bring valuable insights to the podcast and he is very thorough with their interviews. I also like that the episodes are short enough that I never really lose my place. I started listening from the first podcast about a month ago (I've listened to about 40 by now) and I haven't gotten board with even one! With other podcasts I've listened to I have either skipped episodes that just didn't interest me or skimmed through them at high speed just to get them over with-- not the VBR show though! Thanks Thomas!!!

    Addicted!!!
    I just discovered Thomas Tadlock Podcasts about a month or so ago and have been addicted!!! Each and every episode is loaded with information esp. for someone like me who is in the process of converting from a Vegetarian/Pescatarian to Vegan. I adore his style of presenting information and obtaining details regarding workouts and nutrition from his podcast guests. My favorite interview is Yolanda Presswood and Simone Collins. Always have a notebook handy while listening to him.

    Energizing, FREE, Honest… Amazing!
    This has been my go-to resource for pretty much anything I need to know about exercise and nutrition for the past year or so, and many of his topics have started me on different paths for my own ongoing nutrition and fitness research. Thomas isn’t into theory. He’s into proven, tangible RESULTS. I am a nutrition consultant, and this podcast has such insanely wide-ranging information that I feel I am doing my clients, family, and friends a huge favor by listening to the recordings. Thomas is really passionate about what he does, and you can definitely tell that by how he speaks and by the topics he covers. His interviews with vegan bodybuilders and vegan athletes are SO fascinating!!! He writes down everything they say about their diet and exercise routines, and he facilities the interviews in such a way that it’s simple to rewind and write it down myself. The way he listens and asks questions and shows such an interest in each guest is the mark of an effective and great leader. He has tons of his own experience in the fitness world, yet he hangs on each word of each individual interviewee. The sheer volume of research he has done and continues to do, and the nutrition and fitness experiments he’s been doing on himself since the 90s - it’s mind-blowing and I can’t believe this podcast is free. If you’re someone curious about how to raise your metabolism, reduce inflammation, looking to up your athletic performance or lose weight, gain muscle, be environmentally conscious, learn about how top athletes achieved their fitness levels, be a truly clean machine, or even if you’re someone totally skeptical of this whole “vegan bodybuilding/vegan athlete” thing…. CHECK HIM OUT!!!

    Not my cup of tea. You never really presented to the promised information, the “specifics.” Is this a scam? I do not like the sales-pitchy approach. Maybe I’ve missed something but so far not impressed.

    Decent podcast with some great information and tips. My only real complaint is that sometimes it feels like I'm listening to an infomercial for the progams on his website, the "best" of which is so far out of the average person's price range it's laughable.

    A Little Annoying but excellent source of info.
    Thomas Tadlock has a great thing going here. Lots of excellent information however in his interviews he can be a bit tough for me to listen too. The interviewee may be able to share more if Thomas gave him a bit more stage time and stopped with the never ending WOWs! AWESOME’s! AMAZINGs!, OH MY GODs! and INSANEs! and the excessive complimenting of the guest. It can seem a bit in-genuine. I think the subject matter is already very interesting and doesn’t need to be so hammed up. That said, Thomas has an excellent voice, and has created a radio show that answers of a ton of questions environmentally conscious men and body builders have. Grateful for all the information and will continue to listen. This is an excellent source of information and thankful for Thomas for taking the time to put this together.

    Not Just For Men!
    I checked out this podcast just looking for vegan chatter to fill my work day thinking it would be a men’s bodybuilding show, but I’m addicted! As a long-time vegan female I thought I was doing pretty well, but I’m newly inspired to take my fitness and nutrition much more seriously. Great tips for all fitness levels, and what better way to advocate for animals than to be a shining example to health and fitness? Thanks so much Thomas for excellent content! Hopefully it’s not too late for me to enter to win tickets to your Austin seminar...

    I have learned so much from listening to Thomas. I have worked so hard to loss this weight and get the muscle body that I dream about, but could never understand what I was doing wrong. I do not like working with person trainers, so I would read books and magazines to learn. This is the only person that has told me the truth and I feel that with his input I will meet my goals. I have just gone Vegan due to getting sick off eating to much meat and can not stomach what they are doing to anamals. I though that I was going to have to give up my dream. Keep up the great work and thank you.

    Keeps me motivated during workouts
    Thomas Tadlock does for bodybuilding what Rich Roll does for endurance sports. He talks to the best and brightest in the field. What I love is when he asks the subject to slow down or repeat themselves so he can write down what they say! Tadlock makes sure he really understands what the person is saying and how they eat & workout. I listen to this podcast while I hit the gym. It keeps me motivated to remain vegan and lifting weights.

    the interviews on this show are wondefully stuctured to show the step by step diet, training, and motivation for each person. Thomas Tadlock's enthusiasm and humbleness make him the perfect host and focal point for others people training with a plant-based diet. i hope he has a chance to interview non bodybuilder athletes like Tim Shieff and Brendan Brazier in the future, but in the meantime, please keep em coming!

    I have listened to several dozen episodes. Several statements have caused me concern about what I was already doing; only to find out the statement made was wrong. One example was linking BCAA supplementation to Parkinson’s. While extreme high doses can give symptoms similar to said disease - it does not cause it. A 2 minute google search was able to disprove this. The interview style is odd, and often interrupts the subject instead of letting them finish. If the answer given is not what you want - ask in a different way. Edit out the questions that did not work, clean up in post. I only started listening a couple weeks ago - so I have compressed multiple years into a few weeks. Inconsistencies are more apparent in this format. I applaud that Thomas wants to help people improve wellness, and I agree that plant based nutrition is a wonderful way to go. The overall podcast feels desperate in this effort.

    I started following Bodybuilding when I was in high school and Rachel McLish was Ms. O. Back then, all of our information came out of magazines and books as the internet was non-existant. As a vegan and an avid weight lifter for almost 30 years now, this podcast helps fill a huge information gap that exists currently for those of us that are fans of the iron game! Thank you, Thomas! Keep bringing them!

Thomas is an awesome, compassionate person, and he even took the time to chat with me on Facebook when I had some questions. Can’t wait for more episodes, and can’t recommend this show enough.

    I searched for Joe Cross to hear more about and learn how to institute a juice reboot. I found this podcast and was a bit disappointed at Tom's awkward interruptions to get seemingly pointless questions in. Tom, I'm sure you are a wealth of knowledge on all things health and vegan, but you should brush up on interviews and maybe remember that sometimes "less is more."

    Thomas Tadlock provides tons of great, free muscle building and vegan information on this podcast. I stumbled onto it a week ago and had to start from the beginning to listen to all of them because I didn’t want to miss any of the knowledge provided in these episodes. He knows what he is talking about and he is actually very entertaining. He is very enthusiastic about health, veganism, and muscle building and it comes through in his podcast. If you looking to get ripped, (vegan or not) listen to this podcast; it really is like having personal trainer and nutritionist on your iphone. Keep up the good work Thomas!
