    Inspired to change jobs
Started listening to Carl in my office at my corporate job several years ago. I had my private pilot license already but wanted a change. Happy to report back that I finished all my ratings and just finished getting my type rating in Citation flying Part 135. His closing tagline always inspired me to keep going, Thanks Carl!

Best Aviation Career Coaching Out There
I’m in my early 30s getting ready to make the jump and transition into aviation. Carl is a real aviation industry expert and knows his stuff. He’s also the career coach you want with resources you need, like free and comprehensive scholarship guides. I also appreciate that he’s down to earth and matter-of-fact and has figured out how to be motivational without being a “ra ra” type. If you are thinking about an aviation career, this is the guy you need to check out.

    Great Podcast!
I’ve been looking for an aviation podcast for quite a while and through this podcast, I found a few more! I’m an aspiring AMT and starting school this Fall and this podcast has great info! I heard about your podcast from Cassidy Moore, who you recently interviewed. That was a great interview as well! Keep up the great work and I look forward to listening to many more episodes, thanks!

    Inspiring
I’m 25 years old and dropped out of college due to family issues, I have my PPL and some 350 hours of flight time. This podcast is motivating that I’m not too late to the industry to fly again someday, just have to pay off this mortgage of student debt

    Too much advertisement
I subscribed to this podcast with high hopes and the first episode I listened to forced me to delete the podcast and unsubscribe because the first 7 minutes were just this guy talking about his advertisements. Not a very professional podcast.

    Aspiring airline pilot
I love this podcast! I’m a 25 year old CFI working my way to the airlines. Been listening to this for the past year. I have learned so much from this podcast.

    Inaccurate titles
Not a bad podcast and has some good information, but the titles and podcast content are misleading. They will put a very interesting title on the episode, then spend 35 of the 50 minutes pitching their paid career services and soliciting donations.

    Positive & Helpful
This podcast was a great discovery for me. Get unstuck and stay inspired and optimistic- thanks Carl!

    Insider Knowledge about Aviation Jobs
WIth more than 25 years experience in aviation, host and commercial airline pilot Carl Valeri knows his industry. The conversations about careers, jobs and money in this long running show, are detailed, focused and full of insider knowledge. Whatever your job or length of service in the aviation sector, you'll get advice you can use. And Carl's friendly, amiable manner makes th this podcast an enjoyable listen, too.

    Helpful and Entertaining
As a foreign pilot this podcast has been the perfect tool for me to learn all about the aviation industry in the US, without it I'd be totally lost. Thank you Carl Valeri and guests, not only have you inspired and educated me but your gentle tones have been able to put my two month old baby to sleep without fail, enabling me to focus on converting my license and getting a job. Cheers

    I love this podcast
As an older private pilot looking to get into the flying part of aviation as a second career, this is the best podcast I've come across and can't wait for each recording. The tips, the 'telling it to you straight' insight is refreshing and encouraging. If you're interested in the aviation field, this is THE podcast to listen to.

A MUST listen for experienced and wanna-be pilots
Are you unsure on which aviation career to choose? Do you want to be a CFI? Go to the airline? Be a contract pilot? Join the military? Are you thinking about jumping ship from your corporate job? You must listen to this podcast. Whatever research you have done is inadequate. Only Carl can fill in the gaps on what you think you know or don't know about aviation careers. You have no idea on how many options are out there until you listen. Carl knows what he is talking about. I find this podcast informative AND motivating.
  • Philbert81
    I would not recommend
As a regional airline pilot I get upset when people tell me that low pay is not the reason for the pilot shortage at the regional level. When I was a flight instructor half the guys I worked with ended up not going to the airlines because the pay, and the ones who did go to the airlines half of them left because of pay and a hostile management. Mr Valeri is probable one of those guys that would vote for a bad contract and terrible pay just to fly shiny jets. Don't listen to this guy and DONT go to the regional airlines till the pay and conditions get better.

    Love This Podcast
I love listening to this podcast, it is an incredible resource for anyone looking to make a career in aviation. Carl provides a lot of insight into a career field that can often seem shielded to outsiders.

    Definitely A Must Listen
Carl does a fantastic job educating his listeners on the ins and outs of the aviation career field. This is a podcast that anyone interested in or already working in aviation should listen to. Great podcast!!!!
This is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to!! Very informative and helpful!!!
  • Av8inblue
Great inspiration and advice for all aviators.
You will find expert advice in many traditional aviation career paths and a whole lot more you never even thought existed! Just as important, you will find inspiration and motivation to go out and find your aviation career. Take the time to go back and listen to all the episodes; there is something to be learned in each one. Excellent host, guests and a great podcast!
  • Mark and Beth Jones Jr.
Great inspiration even for a veteran pilot.
They say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I've listened to some stories and think, "man, I'd love to do that." But I've been blessed with an amazing aviation career as well. I also find that in the lives of successful people have common elements, and hearing how these guests succeed gives me insight on how to keep moving forward in my life as well. I really think what Carl is doing is a great idea, and he is doing a great job of it.
  • Newbie pilot
    Great idea for unmet need
While I listen to a number of aviation podcasts, none really focus on the aviation industry and specifically job opportunities. Your insight based on your diverse experience is very valuable. I hear all the time, how do we get more people involved in aviation? Well a big obstacle is information on the variety of jobs associated with aviation. Not everybody wants to or can be a pilot. Your podcast will hopefully open some eyes so that a person can have their cake and eat it to. Namely, combining their passion for aviation with a means of providing for their family. Thanks and I look forward to future podcasts.
