The views of each person in this group are just different enough to offer something for every Transformers fan. These are real fans doing the thing that real fans do and real fans will appreciate that. Be warned....some of the tips and tricks you'll learn here will create a little larger hole in your bank account. Give a listen and enjoy!

I really enjoyed this podcast because of their positive outlook with official Hasbro products. After listening to their SDCC coverage I was shocked by how negative they were responding to the new line of product, even though most of it hasn’t been revealed yet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but the “F” John Warden comment was uncalled for. It amazes me how they can praise the design team for the Titans return line and then want the whole team to lose their jobs for making characters that people love and will sell well at retail.

I give up. Brian and Chris are completely against the 3rd party market and want it to fail. Yet they hide behind the veneer of just "being worried about their business practices and the market failing". You two weiners have been predicting the fall of the market since its inception. And yet, the market is stronger than ever. You collect what you like and as long as your happy, that's all that matters. Sound familiar? Maybe try taking your own advice.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how the "Being Awesome" cast keeps getting made. If I figured in a rating for that, you'd get 3 stars. That dude is boring, unorganized and almost as entertaining as watching an infomercial for spray-on hair. Every week, I try to listen and can't stand the guy for more than 5 minutes. The main show, however, is AWESOME. "Being Awesome" is not.

These guys are awesome and make an awesome podcast for transformers fans. Every podcast is fun and awesome quality.

This is the OG of not just Transformers, but all podcast. I've been listening to Brian Kilby since dial up & Real players lol. His crew come through week after week with their take on what's new in the world of Transformers. Not much comic talk but that's fine with me that usually only serves as spoilers. If you love the Transformers you will definitely subscribe after one listen.

A really great podcast! All the guys really know their Transformers and are a blast to listen to! Tons of news, reviews, and laughs! I have to say, 5 stars doesn't seem like enough.

Never really was one for podcasts...but one show a couple years ago and I've never missed a week!

Great pod, super fun and you should always watch on youtube for the pre & after show. Great group of guys and non-cunty unlike another TF podcast I can think of... Like these guys on FB and they even are fan interactive and have a slew of other podcasts that are just as enjoyable. A must watch for anyone in the fandom (caveat: Brian I did what you asked! can I please have my Onslaught and/or the release my family?)

Simply the best Transformers news show around.

This is a long overdue review, because this podcast has been going strong long before I knew what a podcast was. I've been listening weekly for several years now, and it hasn't stopped being informative and entertaining. Certainly worth all five stars if you're a fan of all things Transformers.

I really wanted to love this pod, and as a Transformer fan, I was pleased to see that there are podcasts out there that cover this subject. I expected more though. The audio is ok at best. It sounds as though the presenters are going through Skype and are using thier PC mics to record the pod. A good mic would go very very far in bringing up the quality of the show. From a group that buys hundred dollar Transformers, I would have throught they would set aside some cash to get some decent recording mics. Look at Shure, you can get a decent one for $50. The content was ok again. I expected to hear a more organized group, rather than a bunch of buddies talking, which can be ok at times (SMODco shows) but there was a 5 minute trail off of one of the presenters messing with his cat on-air. It was distracting, not funny, and amature. The chemistry seemed forced, the jokes not funny, and some sophmore sexual humor that was lame at best. Needs improvement, but has potential.

After a two years of listening I'm ready to give a review, you guys are awesome. I appreciate your insight on transformers and also your knowledge of transformers fandom. I consider myself new to collecting transformers, I started after fall of cybertron. I hope to meet up with you guys one day, keep up the good work. Yours truly, Kevin A

I love that you guys have alot shows for me to get my transformers. I like the comraderie that you have. I went to amazon and bought the audio system for our shows so I totally support RFC and think any transformers fan will have a great time

Radio Free Cybertron is an excellent Transformers podcast! It was the first Transformers podcast, and one of the first podcasts, debuting in 1999. I've been listening to it on and off since shortly after the debut.

If your a transformer's fan and not listening to RFC do yourself a favor and start now!

Love the podcast guys, and all the extras each week. Definitely more TF talk than the other two that I also listen to, without half of the podcast being about "off topic" crap that I didn't come to listen for (here's looking at you Vangelus). One complaint tho, and this has to do with the tformers website as I don't know of another way to contact you guys...the past week or so, your website is ABSOLUTELY PLAGUED WITH POPUPS that try and take me in 3-4 directions as well as open iTunes on my phone. I do not have this issue anywhere else, so it's not on my end. PLEASE FIX THIS, because currently I cannot and will not visit your site until it's been fixed.

Radio Free Cybertron Show - A good show to listen to for all things TF related. I wish they focused a little more on the toys, but overall I like the discussions and the voices. There Goes My Money - Like the idea, but not the execution. Seems like it needs a format; preorder of the week, preorder to be most cautious about, Preorder to keep an eye on, third party company making the most strides with their preorders, etc.... Each segment needs a little music intro to seem more professional. Rob Spring Is Awesome - Simply put, terrible. Mini Cast - Mixed bag after the first 3 or 4 episodes. I liked the first few, but not so much the last few. Keep up the good work.

Great podcast for transformers fans. My only complaint is it seems like not everyone on the cast gets a turn at speaking.

Good show. Love the host and Don. Gets a little high end snobby. I'd like more depth to transformers lore and really like the history. However...Rob Springer is awful! I don't think he deserves his own segment. His humor is stupid and low brow. One episode whee the went on and on about a smoking joke was unlistenable. The shoe is way better when he's not there.

The longest running and arguably greatest Transformers podcast. Available as a live video with audience participation, or as a standard audio podcast. The production values are excellent, among the best of any podcast I have listened to. I really appreciate the clean language, which also makes this show unique among its peers. I've listened regularly for years, and see no reason to stop. Keep up the good work!

I've only recently started watching the show, but I look forward to the live stream every week. Brian is the fast-talking host that excels at keeping the conversation on track. I began listening to the RFC maybe 30 episodes ago. The hosts really enjoy the hobby and it shows--the chemistry is perfect and each personality shines on its own. The show is basically a group of friends talking about the toys they've all loved since childhood (with a steady flow of friendly jabs at eachother, too). You really get the feeling that you're listening in on the same conversations they'd be having even if not another soul were tuned in. RFC is also the only podcast I listen to which is completely unhindered by business, politics, or controversy (okay, maybe a little controversy--B.O.T.? Really?). It's a refreshing slice nostalgia and geeky fun!

Great mix of people and always entertaining. A must even if your only mildly interested in transformers

RFC is a great listen from week to week. Brian and his group of veteran and newbie Transformers fans bring a fun, outgoing, and honest look at everything Transformers; from toys to TV to comics to community to movies and more! The pre-recorded bits are fantasic as well, particularly Q&A with "Robo" Rob Springer and the comics reviews. The TV episode reviews can get a little long in the tooth, overstating events in the shows an giving more of a longwinded recap than an actual review. Fortunately, those are in hiatus at the moment. Overall, worth the weekly geekly listen. And one great note, not only is RFC the original Transformers podcast, it holds the great distinction of being one of the first podcasts ever!

I've been listening to this podcast for almost a year now, and I haven't gotten tired of it. I love listening to the guys talk about the many different figures that are out there. Also they make me laugh to the point where it hurts to laugh, and like people always say: laughter is the best medicine. If you're looking for a good Transformers podcast, please give this one a listen. It's the best podcast in the history of podcasts.

The brilliant part about this show is that the casual TF fan or the fan that gets into the minutia of TF lore can enjoy this show. There is audience participation in the Google + hangouts and when possible they answer questions. There is even a comedic element at times that makes it fun to go back and listen to older episodes even though the news is old. Also they don't just cover the news they do have topics and features that they discuss. Good fun for most any TF Fan.

If your a hardcore transformer fan, this is the podcast for you. There is a welcomed diversity of hosts that cover all of the latest news and give their opinions. This includes upcoming releases from Hasbro, Takara, and third party companies. Along with latest Transformer comics, and retro reviews of some of your favorite classic and new Transformer cartoons. Its a great format I enjoy!

I listen to several Transformers podcasts, and each one does something a little different. What sets this one apart is its pre-edited features, which help elevate the show above being just a group of talking heads. The banter is fun, as well, but I do take a point off for one semi-regular who seems unable to say anything that isn't a cynical dig against some portion or another the Transformers franchise. One wonders why he's even on a show dedicated to it.

This show has been really informative as I've become a bigger part of the fandom over the past few months. Had to go back, and I'm still loving the episodes from years ago! Funny, and you can sense the passion these guys have for what they're talking about. It's the only podcast I listen to.

Without a doubt, the "lesser" of Transformer podcasts I listen to. Not quite as entertaining as other shows, and the lack of knowledge of some subjects prevents them from being considered informative. Amy's comic section is generally the best part of the show. It's not terrible at all, but there are certainly better alternatives out there.

My favorite podcast out there. I love how informative and fun Brian, Xvee, JD, Amy, John, and everyone. are as a crew. I first discovered the show this past summer and look forward to every single episode. It has a solid format, rather than other podcasts that just ramble on and on. Even still, I do love the tangental topics and wish each episode could stay between 90-120 minutes. And Rewind is pure gold. I say the gang has definitely kept my love for all incarnations of the franchise going. Thanks for the show and please keep it going forever.

Even though RFC has been around for 13 years (!) I only recently began listening on a regular basis. I normally don't have a lot of time for podcasts these days but I make sure to try and fit them in as often as I can. Usually not as crass as some other Transformer podcasts I really enjoy the content of the show on a weekly basis. Although I have found I often need to skip over the comic reviews because I'm never caught up on my reading and I do enjoy a good surprise. Brian and the group often bring an eclectic mix to the show and you can tell they love what they do. I highly recommend this to any new or veteran TF fan who is looking to add a podcast to their weekly hobby activities. Keep up the good work!
