Best new X-Files podcast!

I’m a big baby! Listening to these episodes makes me brave enough to watch the spooky show 💪🏻 Obviously the hosts and LaToya are excellent. The amount of research and info they bring into the episodes is incredible

Hey, please don’t flood this feed with Podcasts from another show. It makes it very difficult to find the ex files shows I want. Can’t you just leave those in the buffering cast feed? I would totally give you a five star review if you would just stop doing that.

Buffering the Vampire Slayer was a favorite and Jenny and Kristin continue to delight us with their X-Files series. My wife and I recently finished the series, including the two 2010’s seasons. It is nice to go back to earlier seasons where there was still fun to experience.

I love the X-Files and I love this podcast. Nothing better than laughing my head off on the running path while listening to these two exes.

I loved their Buffy and their ex-files does not disappoint!!! Literally the only reason I’m just now watching the x-files and it’s so fun. I’m at the point where when I watch, I notice things that Jenny or Kristin might comment on, and have that urge to text them as if they are my actual friends.

It doesn’t matter that I’m not a huge fan of the xfiles. These are some of my favorite lesbians and def my fave that used to be married to each other and are currently divorced but doing a podcast together

Kristin and Jenny have made me laugh, they’ve made me cry. They’re just great. This is some quality 90s tv recap action with excellent and democratic analysis of the smuldering sexual tension (chortles).

I was so glad to find this podcast just as I was starting an X-Files rewatch! Perfect timing and the show is so much fun. The next best thing to having someone to discuss the show with.

K&J do a great job looking at my favorite show with fresh eyes and it is a pleasure to experience the show this way. Special episodes featuring real world experts help the audience look deeper into subjects like how people in the prison system are represented in pop culture.

Kristin and Jenny are entertainers who spend a lot of time prioritizing their audience’s experience. They aren’t just two acquaintances gabbing while you awkwardly eaves drop — they are your two best friends animatedly discussing something and the door is always open for you to chime in. They have the banter of two people who have known one another a long time and because of that it feels like you know them too. I’ve listened to their work since their early days and am a deeply dedicated fan. Give this one a try if you love friendship and inclusion and silly silly joy.

I’m absolutely loving this podcast even tho I’ve only seen a handful of X Files and definitely don’t know the show well. I’m not watching along but the hosts make sure I have all the background I need to get the jokes and to get excited for The Possibility Of A Future Smooch

Been listening since the Buffy podcast (i remember driving to my PSAT listening to the first episode :0 ) and i have never seen X Files. These two are great and am excited to continue the adventure with them!

I was a loyal Buffering listener as a huge Buffy fan. Over those 7 seasons and myriad bonus episodes, I fell absolutely in love with Kristin and Jenny’s podcasting style. It’s like hanging out with friends that don’t hear you when you talk back. So I decided to give The Ex Files a try even though I was not a loyal The X Files viewer. I didn’t even start watching until 1996 or so. Now I get to watch episodes of a show that I grew to love with podcasters that I adore. Can’t wait for The Bell House!

But doing it with two of my favorite hosts was too good to pass up

Kristen and Jenny are incredible and conscientious entertainers. I’ve never walked away from an episode less than thrilled to have spent an hour with them.

So stoked that my favourite rewatch podcasters are watching my favourite show! I’ve be been resisting the urge to binge, and watching week by week along with the pod has been delightful. Love that Kristin become a Mulder/Scully shipper basically immediately. Do I wish they were doing song for every episode, like they did with Buffy? Yes I do. Do I understand why they decided not to? Also, yes. Can’t wait for the future character jingles that I assume are coming.

I love watching this classic series with with Jenny & Kristin! The podcast is a blast, and I love hearing producer LaToya share her point of view as well. I look forward to this pod each Wednesday.

I’ve never seen The X-Files before and it’s been a blast getting to experience it for the first time with Kristin and to hear the dynamic of a long-time fan with someone who is new to the show. I’m loving the discussions so far and am just thrilled to get Jenny and Kristin in my ears almost every week!

I previously binged the x-files, but am loving this week to week rewatch with who have become two of my favorite humans. I adore all of that they do. 💗💗💗

I followed K&J over from Buffy and am watching The X Files for the first time along with Kristin. I like their takes on the characters and story lines and the extra conversations they have about the relevant issues. Definitely check them out

I’ve been wanting to rewatch the x-files for years and this pod gave me the perfect excuse! Love Kristen and Jenny, the jingles, the crystal ball and the Scully love. Also appreciate producer Latoya’s takes and the overall balance of fun to serious.

This is my first xfiles watch and Jenny and Kristin keep me fully engaged and on the edge of my seat waiting for what will come next. From incredible jingles to sexual tension awards to amazing and nuanced conversations about the death penalty to interviews with Eve-6, there is something here for everyone. Love this pod!

Won’t say I was a devoted X-Files fan back in the day, but I introduced some friends to Buffy in ‘97 and they in turn introduced me to X-Files (already well into whatever season that was). Enjoyed it muchly, but have forgotten a LOT. So this is great to remember all the fun. Can’t wait for more of the mythology arc.

I have longed to rewatch X-Files alongside a podcast and to get to do it with Kristin and Jenny makes it a dream come true! Love every episode and looking forward to many more! The pod is out there! 🛸👽

The XFiles was one of my favorite shows growing up. This podcast duo is my favorite podcast. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars

was already a buffy fan when i found buffering, but like kristin this is my first time watching the x files and i am loving having this podcast and community surrounding it to keep me company on the watch. i really appreciate the thoughtfulness of this team in their coverage so far 💕
