Add this podcast to your toolkit
I love listening to the podcast. I briefly collected Warhammer 40K in the late 90s during middle school and returned to the hobby at the beginning of Covid lockdowns in 2020. I’m now fully invested with a dedicated workspace, paint racks, and an ever growing stack. I wish I had the podcast when I returned to the hobby! I would have avoided so many early mistakes. Your advice has helped me become a more focused and efficient painter. Most importantly the messages of positivity have really helped motivate me to keep painting while juggling work and a young infant. Thank you for all you do for the Warhammer community.

    My Review
The Siege Studios Podcast is a delightful blend of painting tutorials and comedic banter that keeps listeners engaged while honing our miniature painting skills. Hosted by three contrasting personalities—one begrudgingly essential to the podcast's existence, one a fervent instigator of debates, and the final one to keep the show on target—the show offers a unique and entertaining take on the art of miniature painting. Content-wise, the podcast delivers valuable insights into painting techniques without relying on edge highlighting (the sprue choice was not really a winner), which is refreshing given the contentiousness of that method among hobbyists. From base coating to shading and weathering, the hosts provide clear and practical advice for painters of all skill levels. While one host may grumble about being stuck in their essential role, their expertise shines through, offering invaluable tips and tricks to listeners eager to improve their craft. What truly sets this podcast apart is its comedic element. The banter between the hosts is genuine and infectious, creating a lighthearted atmosphere that makes learning feel like a joyous journey rather than a tedious task. Despite one host's apparent reluctance to be there, their chemistry with the more assertive counterpart drives the show forward, injecting humor into every discussion and keeping listeners entertained from start to finish. Overall, the Siege Studios Podcast strikes the perfect balance between educational content and comedic flair. Whether you're a seasoned painter looking to refine your skills or a novice eager to learn the basics, this podcast offers something for everyone. So, sit back, relax, and let the hosts guide you through the wonderful world of miniature painting—with a side of laughter guaranteed along the way.

    The perfect painting podcast
I’m so glad I found this podcast! Every episode is unique where I can skip around to what topics I like (turns out every episode is great!). I find myself listening in the car, while painting, or just lounging around. The best part of the show isn’t that I get tons of useful tips or ideas, which I do, but that I get so inspired to paint listening! Thank you

    Fantastic painting podcast
Look, as an American, I’ll be the first to admit I don’t fully understand all the references they make on the show. (Refreshers? TK Max? Bonne Maman? I’m pretty sure this is the English language but I’ve got no clue what they’re saying) - But you don’t need to understand all the references to understand that this is: 1) a top tier painting podcast and 2) that each of the hosts has their own delightfully unhinged opionions on things that will have you laughing with the other two.

    Chemistry isn’t just for paint
If you’re a miniature hobbyist you’re probably familiar with all the heavy hitters, well prepare to add another team to your roster. The guys at Siege Studios offer real, concrete tips and tricks to tackle the hobby. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a day one beginner all bases are covered, as long as the rims are black (one last mention, sorry guys). But it’s not just gear advice and paint choice, although there is plenty on offer; the Siege Studio podcast also covers more abstract topics like getting out of your comfort zone, motivation and allowing yourself to have fun like only professional painters can provide. Grab a brush, fill your rinse cup and let Siege Studios make your far future a little less grim.

Great painters, great show that’s actually about painting
This is an awesome show and podcast. Love listening to these guys when I’m hobbying. I really appreciate that they are skilled and articulate enough to actually share helpful tips and practices for experienced painters. They are wrong about oil and enamel paints but hey, maybe they just haven’t used them enough! Joking of course, that methodology is admittedly outside of their super clean Eavy Metal style and I can appreciate that. Keep up the great work gents, thanks for sharing your high end painting techniques!

    S Tier
I listen to many painting pods and most of them are really good. This one, however, is the S Tier Gold Standard of painting pods. They’re humorous, informative, organized, have really good chemistry and I can listen to them with the kids in the car without having to worry about a bunch of F bombs being thrown about. If you’re not listening to these guys you’re missing out. Cheers fellas from the US, and thank you for this outstanding content!
