I couldn’t care less about one’s private life as I hope others feel likewise. I’m certain they do. It’s funny, the very thing they thought would allow you to be singled out is the same thing that shows everyone to what level your messages obviously threaten the current power structure.

I have found Glenn’s perspective to be very interesting. So much so that I subscribed to support him. However, recently the number and frequency of the advertisements on his podcast has increased beyond my tolerance to listen no matter how interesting.

Glenn Greenwald is an actual journalist. Someone who’s broke stories with global impact, exposing and holding accountable centers of power. He’s faced genuine political persecution because of this but sticks to his guns. He sticks to classic leftist politics like anti imperialism, freedom of speech as a first principle and intelligent debate to reveal truth behind media narratives. He often references Noam Chomsky to underscore this point more. While the above is true, he still does not squarely fit into the idealogical boundaries that divide today’s dominant party system. Strong civil libertarianism, and even when i disagree i can’t deny the tenability of his arguments and positions. Great journalist, great podcast, please subscribe

I can’t think of any other commentators who so consistently advocate the cause of free speech regardless of the political context. So many others selectively interpret and defend free speech when it suits them, but discard it in other contexts. Greenwald is the real deal

One of the last honest journalists out there. I love listening to him. You know he has his convictions and sticks to them. He reports honestly and actually speaks truth to power wether you agree with him or not. I respect this man and the job he’s doing. We need a lot more like him. I will continue to support you! Glenn please also give an honest assessment of Trump through his term. I can’t keep listening to this level of bias as it’s becoming overly apparent. How can Trump be an “anti war hero” while threatening war on Panama, annexing Canada and giving Israel the keys to have free rein?

As an independent I appreciate hearing both sides of the issues but just can’t handle being talked down to so arrogantly for such long periods of time. I wish I could get the content without the condescension. Also crediting Obama for covering up the origins of Covid was a bridge too far and exposed his own biases.

Glenn loves to play this antiestablishment role while supporting the new incoming establishment of Peter Theil and the pay pal mafia. He’s a full blown loyalist to rumble witch is funded by Theil. He likes to think that if trump wins he will get closer to trump and his sons. Don’t let Glenn fool you.

I’ve been following Greenwald since Edward Snowden became a whistleblower. He tells it plainly, while standing up to powerful forces who generally hate his guts. Greenwald reports from a principled and ethical perspective, and does the job that we should expect from all good journos, but unfortunately it’s so goddamn rare.

Glenn refuses to look away from uncomfortable facts that most journalists ignore when it comes to the party they represent. A true independent despite great and growing threats

Glenn doesn’t always get it right, but there is no doubt he’s transparent about his values, methods, and biases towards issues. Most importantly, he is fearless in his reporting about very scary topics. Love you, Glenn and team. You guys are heros!

He can be counted on to give a straight up take on modern world politics he is consistent, insightful and full of the real journalistic integrity that is completely absent in the majority of the media landscape. I’m not a religious man, but if there is a god then he certainly put Glenn Greenwald here at this precise time and place as countervailing force against the corrupt and greedy sickness engendered by the world’s ruling elite. He is one of the most consistent, principled, well-respected journalists of our time, and in this world of dubious information, Glenn is a touchstone to the fabled “golden age”, when Americans could trust their favorite anchor. I also love Michael Tracey. It’s funny to read the reviews on here from people who don’t feel the same way haha. I see how he might be an acquired taste for some, but man…. That guy is a true journalist as well. Knowledgeable, tenacious, and fearless in his interviews, he gets more out of politicians than would seem possible to do. I consider System Update to be the cornerstone of my well-balanced news diet, and I can’t recommend it enough to people of all nationalities and political persuasions. The news is supposed to be the foundation of a well-informed populace, and it’s supposed to expose the doings of the powerful for the benefit of the powerless. That’s exactly what this show does.

Glen is foremost supporter of free speech. Impeccable documentation, researched as no other journalist; the highest regard, the best resource, the highest accolades. Has anyone noticed the new Biden Chief of Staff? When asking who is making decisions…we might try to learn who is Chief of Staff.

Glen, I love your show, and listen daily while I’m at work. I listen to you because you’re honest, you tell it like it is. Any other day you would get five stars, but not today. You obviously don’t support DJT, as I do, but you make it a point to expose the lies that the MSM tell about him on a daily basis. So why?? Why would you go away on vacation, and leave the show in the hands of someone who does exactly what you despise?? Michael Tracy is a hater. He is telling lies and half truths, and in your name. He’s hurting your brand.

Small quibble from today’s podcast. Adam Smith is not a DC congressman. He is from Washington State. Media is often careless with calling DC Washington and obviously sometimes see Washington Congressman and think DC.

I listen to news podcasts from different parties and positions. Glenn Greenwald stands heads and shoulders above them all. In addition to being a brilliant analyst, he also never hesitates to boldly speak from his chest and say what’s true — combine that courage with his uncompromised ethics and the result is truly stunning in this era of careerist snakes & partisan hacks. It amazes me how often he says something I also think but no other podcaster has said or how often he helps me understand something from a fresh, smart perspective. Unbiased. Honest. Ethical. Humble.
