Echoes of Eden: A Messianic Torah Study

11
Judaism #104

Echoes of Eden is a comprehensive year-long study of the first five books of the Bible (the Torah or Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). Dr. Chad Foster will make use of his background to explore these fundamental books of the Bible from a uniquely Hebraic centered perspective. Be prepared to understand these books and some of their familiar events in a brand new light. A major goal of the study will be to show how the stories in the Torah are not only one-time historical occurrences undergone by individuals a very long time ago. Rather, these historical stories are also archetypal in nature, representing various physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual realities within each and every person in each and every generation.

    Evil
Chad Foster and the messianic Jewish teachings are misleading at best. That is what is truly evil. He claims to be a 1st century expert but has no qualifications to back up the claims. The claims in this podcast need extensive evidence and the evidence. Trust actual scholars not fake ones that puff themselves up like this guy

If you want the Bible to change your life
This is a teacher who can help you understand the Bible enough to let the Bible transform your life. During the 7 years I have listened to Pastor Chad’s teaching, so far, I have gone through several stages: 1- Sometimes skeptical but always intrigued by what he was saying 2- Starting to see it’s all true, feeling like the words of the Bible are jumping off the page as I read them, so excited about Bible study 3- Things are really starting to make sense and I am seeing some of my questions being answered 4- Truly seeing God and the world differently than I did before 5- Life itself is better, and I have more shalom and see God in everything It is not a quick or easy process, but it is totally worth it, AND there’s so much for you even in the early stages of studying with Pastor Chad. I encourage you to dig in. You'll also realize that things you never even saw when reading the Bible as a Christian are actually some of the keys.

    Must see!
Pastor Chad Foster gives an interesting, in depth explanation of the first 5 books of the Bible. His presentation always leaves you wanting more. I highly recommend this series for all Christians to watch and learn the Torah. You won’t be disappointed. Robert Menard

Torah for Beginners and Torah for the Familiar
I have followed Dr. Chad's Torah Lessons for approximately 10 years. I met him while attending a retreat. From the beginning, I was curious. How could all of the teachings of Jesus be found in the Old Testament? How does one make sense of synthesizing a Christian worldview and a Jewish worldview? There may be times when you find the teachings to be puzzling or challenging. Hang in there, it's worth the time and energy to seek to understand what is being taught and how it can change your life.
