    Short and helpful
I’m the type of podcast listener who loves a shorter podcast episode to listen to while I’m doing a few errands or driving to pick up my kid at school. Therapist JoAnne Robb delivers impactful and helpful information in short bursts- I love it! I love how much practical advice is in each episode and how it’s real-life problems that t1d parents deal with all the time. I can’t wait for new episodes since I’m always learning…great find that was recommended by a good friend!

    Amazing Support!
This podcast provides amazing support for parents of children with T1D. JoAnne’s style is realistic, empathetic, and smart. I particularly enjoy the conversational nature of the episodes; they feel like you’re listening in on a relatable therapy session rather than sitting through a lecture. You’ll end each episode feeling seen and empowered. What a great resource for the T1D community!

    It takes a village!
Listening to JoAnne responses to real parents’ questions about the challenges of raising a child with type 1 diabetes is comforting, reassuring, and uplifting. It’s a reminder that we are not alone on this journey, that we can find the support we need, and that there are good people along the way to help us out. JoAnne is like your best friend therapist fellow T1D mom all in one. A worthwhile listen and a great resource.

    Terrifically valuable
I have been a diabetic since being a teenager. I never had the support and guidance which JoAnne’s Sweet Talks provide. They have a positive impact which is obvious by the responses of the participants. Cannot recommend more highly.

    Highly recommend!
It’s been 13 years since my son’s T1D diagnosis at age 4 and yet I still learned so much listening to this podcast! We learned a lot about diabetes management at diabetes family camp, but this podcast fills in how to deal with the parenting and psychosocial aspects of diabetes management. Which is often forgotten about and yet the hardest part of it all. A valuable and much needed resource!

    Should be called straight talk!
This is a realistic look at the emotions and coping techniques that can keep you calm in the T1 storm. The host is very experienced, articulate and no-nonsense. I urge you to try it out—your family, your stress levels, and your child’s compliance and learning journey will be all the smoother.
