Just found Cody Rich this past elk season and have been hammering pretty much every podcast he has available. Not only is he very informative, but it's a great tool to find other elk hunters that are loaded with hunting knowledge and others that are just getting started out as well. Can't get enough.

Cody has a gift for interviewing, has awesome guests on, and I always come away with a nugget of wisdom to take into the mountains.

When I discovered Cody compiled his best elk hunting podcasts on one platform I was thrilled. I no longer have to weed through other podcasts to find elk topics. It’s also really interesting to hear/see how tactics have changed over the years. This is my top podcast now!

I have listened to Cody’s podcasts for years now. The information is just amazing and has truly help me become a better elk hunter. This podcast has more tactical hunting information and hunting stories than any other elk hunting podcast I have listened to. My favorite part to these podcasts is that Cody talks with experienced elk hunters in each western states. If you’re hunting Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon, or Nevada there will most likely be a related podcast on hunting elk there.

The information and people Cody puts in these podcasts is second to none! No matter what you’re trying to hunt or the information you’re wanting to gain, Cody has you covered! He finds the absolute best of the best and the information they share helps you step up your game! This isn’t some average joe sharing his first elk hunt, these are veterans who’ve put in blood sweat and tears to help us all become better! Couldn’t ask for a better hunting podcast!

Cody has years of experience and does a great job asking his guest the right questions. The guest’s are great also from Paul Medal ElkNut dropping so much knowledge you will have to listen to it multiple times to his buddy Shawn Melland, along with countless others. Cody has consistently delivered content with real value that I have applied in September to not only increase my odds of punching a tag but also to enRich the experience.

Cody has been curating creative content more consistently than almost anyone out there. After listening for six years, I’m still pumped when something is released. He brings the best guests, entertains the best conversations and wants his listeners to be the best they can. Not a podcast out there I would recommend more than Elk Hunt and The Rich Outdoors. PS his patreon content is well worth the quarter a day or whatever it comes out to be.

The podcast is focused on learning about elk, Elk hunting, elk behavior and how to kill one… but also about truly rad mountain adventures and learning how to make your passion of getting out on dream hunts a reality. Highly recommend!

Cody is one of the best conversation hosts I’ve listened to and interacted with. He knows what questions to ask and when to ask them which results in the most information being shared in an entertaining manner. A lot of people listen to Andy F, Jocko, Gary V for motivation. I listen to Cody for the simple fact he’s a down home dude with tenacious drive and goals. Plain and simple, if learning how to kill elk can be done without actually going and doing it, this is the podcast for you.

Cody and his guest provide tips and tactics for a wide variety of elk hunting styles. Over the years, I’ve added many things to my play book because his podcast. It’s truly made me a better elk hunter. It’s a must listen if you haven’t killed a bull yet or have been in the elk woods for years.
