The way the stories are told are gripping and keep you hooked. I also personally find the narrator’s voice very relaxing.

If you like less than average creepy-pastas over true crime or true horror stories in general, this is the Podcast for you. I don’t think it’s right to say you are reading “True” or even “Allegedly True” stories when it’s blatantly obvious that a solid 90% of these stories are not. Most of them sound like they were written in a middle school creative writing class.

Feel like I should talk about how your voice gives me feelings and how I know your life story though I’ve never met you and how I sleep in my basement with hundreds of pictures of you surrounding me like everyone else does. But that’d be weird. Just want to say I enjoy drifting off to the willowy grasping arms of slumber-land hearing about a 7 foot bipedal canine with the screaming face of a man stretched across it’s hairless fetid skull, because I’m totally normal.

I enjoy listening to this podcast while toiling away at my desk job. Great way to tune out office nonsense. Darkness Prevails has a soothing voice that makes my day a little bit easier.

I have been a listener since 2018-2019 following your skin-walker stories on YouTube. This began the unhealthy but extremely entertaining addiction of going down the horror rabbit-hole. You are an incredible story-teller and I’m so glad you have been getting the content from so many amazing individuals willing to tell their stories! 10/10 stars DP even though I can only give 5/5.

I am a dog groomer and usually have headphones in to listen to things at work. I used to mainly listen to music but the past year I’ve been obsessively listening to this podcast. It’s my absolute favorite!!

It’s phenomenal I’m so amazed by it’s not TO scary but it still can scare you.

Darkness Prevails brings to life each story submitted by his listeners. I must say these stories take the statement “My job is a nightmare” and run with it! Truly terrifying and you will tune in every week.

Hey all, First off I wanna say love the channel. Been following you guys for a while now. I came here to address some plot holes that were never addressed in the latest episode of Tales from the Break Room. Specifically Dogman vs The Farmhand. The first one is when he said passed out and woke up the next morning he said he slid his sleeve up and saw his watch and it read “6:07” But then later when he climbed the silo ladder he said he looked at his watch again and said it was almost 6am close to sun up, Contradicting what he said earlier about looking at his watch after waking up from being passed out. The last pothole that i noticed is several times throughout the story he called it a “werewolf” but the title of the story is the Dogman, which in Appalachian folklore is much much much different than a werewolf. I have lived in Appalachia all my life and out of all the stories and myths I’ve heard..there’s one thing that everyone agrees on. It’s that dogman is NOT a werewolf, So my question of the day is which was it? Was it werewolf or dogman?

Amazing podcast! I listen to tales from the brake room and unexplained encounters all the time !they are phenomenal love some of the background noises as well!💯aprove! I recommended this podcast and unexplained encounters to my best friend and now she to is hooked! I never knew that I could find a podcast with a voice like his! The way I find the best Podcasts are b: a) favorite subject matter ☑️; b) the background sound production, professionalism and concert of theme of instrumentals and differentiation of tone of voice of the Podcaster to inflect the feelings of each character at the level of absolute PERFECTION TO MY EARS ☑️; c) story themes are ALWAYS consistent and EVERY EPISODE keeps me hanging on the edge of my bed while gripping onto my big dog like a life vest😳😳☑️; d) His voice is soothing while at the same time clear, personable to me, he pulls me in, and most of all the resonance of his voice relaxes me completely. My ear buds go right in, I put 15 more episodes into my queue, and get ready to be scared “SHEET-LESS” while I fall asleep with the volume on high, my big ginger dog right next to me and my 5 point seat belts securely fastened and I am down for the count in less then maybe …. 4-5 hours because I cannot miss one episode at all!!!!

I just leave El Salvador prison and come to America stinky New York. This radios is stories they told in prison. This lies.

Listened to the latest episode about the guy who worked in the pound and there was a dog there that killed its family in the end…it was taken from another podcast I listen to “Full Body Chills”

For starters the podcast is amazing and darkness prevails is an amazing host but no more guest narrators I kind of have to adjust to each host and it really takes away from the experience but other then that you eerie cast you are doing a great job hope to hear more shows (I listen to more than just this one eerie cast podcast)

Keep these stories coming

Very good podcast overall, only downside is the compilation episodes, I feel like they are so many of them between “tales from the break room”and “unexplained encounters” that’s it’s made me lose interest in either podcast because it’s 5 hours of stories I hear a couple weeks ago, I get a little excited still when I see something new but if I see (compilation) in the title for the episode I don’t even waste my time anymore.

I’m binging all the time. I love it . I love having “me time “ and the voice on him is amazing. Makes me Feel so relaxed and yet scared at the same Time. Love it , recommend it to anyone who asks .

Very annoying and ruins the listening experience

Please no guest hosts. The most recent female guest host does not speak clearly (very hard to understand) and it is very distracting from the story!!

This and The Redwoo should do a crossover of you haven’t already.

This podcast is seriously my absolute favorite. I loved your other show as well but the sound effects made it impossible for me to sleep..so this show gets played a lot.

I honestly don’t know how I’ve ever made it through my work week without this podcast. Great narration and super captivating stories that’ll make your week a lot more tolerable.

This is an entertaining podcast with a majority of creative writing samples. Especially after they started paying for submissions. Worth listening to, but grain of salt required when it comes to truth.

I like this podcast, but in the past 2 episodes there has been another completely different podcast attached to the episode. We didn’t ask for that, it’s like trying to force up to listen to some podcast we don’t care about. If this continues, I’ll just unsubscribe.

Found this podcast within the last month so I’m binging everything. I love the stories but I feel like I’m listening to the same stories over and over. I have to go back and make sure I’m not starting the same episode. And I also notice like others that it skips or plays back a certain part. It’s a little annoying.

I’ve been listening to Tales from the Break Room, as well as Unexplained Encounters for a little more than a year, and I absolutely LOVE THEM. I’ve gotten my phone taken way because I was listening to this 24/7 lol, so I have a lot of episodes to catch up on, so that’s what I’ll be doing for the next who knows how long.

Kind of frustrating these are under “true horror stories” since most of these stories aren’t true but if you like fictionalized horror stories they can be entertaining.

This and your other podcasts have become my absolute favorite! Great story teller & interesting tales! I re-listen to my favorite. Love this podcast. Thanks for doing all of your podcasts & please keep them coming!

It’s probably not the best idea to listen to podcasts while in class, but during my boring work day I always get a kick out of this and unexplained encounters and it can get scary, especially if you work the night shift…

Love this show but does anyone else have an issue with the audio skipping or jumping ahead or jumping back? It feels like the episodes got chopped awkwardly in editing or there may be a software issue but almost every episode skips in some way and I’ll miss out on hearing part of the stories or they continuously repeat the same part.
