this is the most useless appNew comerI discovered this podcast by googling “crime podcasts” (creative, I know). Real popped up as a top podcast to listen to so, obviously, I quickly began listening. The compassion and empathy used to share these stories is portrayed beautifully and felt immensely. Thank you for respecting the families by sharing their story but also protecting the dignity of the victims. Cheers from America Ps love your voice!

urstellarI LOVE IT ❤️First off, I genuinely love this podcast. It is written with class and not crash whatsoever. While having a lovely and soothing voice the narrator cares for the victims as you can tell with the care in her voice. There are also many crimes that I’ve never heard of. While could go on all day about the narrator’s charm and grace, I’d like to get to my Second of all. It’s about a review that was written by a person that calls themselves looski (I think) anyway they a complaint about episode 42. The complaint was basically that the narrator needed a bigger vocabulary and that she should also do more research into her words. Apparently the narrator said that some man would SPORADICALLY knock on the victim’s door. The reviewer took it upon herself to correct the narrator saying that sporadically was the only incorrect word to use and that the narrator should of used randomly. Besides being cruel the reviewer also shared with everyone that she herself needs a bigger vocabulary and definitions to go along with it. You see, random is a synonym for sporadic. Besides proving your not the sharpest knife in the drawer, you gave me (and many others I’m sure) a good laugh. I hope you listen to episode 42 sporadically :)

PunkyfemmedreamzReally greatAn intentional, mindful, considerate, incredibly well researched and exemplary representation of what Real true crime can be. This isn’t murder p*rn or weird comedic take on crime, thank goodness. In fact, Naomi consistently centers the people most harmed in the cases she covers instead of over focusing on the perpetrators. It’s a delicate balance she’s clearly able to handle. I’m newish to the podcast, so don’t know if this has changed, but i really respect her choice to go the independence route to maintain her editorial preferences. Absolutely worth following and learning from this hard work so generously shared 🌸

looskaNarrative is poorly writtenJust listened to episode 42 which was tragic and dramatic. However, I have to share some constructive criticism. At one point the host says the perpetrator sporadically chose to open a door. I think she means randomly. Please have someone edit what you’ve written.

Avonmomof4A fan in Chicago…Been stuck in bed ill for two weeks and binging every true crime podcast I could get my hands on; not all are created equal! I appreciate the uniqueness of your content, the extent of your research/interviews, and the genuine narration you bring to the podcast. Started with the ten-part on Charlene and now listening to all prior episodes. I hope you’ll continue with many more episodes. Well done!

FruityChrisGreat Podcast for JusticeThis was a very well done podcast, where the victim was discussed with kindness and love. The show made me cry for the lack of justice for the family. I hope someday they get answers, even if they don’t get a conviction.
