This show truly is the gold standard of horror podcasting. So much variety of backgrounds and different perspectives and nuanced discussions on all kinds of horror films. The upload schedule might be all over the place at times, but when new episodes release you always know you are in for a treat. Absolutely love this show and everyone involved

I loved the show for some time. It felt like a celebration of Horror. Sadly, my review has moved to 4 stars. 2 newer additions don’t work for me. I dislike leaving less than amazing reviews but I need to be honest. I just can’t get through certain segments. Still some amazing hosts. Some not so amazing imo. One guy hates everything, but at least he can be funny. Another rates in decimals and percentages. Seriously, Who the eff does that? That guy is annoying. He loves talking about himself. I skip anything he is involved with because I simply do not care what he has to say about horror movies. Sorry, not sorry if that’s harsh. Seriously though, does he even like Horror movies??? This was my favorite show to blast through. Now I skip segments, and miss all sorts of things. Nothing lasts forever. HMP 4 Life🤟

Jay of the Dead is a legend in the horror podcasting world. His New Horror Movies show brings together a team of “horror Avengers,” each of whom brings their own unique perspective and knowledge. As the title implies, they focus on new theatrical and VOD/streaming releases. But they also look at older films in segments such as GregaMortis’ Monsters on the Mantle, a look at sci-fi/horror from the 50s and 60s, and Dr. Walking Dead’s Dead Man Still Walking exploration of zombie films throughout history. They delve into themes and trends, and even aspects of horror fandom such as their recent dive into the physical media vs. streaming debate and movie collecting. A very comprehensive horror show with something for virtually any horror fan, from the casual to the analytical.

Been a fan since HMP and I love this podcast besides Ron Martin. When he speaks it ruins the entire show and I don’t want to listen. I quit listening to saw due to him. Please don’t have him on again.

This podcast is PAINSTAKINGLY BORING. Monotone across the board almost entirely. It’s a tough listen even when I love the movie they are talking about

This podcast claims to be the gold standard of horror movies podcasts, and no one can argue with that. The podcast is led by some of the most experienced horror movies podcasters; each of whom have their own specialty segments. I love each segment and I love hearing all of these podcasting legends interact with each other and provide all of their different opinions and perspectives. I’ve heard some of the most thoughtful movie reviews I’ve ever heard on this podcast and, believe me, I listen to A TON of horror movie podcasts. Every time an episode drops, I feel so much excitement knowing I’m about to have 7+ hours worth of discussions revolving around my favorite subject by some of the absolute best in the business. If you’re a horror movie fan, this podcast is an absolute must. 10/10

This an epic, sprawling podcast that features an ensemble cast of well-spoken and insightful horror weirdos. If you’re a horror cinephile, do yourself a favor and listen to it. There’s a lot of value here, too! Never before has a single podcast episode entertained me for so many commutes. Keep up the good work, guys.

What a great idea to have the various members do their own segments. This makes for a great blend of banter at times and informative monologue at other times. It’s a must listen for any lover of horror films.

Jay of the Dead's New Horror Movies is the go to horror podcast. Made up of a who's who in the horror podcasting community (the Avengers of Horror Podcasting) these episodes are a must listen. Each of the hosts have their own segments where they discuss their particular specialty (GregaMortis and his Monsters on the Mantel is my favorite). The episodes are rather lengthy and give me hours of enjoyment. Keep up the great work.

This is definitely one of the best podcasts around. I really enjoy how the segments are broken up to make it easy to listen to. Jay has knocked it out if the park this time with the other podcasters that he has gathered together. Love it!

I love listening to these legends talk about all things horror. It’s definitely my favorite long form podcast. Each segment is broken up nicely so if you need to take a break, it’s easy to do so. I will forever be a fan of this show. Keep up the great work guys.

Jay of the Dead’s New Horror Movies Podcast is one of the most entertaining and interesting cornucopias of podcasts with a number of fun segments that cover the gamut of what horror is out there and if it is worth watching. This podcast is not only enjoyable but also a great resource to horror lovers.

This podcast has a lot of different segments and covers a lot of movies in each episode. There is a cast of many hosts that range from entertaining to insightful. Despite the title they also talk about older movies.

Jay of the Dead and his formidable family of horror co-hosts offer a jam-packed collection of horror movie reviews with each episode. I love the variety and scope including new horror reviews, classics and lesser-known films. Each host offers up their knowledge in a unique segment highlighting their strengths, and the result plays spiritually like a podcast version of a horror magazine. Love it.

This is pretty much a charcuterie board of all of my favorite horror podcasters brought together on one podcast! And, just when I think it can’t get any better Jay adds another segment!

You can try and knock him down but Jay of the Dead just keeps coming back. This new horror podcast feature some of the best hosts in the business that have been keeping me entertained for years. The quality, production and discussions are top notch and you are a horror fan you will not be disappointed.

I got turned on to this show due to Mr. Watson and Jay of the Dead. I knew of the other hosts, but hadn’t gotten to listening to them. This show will change that. So much knowledge and banter that I’m hooked. This is a must listen.

First off this truly is an all star team of horror podcast hosts! They are all unique in there own way and compliment each other so well. Even though I don’t know them personally, they feel like old friends. This is comfort food for the soul. A beacon of beautiful, horrific light through uncertain times. Finding this not a moment too soon, I’m stoked to catch this from episode 1, which was stellar. Thank you to the hosts. 2022 is already better because of this.
