RJC29Love thisSad that I just discovered this pod in 2024, but late is better than never. Love Taylor’s stand-up and this was a great find. Enjoyed every episode 💕

lostsoultooSuch a loser!! (Me, not Taylor)It figures, I don't know how I overlooked this on my last visit even though I *did* save someone ELSE's podcast because it had an episode that *featured* Taylor… but today I came across "Sad in the City"—a month after she had wrapped it up. I think I may start my own podcast and name it "Chasing Taylor." 🤣 The five stars are for TT in general principle, not for the podcast, which it should be obvious I haven't read yet. Catch her wherever/whenever you can, she's a comedy goddess.

AlyncokeRelatableI’ve loved Taylor’s stand up and enjoy the podcast just as much. I love how open and relatable she is and it’s an easy listen that also makes me have many moments of “yes! I’ve totally felt that way too and don’t feel like the only one anymore” 😊
-
Despondent ChuckleheadRefreshingly relatable and funny! LOVE THIS!I’ve always loved Taylor T’s open, honest and vulnerable perspective on everything! I am way past being in my 20’s or 30’s, but think this podcast is totally relatable and funny, and feels like a warm hug. Briana is a great cohost, too. I listen to a lot of comedy podcasts, and this one is better, because it’s like laughing with a good friend. I wish there were more episodes!!!!!

notmichaeljordanNew favorite podcastI’m obsessed with Taylor’s new special Look at you and recently found out she has a podcast. I love it so much. She’s so relatable and funny, and I find myself just chuckling to myself while listening. Normally I listen to podcasts at 2x speed, but I listen to this one at normal speed because I just want it to last as long as possible and prolong catching up on the podcast
-

EmilyRinTXExcellentI am very sad in my new city, and I didn’t know how much I needed this podcast until I found it. I love Taylor’s comedy, and her podcast is just as good. She and Briana have excellent chemistry and have lots of funny, entertaining conversations that make me feel less alone. These ladies are the best in the biz.

djturkeyLove this show!Taylor and Brianna (sorry if that’s the wrong spelling!) have great rapport, and each episode yields insightful, hysterical conversations about how we make our way in the world. Taylor’s energy is great, and if you love her standup you’ll love spending more time with her mind. If you haven’t watched Quarter Life Crisis on Netflix, do it! This pod shows us humans we’re not so different after all.
-

brvndy_I’ve never related more to a podcast! Finally found a podcast other than true crime. Taylor and Brianna talk about all the things you’re probably going through, but are too afraid to say out loud.
-
BcbearbLook forward to it every weekI’ve been a fan of Taylor’s comedy for a while so it’s no surprise I really enjoy this podcast. As a 26 year old woman somewhat new to NYC, it is extremely relatable and gives me a laugh about the not so glamorous moments of living in a big city. Taylor and Brianna - you are both great and thank you for taking the time to express how so many people in their 20s/30s is feeling in a podcast that makes us all feel a lot less alone and a lot more connected.
-
Corey Bienert⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LcdscreenGreat podcastReally sweet, heartfelt, and of course hilarious. Love this show & coming along Taylor’s NY journey (from an LA woman who loves LA).

-
karly412relatable feelings of isolationthank you for putting words to feelings that i’ve had a hard time identifying as a 20-something. this time of life is very weird and i’m constantly feeling like idk what i’m doing. this podcast makes me feel less alone, less irrational and i appreciate the company it gives me. you two are awesome.
-
jhd.Funny and insightfulA show you and your therapist will both love!
-
jlhp123Absolutely love! This is by far my favorite podcast I’ve ever found. So glad I stumbled upon it!
-
AlycatxoGoldenI loved Taylor on Selfhelpless and she’s even better on SITC. She’s more free, unfiltered, raw and off the cuff. Taylor has so much presence, personality, and a unique perspective. She can more than handle and carry a solo podcast. And her producer, Breanna (wish I for sure knew how to spell it), is a super charming and likable addition. Love how they play off of each other. Ps - Why do I love the intro music so much? It’s so fitting!
-
HotSteel13So RelatableThe show is funny and down to earth. I am a traveling contractor and I get sent to a completely new city to do a different job every few months. It’s nice to hear someone else talking about the kinds of things that go through my head every time I get a new temporary home.
-
ArchivixenPerfect TimingSad in the City dropped right after I visited NYC and decided that I'd move to the city in the spring. I'm loving this podcast because Taylor's hilariously honest observations feel like those conversations with your best friend that act as boosters between therapy appointments. I'm here to laugh through the breakthroughs, prepare for the loneliness of a new city, and get surprised when Taylor gives a shout out to my hometown (and raises the same complaints about feeling weird with the Cal Poly hiking kids). Can't wait for the next episode!
-
Alan CPASad In The CityI thought this was a very enjoyable podcast. Taylor is very natural and easy to listen to. It’s a refreshing change from all the political discourse.
-
CReynoldsRNEpisode 3Loved you and Sam together! It was like a kinder softer version of “My Wife Hates Me”
-
Ashley-SarahLOVE ITI’ve been looking for a new podcast for my commutes to work and this is it!! I need a good laugh and something relatable, I love it
-
emcdmtfToo great for wordsBest podcast, ridiculously relatable. 10/10 would listen to again.
-
blackandgrayGoldI’m hooked already! Thank you ladies for bringing this pod into the universe ❤️
-
AnxiousintheCityFunny and relatableTaylor is, as always, hilarious and very relatable. Focus is heavily on New York, though many of the experiences are similar to Chicago (crazy public transit, radiator heat). I think it’s more enjoyable for people who have lived in NYC, but can be enjoyed by anyone.
-
MallieMalMalSaddies UniteI love Taylor Tomlinson. Two episodes in and I already feel so seen.
-
Steph-105325148697Mad Love from a HelpsterI have been following Taylor for years and was so bummed to see her leave Self Helpless. I’m grateful to have seen her in Chicago during her Deal With It tour and am even happier to hear her updates on this podcast! Looking forward to this new journey ❤️ - Courtney B.
-
KourtvalThis podcast is a #racket(I mean that in the best way possible.) Two episodes out so far, and I’m already loving Taylor Tomlinson’s first solo pod. This level of honesty and self-reflection can be achieved only by someone who has been in years of therapy, but it’s just genuinely funny, too. Consider me a super-fan, who is never moving to New York 😏
-
lemongenaI'm here for itI have been a fan of Taylors for quite a while now. So excited for this!
-
elenaveatchLike reading my own diary out loudThis is the podcast I knew I needed—it’s like comfort food in the form of audio. In episode 1, Taylor walked through every type of chaotic move I’ve done in my 20s so far and made me feel less alone. I just moved from DC to Burlington, Vermont on a whim and am cherishing the company of this podcast as Taylor explores her relationship with NYC!!
