Helpful for all couples who are parents
I’m so glad I found Couples Counseling for Parents - their podcast, IG page, and book have all helped me so much in understanding why some conflict happens and how to go about resolving it. Their examples are always really helpful with understanding tricky topics and situations. It gives me hope and makes me feel less alone in my own struggles with my partner, knowing others struggle with similar things and knowing there are solutions and ways to improve. Highly recommend to all!

    Useful content, unpleasant delivery
I love the idea of this podcast and they cover so many things that are so relevant to my life, but it’s genuinely hard to listen to—he is always saying yes to her and supporting her contributions and she is relentlessly interrupting and disagreeing and nit-picking and nay-saying anything he offers. It’s grating and distracting. I love the content, but I find the delivery hard to endure.

Love the advice, but wish the delivery was more polished.
I LOVE the advice that Stephen and Erin give, and I get a lot out of their Instagram posts. But sometimes I have a hard time listening to these podcasts because they can be a little all over the place. I wish there was a bit more structure or pre-planning of who is going to say what. There a a lot of interrupting each other and going off on tangents. I love how raw and candid you both are, but sometimes the interruptions and tangents just make the message hard to follow. I think a bit more refinement would make this podcast easier to listen to and digest. Thank you for all you both do - your work is so helpful!

    Encouraging, realistic and fun
I stumbled across this podcast after getting one of their reels on my Instagram feed. It is one of the most helpful marriage and parenting podcasts I have found! They are realistic and make you feel like your problems aren’t insurmountable or something terrible, they are instead normal struggles that all parenting partners have. My husband and I have recognized ourselves in so many of the conversations and vignettes they share. Please keep up the good work encouraging parenting partners. It’s so needed!

    Real, Relatable, Fun!
I love this podcast and tell all my parenting friends about it. The episodes aren’t super long, the topics are always real and relatable, and Erin and Stephen are fun to listen to! Listening to these episodes has helped prevent a lot of issues that could have popped up in our marriage, simply by giving us ways to talk about the ongoing challenges so many parents face. I highly recommend Couples Counseling for Parents!

    Very relatable
My husband and I love listening to this podcast together. These two are vulnerable, honest, intelligent, and funny. We relate to them in a lot of scenarios!

    A gift
I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast after following along on instagram. I enjoy the earnestness and the two different perspectives. Both hosts model how to navigate disagreement well, with one party usually looking at the bigger picture when accidentally offending the other. This week’s episode on grief was so beautiful, honest, and grounding. Thank you for this gift.
