I share TPO with all of my friends and fam. It’s the best news source to keep me up to date while I keep my eyes on eternal things.

A must listen three times a week
I have been listening for several years. Great way to stay informed. A better way because God’s word is applied to worldly events and showing us that Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

    Perfect
I love this short and simple news podcast for Christians; wish it was every weekday! Also, please improve in the area of mispronunciations.

    Excellent news outlet
Very beneficial! I was at a point of just not paying attention to what was going on prior to finding out about the pour over on the becoming something podcast!

Tastes great, fresh and organic, low acid.
Clear assortment of news highlights with encouraging scripture to point us to Jesus and grant us peace as we trust Him. Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”

    This is our news!
Thanks so much for creating this! Until this we were just ignoring the news in general. Y’all make it easy to digest and keep moving forward! Thanks the eternal perspectives too! So helpful and love the reminders. ❤️

Best faith based neutral news source.
This podcast has lessened my political avoidance and anxiety so much. It’s totally neutral and notes great faith based thoughts and responses to the news.

    Overall great, just one ask
I really enjoy and appreciate the pour over for quick news updates. The verses to go along with the stories to give perspective are wonderful. That being said, a lot of the news these days have to do with sexual misconduct. I understand that that’s part of reporting the news, but it makes me want to turn it off when details of the charges are given and my elementary kids are listening with me. Can you still report the headlines and keep it general? If I want to know more details I can look it up on my own. Thanks!

Not to give up on being informed
I had resolved to stick my head in the sand, regarding news. It had all largely given me a feeling that it couldn’t be trusted to not be very biased. The truth is that the events of the world are all secondary to God’s will. The news that matters is still the Good News of Christ! Thank you for letting me be informed while remaining grounded in real truth!!

Good content — mispronunciation problems though
Love the Scripture and content. But if you are bothered by words and names being mispronounced regularly, this might be too much for you.

    News with biblical insights
Loving this Christ-focused news podcast that always points you back to what truly matters in this world while catching you up on current events. These stories and updates leave me with a sense of renewed hope instead of a sense of dread. It’s nice to know what’s going on in the world while being reminded that He is ultimately in control. Great job! Keep up the wonderful work!

    Bible Verse is Good News
I was on the email list for this and did not realize it had a daily podcast. My husband and I enjoy the bible verses. God Bless America and all creations of the Lord.

    Quick news download
I’ve been listening to The Pour Over for about a year now and am so glad I found it. It’s quick, digestible, and straight forward with the facts. I have recommended it to all of my family especially in this election year. I also enjoy the little jokes and of course the Christian quotes and scriptures throughout.

    A breath of fresh air
I avoided the news as much as possible, but felt uninformed and out of touch about major events going on. I was so thankful to hear about The Pour Over and find it so encouraging to hear a biblical perspective while staying informed! I’ve shared it with many other people like me! Keep up the great work proclaiming Christ!

    Thank you!
Thank you for reporting the news and giving scripture and encouragement to help us focus on what is important in this life!

    Not always biblical
I’ve seen you bias at times and I don’t like it. But mostly it is a good concept in an unbiblical time. But you are not truly biblical with your bias.

As balanced as one can hope for
It is so hard to find the news without substantial agendas and “spin.” TPO does as good as one can hope. There is a Christian worldview, but that doesn’t obscure the facts. It is short and always hits the high points. I’d love to see more international segments, but they do major ones. All in all, a great podcast for those who don’t want to get sucked into the gravity well of partisan politics.

Only podcast i listen to daily
This podcast is so grrat! i generally dont like watching normal news because it is so depressing- always looking for the negatives in the current state of our world. But this podcast is a breath of fresh air allowing me to stay both informed and hopeful for the future of our generation!
  • Maparfet
    Bite size news
I know I need to stay up to date with what’s going on in the world but it can be so overwhelming. I like that the Pour Over gives a brief overview of what’s happening around the world and if there’s a specific thing I want more information on I can delve deeper on my own. I also appreciate the eternal perspective to help me keep my eyes on the Creator instead of the mess around me.

Awesome news in a quick brief

    Finally!
It only took me listening to three episodes to confirm what I felt listening to the first one-I really enjoy this news podcast!!! They tell the facts of the stories without pushing a political agenda. What I absolutely thrill about The Pour Over is that after each topic, they redirect your focus to scripture and Christ. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you, Pour Over, for the content you’re putting out. It’s so needed right now.

Unbiased, encouraging, & down to earth,
As a registered republican, I'm thankful that this Christian news source isn't right-wing biased (As a lot of Christian content tends to be.) It's remarkably refreshing to hear them comment on candidates or partisan issues with unbiased language, letting the listener draw their own, hopefully Christ-centered conclusions. The Bible verses at the end of each story bring so much peace in this crazy world. Thank you Pour Over!!!!

    Sanity
In a news world filled with the overly dramatic, constant click bait, sensationalism and hype, enter The Pour Over Today! Just the facts. Without the bias. Or the hype. I try not to miss an episode. You shouldn’t either.

    News with wit
I appreciate the good summary of events—both national and international, reported with a little humor. I also like the reminders of a kingdom perspective.
  • OrcaLover25
    Good Christian News Content
I enjoy listening to The Pour Over though I do wish they took a stronger stance on what God is doing in the news they are sharing and spoke more to expose the agendas of the enemy in current events.

Finally Listening to the News Again
I haven’t listened to the news regularly in a long time, since it’s sometimes painful to engage with and feels biased in its presentation. A friend recommended The Pour Over a year ago, and now it’s part of my daily routine 3 mornings a week. I appreciate that the news is presented evenly, and that the quotes and Scripture interspersed throughout encourage you to not despair. Highly recommend.

    Quick and Factual News
I love The Pour Over Today podcast! They insert breaks which remind us of Christian Kingdom priorities amidst news facts that they deliver in an efficient manner. They cover the most important news topics in a succinct way that is not driven via left or right commentary.

    Coffee and the News!
I first head of TPO from one of my church elders who promoted it in his Facebook page. Since I’ve subscribed, I’ve looked forward to listening to every episode to get a quick snapshot of current events without any obvious bias. I’m thankful for a platform that honors God with its content without telling listeners how to interpret the news. Maybe one day I’ll actually listen while I have my coffee!
