Sean and Chris are amazing on here. My favorite podcast to listen to. They never disappoint with introducing new bands that are centered on sharing the gospel in the heavy metal industry. Great stories and many laughs every episode. They also have great theology and always like to nudge stories to allow them to talk about Jesus. And I am pretty sure they love the 5 Solas. Great stuff. I’ve been a fan since this was on Bandcamp. And it is awesome even when they show their age by complaining about playlists and skipping songs on albums :)

This podcast hits all the marks. I love sharing this with my son. Enjoyable perspectives that hits on all the top bands from the Christian metal scene. Most recent casts seem to highlight current shows like Holy Name in Pomona - Sleeping Giant, Meadows, Demon Hunter, Impending Doom, and Convictions. The only next step up would be to have Joe Musten on the show and destroy everything!

Been following Kingdomcore basically since its inception on Instagram but Sean and Chris are incredible dudes with incredible taste in the Christian Metal scene! Great place to hear about your favorite bands and sometimes hear directly from them in interviews. Also a great place to find new music, which is good news for me as I live in a bit of a Christian metal bubble where nobody else around me is into it.

I have been listening to heavy Christian music for a long time. My friend dragged me to a Demon Hunter show back in the early 2000’s where I saw Norma Jean, Dead Poetic, and Project 86. After that, I was instantly hooked. I remember asking the local Hastings store manager to order me the new Zao and Spoken albums back in the day. Now with Spotify and TikTok taking off it’s easier than ever to find new music, but hard to find the stories behind the music. I stumbled on Kindom Core TikTok and found out about this podcast. It been scratching that itch to find out more inside perspectives on the bands that I love and new ones I haven’t heard of before. You can’t find these kind of interviews anywhere else. In my community, most people think my taste in heavy Christian music means I like Skillet or Newsboys instead of Impending Doom or Fit For a King. It’s truly refreshing to find a podcast like this where I feel like part of a community. Keep up the good work!

Where else would we get interviews for these bands? As a avid follower of christian hip hop but I listen to all genres I am so glad a few artists recommended Kingdom Core to me. Keep it up guys!

Absolutely love, The KingdomCore Podcast. I have discovered more awesome music through this podcast and their Instagram than almost anywhere else. Recently about a year and a half ago made a switch to primarily listening to Christian metal metal core and hard-core and this podcast. I found a very early in that and really helped me, explore a brand new area of taste after having listened mostly the secular music I love the way that the hosts bring their faith and their taste in the podcast. It’s a lot of fun and there are a lot of musicians and bands that I feel a lot more engaged with and interested in having either heard them on the podcast or having heard them talked about on the podcast and it seems like lately the quality just keeps going up with each new, keep it up

Episode 41 blew me away. Gave me a completely different perspective on a lot of evil in the world today and a better way to defeat it. So many need to hear this.

Found this podcast through instagram and gotta give these guys some props. These dudes make podcasts that are both funny and refreshing to my soul! I was not a metal fan at all my mom raised me and my brother on county music. I was also homeschooled so really didn’t get out a lot. This podcast showed me a whole new side to Christian music. I remember giving demon hunter a chance and barely liking it. Now I got August burns red, for today, war of ages, and becoming the archetype in my constant rotation. I really love how they don’t take themselves super seriously but still keep it hundred. Chris and Sean take the time to actually learn what the band stands for and what they believe which I really appreciate. I love what you guys are doing I’m praying for you guys! Thank you so much! I love this podcast! These guys are not shy when it comes communicating the Gospel while head-banging. These contain the best interviews I have ever found. Very cool, informative, funny, and I will even say edifying. I also love the News Roundup episodes. Thanks to these guys, I can keep up with the artists and bands that I love and learn about new bands that I have never heard of. Very heavy stuff and extremely funny! Keep up the good work guys!

This morning on my route for work (Fed Ex) I started thanking God Almighty for this podcast cuz it’s what needs to be heard Jesus and Heavy Metal together like peas and carrots. If you’re looking for Christian rock and metal bands, this is the podcast for you. They bring on bands and band members. They discuss their stories on how they became a band, where the band is going, their faith in Jesus, how they incorporate that in their music, what the music means to them, and what they want the listeners to take away from the music. Truly a great podcast. The hosts are great. They ask good questions and let the guests speak fully on the question and don’t interject.

I’ve been following both of these guys for a while now, I remember when Sean was aggressive worshipers. I always get super pumped and excited to listen to a new episode and I’ve enjoyed every single one so far!! Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of Christian metal

Love this podcast! Been following the kingdom core IG for awhile and love learning new artist in the aggressive worshippers scene. Loved the deep dive reviews with Convictions and Phinehas. Honest, heart to heart interviews worth listening.

If you’re a fan of the Christian metal scene, and really heavy music in general, you’ll enjoy this podcast. They’ve put me on to some really good underground acts as well as discussed faith-based topics coupled with their love for Christian metal. Give them a listen!

I’m not gonna lie I never heard of kingdom core or conviction. But I was on a search on finding actual Christian metal.. or aggressive worship 🤣. But was having difficulty when IG referred to ichristianrock they were ok but kinda judging on some of the post they try to debate and make you feel like crap. I then saw the IG for kingdom core been following them for half a year and they are always referring music I have never heard of 80% of the time beside the fact I know most of the (I guess) mainstream bands from ABR (fav. Band) to skrillet as that has always been my style/genre to the Christian hip-hop (NF). I want to thank them for really bringing a podcast that can be discussed more of a mature matter that sometimes people are just a bit embarrassed about. I,understand as of now there’s only two episodes, but I’m sure as in the near future these will get better and have more fans. I, will say this as a bonus this group was the first people that dropped convictions name I have never heard of them and when I listen to I won’t survive EP I couldn’t believe a band like this exist I literally been listening to this EP multiple times and as much as I can write with horrible grammar I just want to say please take a listen and give not just this podcast a chance but also convictions if you have never heard of them.

Often within any genre of Christian, or secular, you tend to alienate to an audience (unintentional or not). I am someone who is not in the hardcore scene very much (Christian or Non alike), and this has been great! Hearing the ‘why’ is important to me, and this podcast does a fantastic job of that, as well as highlighting bands that have are talented irregardless of religious affiliation. So, whether you are a Christian, non-Christian, and or into the metal scene, give this a try if you’re wanting to expand your musical tastes and prowess.

I’m not a podcast guy but if you’re into Christian rock/metal or just heavy music in general, this podcast is a must-listen! It’s been very entertaining so far 🤘
