Haven’t even bought land yet but this podcast has given me the knowledge and the realization that buying land isn’t just for the ultra wealthy. It’s possible for the everyday hard working man or woman! Will definitely be buying land in the next year or so thanks to this podcast!

Typically love the podcast but the common ground one had a sleezy feel to it. There’s so much more to the cash rent deal than letting a middle man pimp out your land and everyone lives happily ever after. It’s not really a needed service, cash rental rates sort themselves out. The only thing this does is help streamline consolidating farm operations. 1 farmer farming 20,000+ acres is bad for small towns and and rural communities. This is the equivalent to allowing crossbows in archery season…good for a few ppl but ultimately lots of disappointed ppl in the end.

Binged every episode over last 2 months. Great info and guests… Look forward to future episodes. PS their Exodus trail cameras are top notch, never had an issue been switching out all my old ones to just Exodus cameras over the last 6 years… believe I own 9 now

Love hearing all the different perspectives on how to buy recreational properties, everybody’s story is different so whether you are searching for your first property or managing your existing farm, this podcast is definitely worth a listen.

New to hunting, new to all-things-land ownership. Jake has awesome guests that help paint the picture of rec/farm ownership. I get a ton of value from the do’s/dont’s. My goal was to have my own piece in 2 years, but this pod has made 12 mo more realistic.

This podcast provides so much good information about buying land. If you’re interested in a farm or hunting property you should start at the beginning and listen to every episode. Even if you aren’t in the market, the stories told by various people are excellent and Jake is a great host. I wish I had this info a few years ago. Better late than never.

Back in the Spring I bought 60 acres of rec/timber land in South Arkansas. This was my first purchase of a larger parcel of land. Your show and guests provided good info and encouragement to go through with the purchase.

We recently closed on our first piece of dirt (finally!) and one very important lesson gleaned from listening to this podcast that got us there was: DON’T DRAG YOUR FEET WAITING FOR THAT PERFECT PIECE OF GROUND THAT CHECKS ALL THE BOXES TO COME ALONG. I really enjoy how this podcast doesn’t tell you what to do or how to buy land, it’s stories from different people explaining how they did it and got it done. None of the guests did it the same, and they were all successful in their own way. Great series showing many different options. Thanks!

I listen to this podcast every week. It’s full of Great stories and information about buying land and how to use the land . Someday I’ll be using this information to get a piece of ground. But I’ve also used the info on here to help my brother get a piece of land that borders our farm. Jake does a great job. It’s the podcast I look forward to the most every week.

Awesome content. Always thought the land side of things was overwhelming and some of this stuff eases the mind and makes it less intimidating and I feel educated on the ins and outs.

The exodus team is a leader of whitetail content! This is another great podcast to soak in some knowledge. I have enjoyed learning more about Jake’s guests pursuit to buy land. There has been a lot of conservation advice and learnings as well that I have enjoyed. Top 3 episodes so far. 1. Skip. 2. Bill Winke 3. Living on a boat! Interesting stories for sure. I also enjoyed Grant Putnams entire breakdown of cost analysis and how he was able to purchase land. No doubt anyone can do it with discipline and hard work.

Really cool listening all of these so far, especially the couple recent shows about solar. They are planning a pretty large solar farm in our area and we recently just signed a contract for a power line easement through our family property. Hearing some of these guests information has really made me feel good about our decision, mainly because the whole project is very controversial around here.
