I was recently introduced to this podcast when they did a crossover with the Mummy Dearest podcast. But I am embarrassed that I did not have this podcast in my life earlier. It is amazing and entertaining and I cannot wait to listen to more episodes. I highly recommend it!

This is truly the messiest, most unhinged, most delightful, and funniest show I’ve come across in a while. Still haven’t figured out why Bindi Irwin is Donny’s nemesis but I’m glad to come along for the ride.

This show is good. I've been listening to podcasts for 20 years, and this is the first show that motivated me to write a review, so, yeah. Give it a listen. You might be disappointed, or you just might find your next binge-worthy podcast.

Listening to I Am the Cute One is like being launched into the pop culture multiverse by two agents of chaos disguised as podcast hosts. Each episode is a fever dream of nostalgia, unfiltered opinions, and absurd tangents that somehow feel like home. Chelsea and Donny don’t just recap movies—they dismantle them, reassemble the pieces incorrectly, and then set the whole thing on fire in the best possible way. One minute, you think you’re here to relive the wholesome magic of a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie. The next, you’re spiraling down a rabbit hole of deep-cut celebrity gossip, unhinged personal anecdotes, and theories so wild they should be studied by conspiracy scholars. Every episode feels like eavesdropping on two best friends who have inhaled an entire bottle of Surge and are now physically incapable of shutting up. This podcast is like the Lisa Frank binder of podcasts—loud, chaotic, aggressively nostalgic, and vaguely threatening in a way you can’t quite explain. If you don’t listen, I have to assume you hate fun, laughter, and the sacred institution of sleepover energy. Five stars, but only because I can’t give them 11.

Have I seen most of the movies that they review, no. Do I love every episode, yes! Donny and Chelsea always make me laugh. and if you want even more chaos, go follow both of their Instagram's, and you will truly be entertained.

They started with Mary Kate and Ashley and covered all the ground since then. No matter what they are talking about, Chelsea and Donny are always going to make me laugh!!

I’ve been listening to the pod for a couple of years now, and it has easily become the highlight of my week. Discovered these cuties on a recent episode of Michael Scott Podcast Company and now I can’t get enough. Just listened to the Little Shop episode and thank god Chelsea loved it because otherwise how dare you. This is a movie podcast but so much more. And also not really a movie podcast at all. 5 stars, no notes.

I was listening to last weeks episode of the Michael Scott podcast company and it led me to these two. I have been binging the backlog and delighting in the chemistry between the hosts. I also geeked out about a reference to a VHS game called Nightmare…because my parents had that one! They got it for Christmas. 😂 I look forward to whatever comes next for Chelsea and Donny. 💜

As a true crime girlie through and through (which I love but they get heavy and dark when it’s 90% of what you consume) this is my go to palette cleanser podcast. The banter between Donny and Chelsea gives me life some days and is just a stress free, hilarious, joy of a listen. I never get tired of hearing Donny talk about who he wants to bl*w, and hearing Chelsea sigh when he says it. Never change you guys!

Re-listening to old episodes has gotten me through some stressful times!! They are so funny I’m laughing like its the first time I’m listening!! LYLAS

I love that you covered Austin Powers. I was 7 when it came out and would always quote the movie. Now that I’m older I see how disturbing it must have been to hear a sweet little girl say “do I make you horny baby? DO I MAKE YOU RANDY? Yeah 😏” I would watch Goldmember every day and knew every word and mannerism and just introduced my boys (6&8) to the scene where Fat Bastard sees mini me and wants to eat him. GET IN MY BELLAY! Love you two so so so much!!!

Donny and Chelsea have incredible chemistry and their friendship shines. It truly feels like I'm hanging out with my 2 friends who are far more funny and unstable than me, loving every minute. If you are looking for fearless takes on the popculture that shapes us and the most honest hosts on the pods, this one is a must listen.
