ElevatorPilot#42This was one of the best podcasts but it stopped in 2023If you like witty banter and medical diagnosis and celebrity confessions then this is perfect for you. I used listen to all of the episodes even for medical situations I typically ignore. But the podcast ended. I don’t even follow them on other shows. Oh well.

dwluvspoolWho knew? Comedy + Medicine = 👍🤣🤓Learning & Laughing!Apparently I just like Sean Hayes’ podcasts! I started with Just Jack and Will (for Will & Grace fans), then Smartless, then I found Hypochondriactor. I think one of the things I really like about this podcast is it helps make celebrities more relatable when they share their past medical issues. I know Sean Hayes is so busy, but it would be great if he was ever able to do more episodes of Hypochondriactor with Dr. Wali. I did find some short videos on YouTube, so if any of you are thirsting for more- check YouTube and search Hypochondriactor!

NotDaisycccDisappointedI was into it, excited to hear people constructively talk about health issues, with some humor because hard stuff is a bit easier with humor. However the doctor was so excited to talk about diabetes and their knowledge was incorrect and detrimental and pushed a narrative that diabetes (especially type 2) is something a lack of good nutrition creates and blames the patient for their illness. They touched on insulin intolerance but never explained fully how it is the main issue in type 2 and your body doesn’t recognize what to do with glucose so it stores it as fat instead. Plus not all those with type 2 are larger people and thousands are made to be ashamed of themselves which leads to more people not wanting to help themselves and see what they can do to change. There is more about autoantibodies, the immune system attacking itself and more, but apparently a general overview doesn’t really cover the whole thing and maybe it was a time crunch, but if you are excited about talking about a health issue then you really need to be very specific and careful about how you speak on it. I’m dipping out of the rest of the episodes because as someone with type 1.5 diabetes the messaging is harmful and the topics aren’t being explored thoroughly…and therefore causes more harm than good.

sjdbamLove the show! When are you coming baaaaaacccckkkk???!!Y’all talk way too fast!!

casey486Love - Better Stories NeededI love this show! I personally would prefer the guest not be a celebrity, though. The phone calls from “regular people” are far more interesting. There are so many rare diseases, freakish side effects, lessons to educate people on, etc., that I would prefer to hear more about. Some celebrities share genuinely entertaining, true health related stories, but many of them come across more like, “I once got a paper cut.” Wow! Fascinating. 😆 I would love more health related questions for the quiz competition at the end too, like it was in the beginning. The last thing we need is another celebrity interview podcast, but we can certainly use more educational health podcasts.

MassiMassiMissing sean and priyankaI learned so much. More important, it provided information and ways to better advocate for myself at doctor offices

Sweeteaaaaaaand cut!Gosh, I really enjoyed this show until they just stopped airing without any explanation to us devoted listeners. Way to make us feel valued lol. Disappointing. Hoping Dr. W well as she was the best!

NickiTJBLOVE this podcast!!!I’ve always been a fan of Sean Hayes, and now I’m a fan of Priyanka! I started listening a few months ago, and had to start at the beginning and work my way gradually through the episodes. They are all so good! I’ve learned some great things, and most recently learned that I very well may be a Highly Sensitive Person, thanks to Priyanka’s excellent explanation of it. It describes me perfectly! I am so grateful for this podcast and so glad I heard about it!! 💜
-
CJ KansasWe’ll miss you SeanLove this show! We’ll miss Sean while he’s on Broadway….but glad Priyanka will continue with guest hosts….
-
k-ji19Am I a Hypochondriactor!? Love this podcast! Can’t believe I didn’t listen to this sooner. Starting from the beginning and so far, I have had, and/or probably have everything Sean and the guests have talked about! I’m not an actor but I meeeaaan, I can be dramatic. Hypochondriactor? Maybe. Fun, educational, interesting, a great podcast to listen to. Especially if you are inclined to fret about real and/or imagined illnesses and conditions you have. It lightens the load a bit. Highly recommend!
-
nevpathsSo goodLove this show but, Sean, did you have too much caffeine before this latest episode??? ❤️

-
CosieMomWHY? HOW? ❤️I have no idea how I did not know this podcast existed. I don’t know how I stumbled upon it but so thankful I did. Originally, I was only going to listen to the episodes with guests I liked or the topic I was interested in. However, after one episode, I am now subscribed and totally obsessed. The chemistry between Sean and Dr. Wali is fantastic. So informative and funny, I appreciate everyone for being willing to discuss their personal experiences (especially Scott Wolf). This is a must listen.
-
TrashookEnjoy this showGosh the Shaun Cassidy episode was great but so was the Conan one. Love this podcast. Thank you!

kat-baller20So refreshingLove listening to you both. You are so kind and caring and truly interested in providing people a fun experience as well as information that might possibly be helpful to someone listening. Thank you for staying so positive not only to your guests and listeners but also to each other. I have listened to other podcast where the presenters just put each other down and degrade them so it’s so refreshing that you both stay uplifting and positive. I will be a long time follower!!
-
nausetmarshToo much celebrity gossipI listened to one episode, and that will be the only one. 1st half was a bunch of celebrity gossip I wasn’t interested in at all. 2nd half was funny
-
jjlaneInterested but skeptical because of DrewHe’s not the best. Celebrities on constant camera during recovery? Really gross.
-
Brian or BrainFunny AND informativeI was up before 5 am this morning and started listening to the first episode with Will Arnett. Even before I’d finished my first cup of coffee I was laughing out loud. Laughter is good medicine. No joke, I think Sean should have won an Oscar for playing Larry Fine in the Three Stooges movie.
-
Timewaster33Love You TwoThanks for your show!
-
LauryLeeGOppySean!!! You MUST watch “Good Night Oppy” on Prime Video!!!! If you haven’t already! You will love it, you will cry!

garlicmomSo fun!Takes my mind off whatever I have going on
-
Sls444EntertainingI like this show. Cute format
-
OurkindatownDr. Drew? Really?I really enjoy your podcast, but why in the world would you have Dr. Drew on? He denied that Covid was a thing and said it was just like the flu. He echoed Trump’s talking points back in 2016 and said that Hillary Clinton looked gravely ill. He sicced Trump’s followers on some poor guy who dared to disagree with him on Twitter about how to handle homelessness. Why would you decide to give this guy a platform?
-
ratemypodLOVE THIS PODCAST!!The worst part about this podcast is seeing that I don’t have any unplayed episodes ☺️. Hilarious, entertaining and informative all in one podcast! Don’t stop making them!!!
-
TbrantgranchTeethLiterally choked on my tea when Sean asked “Aren’t all babies born without teeth?”😂 Love this podcast!
-
Ramon, in the southLove it!I love this podcast! The hosts have great rapport, and I've been a Sean Hayes fan since original Will & Grace.

Jayyy21094My favorite podcast! Thanks Sean and Dr. Priyanka for making medical issues, something I usually find unsettling, fun and educational! Never stop making episodes or I won’t have anything to do in the car. Thanks!
