    Alysa Noceda
Thank you for covering Aly's case...she was a friend of my late nephew, Cody. The pathetic incel loser of trash who raped and murdered her currently lives less than a mile from me after serving his pathetic sentence of only a few years (you can easily find his current address on sex offender registry for Lynnwood, WA) I'm shocked that karma hasn't revoked his breathing privileges yet...

    The best!
Leah is the best story teller and fierce advocate! Her podcast is a standout in the true crime genre! -Kiley from Prime Time Krime

    Love it!
So well put together, straight to the point and clearly said. The cases are not well known which is great to hear about new stories but also amazing to spread awareness about lesser known cases! Keep it up!

    Must listen!
Love listening to Least of These! Not only does she do an absolutely amazing job researching and covering these cases but sheā€™s amazing! - LMLM

    Aaron Spencer.
Thank you for covering this. As a Lonoke County resident, I want everybody to hear about this miscarriage of justice. He did what any good father would do. Also, thank you for saying Lonoke right šŸ˜

    Great podcast
Thank you for your story on the Spencers. IMO crimes against women and children in the US are not given the weight they deserve by much of law enforcement and certainly by the justice system. No contact orders and orders of protection are dependent on the person served with the orders respecting the law when they have, in all probably, already broken laws and thus shown they donā€™t respect the law. We need to do better to protect the public. I stand with Aaron Spencer and as a mother of four girls and grandmother to 8, I would absolutely have done exactly as he did. Excellent show.

    Every life matters
Is that a sneaky way to declare that you are saying the opposite of Black Lives Matter? And trust and believe white victims are not ā€œthe least of theseā€ they get covered ALL THE TIME! White people make up the largest group of murder victims, so if you want to cover ā€œthe leastā€ then cover the missing Indigenous women, not white women.

People do yourself a favor a take a listen to the show you wonā€™t be disappointed!!!
Iā€™ve been a faithful listener to true crime podcasts since its beginning. This is truly one of the best true crime podcast there is and I consider myself qualified to make this statement. The storyā€™s chosen to tell are so incredible and not the same ones you hear being told over and over. Which some podcasters fall into that pit, not this one. Keep up what youā€™re doing truly better than crime junkie and Iā€™ve been following them since their first podcast. This is right next to my sword and scale, and Invisiblechoirā€¦. Of course we can all appreciate dateline and 20/20 but they have nothing on this show. Oh and BTW- PEOPLE SHE IS FRIENDS WITH BMTC HOST NOTHING ABOUT THESE TWO shows IS SIMILAR. Please stop trying to find something negative to say just bc she mentions the friend-ship .. itā€™s just annoying and simply says you know nothing about either show. MOVE ON FROM THAT AND TAKE A LISTEN!

    Re: Comparisons
This is being written to debunk the claim that this podcast host is trying to emulate the host of Big Mad True Crime. I personally cannot stand listening to Big Mad True Crime, Iā€™ve tried a few times and she is just way too obnoxious for my taste. There is zero arrogance or any similar behavior displayed by host of The Least of These. Here, you will find a well written, informative, fluidly spoken story each and every time. Thank you, Least of These, your hard work and dedication are noticed and appreciated.

    BMTC
Feels like sheā€™s trying to copy Heather Ashley from Big Mad TC but itā€™s a good pod. Just wish sheā€™d try to be more original. UPDATE - Sheā€™s clearly still trying to be HA. Now she talks after the episode about her thoughts on the case just like Heather recently started doing. Heather does a ridiculously drawn out series and now she does. Just be yourself and do your own thing!!! You are good at what you do and donā€™t need to rip someone elseā€™s style off.

    Disappointing
Itā€™s sad and disappointing that a show with a title based on a Biblical parable should get an explicit rating. It doesnā€™t need one. I canā€™t listen to this
  • Jersey Girl in Vermont
    Very good!
Very good episodes told by a fabulous host. Thank you !
  • JP-JP7373
    Lacks critical thinking skills
Full of righteous indignation and pseudo outrage over her inability to think deeply about complex topics. Gets upset at her own faulty assumptions and surface level (mis)understanding of the law. It appears sheā€™d rather be upset/mad than apply any semblance of critical thinking to the nuances of multifaceted and convoluted topics. Poor story telling without any redeeming qualities.

    Love it
Just found this a few weeks ago. Love it for all the reasons others have listed. My particular favorite is when she goes off on some criminal or some legal decision that makes no sense. ***** 5 stars
  • Neuhcricjrjcirjc
    Love it!
Iā€™m so glad I found this show! She covers lesser-known cases with a mixture of sensitivity and sass. I love the factual storytelling mixed with editorial asides that totally say what we are all thinking. Keep up the great work!
  • Amber L Clark
If I could give more stars I would!
Total victim advocate! She tells it like it is and I love it! Canā€™t wait to meet you at Crimecon 2024! **buckle up buttercup!**

    Big Mad Dud
Big Mad Mediaā€™s attempt at replicating Big Mad True Crime. Same lame writing attempting to be clever and eDgY, but itā€™s cringy. The hosts sing-songy/odd cadence is so off-putting and distracting. I tried several episodes that looked interesting and I couldnā€™t finish any of them.

    True Crime Podcast Gem!
I stumbled upon this podcast about a year ago while searching for true crime stories, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Leahā€™s storytelling is not only compelling but also respectful and thorough in its research. Each episode leaves me on the edge of my seat, eager to hear what story she will cover the following week. What sets this podcast apart is its authenticity. Leah delves deep into each case, presenting all the facts without sensationalizing or glorifying the crimes. It's evident that she has a genuine passion for true crime and a deep respect for the victims and their families. Overall, this podcast is a must-listen for any true crime enthusiast. It's informative, engaging, and leaves you wanting more after each episode. Highly recommend!

    Iā€™m sold
I understand what other comments are saying about the way she speaks, but itā€™s easy to get past if you just keep listening. I just listened to the 4 parter on Marisela Botello and I was blown away. First of all, this podcast is refreshing because itā€™s cases we arenā€™t often told about. I follow 59 different true crime podcasts and they all tell the same stories. Not this one!! Secondly, she really deep dives (I mean four parts on a person that isnā€™t infamous like Jack the Ripper is kind of unheard of) and really fills you in. Thirdly, she gives excellent recaps on her multi part episodes. In conclusion, just accept her delivery and give her and the victims she discusses the attention and respect they all deserve.

    You rock at telling stories!!!
I love the little personality that you put into your podcast and the little zingers!!!šŸ˜‚āš”ļøšŸ‘ŠšŸ» šŸ’„šŸ‘šŸ»āœŒšŸ»&ā¤ļø

    Ugh!!
Itā€™s the annoying sing-song delivery that just canā€™t let me listen. It could be good, if it were narrated like a normal person would speak.
  • AFTJLM
    Canā€™t listen
Sounds like AI or some other technology reading this- interesting and important topic but maybe get a real person to do the podcast

Love the Lesser Known Cases Covered
I just discovered this podcast and have been bingeing all of the episodes. I listen to dozens of true crime podcasts but I love that this one covers a lot of cases Iā€™ve never heard before.
  • Big Baby65
    One of the Best!
I truly enjoy Leah and her podcast. I enjoy her style of storytelling and her interjectionsā€¦ theyā€™re always right on time. I also appreciate the podcast isnā€™t full of profanities! While Iā€™m not a prude, itā€™s a huge turn off for me to hear profanity every other word! I canā€™t speak to the other comments about Leah not being herself; however, maybe this is her being herself! Keep doing what you do Leah! The victims and their families are given another platform to spread the victimā€™s story to even more people. Thank you!
  • Playtoomanygames
    Ok - so itā€™s not just meā€¦
The up and down of sentences that seem to run on and always end in the tone of a questionā€¦ is rather annoying. Zero emotion. I also agree with 90% of the comments about the host trying to be like Heather Ashley - I would imagine that both being under ā€œBig Mad Mediaā€ means they do know each other. Even the way this podcast goes directly into ads with no warning, just music - the same as BMTC. Content is great, I hope the host can be less like Heather and more like herself. And for the love of God stop using the same monotone voice for every sentence.

A lot of lesser known cases and she is easy to follow and listen to!

    Recent episode
Leah Dee is my hero. The episode about the death in the county jail is heart wrenching and so well done!! She absolutely is outraged by the treatment of the victim and I was right there with her. How many people in earth care this much about strangers?!?! Leah does!! She always tells a compelling story and makes the victim the most important person. I love this podcast. Keep it up Leah!!
  • BananaChronicles
    Canā€™t get enough
The work Leah Dee does to give these victims and their families, voices, is incredible. The world needs 1,000 Leah Deeā€™s.

    I love this podcast!!
I was introduced to Least of These by way of BMTC and Iā€™m thankful!! You covered the case of Alicia Fox which is from my hometown of Detroit, MI. This is the only podcast that I know of that covered that case and I appreciate you for that. Keep telling the stories of those that need it! Youā€™re doing great work.
  • SusanPDeJesus
    AMAZINGGG!
She gets straight to the point. No banter. No long conversations. She tells you the facts! Thatā€™s what I look for in a true crime podcast. I love this podcast and I look forward to it every time she posts a new episode! Youā€™re doing a great job! Keep it up!

    Love the show!
I recently stumbled up on your show and, Iā€™ve been binging since! Iā€™m currently listening to the JRC episodes and, as a mother of an autistic child it not only saddens me but, sickens me to my core! Iā€™ve never heard of this facility so Thank You sooooo much for taking the time to bring this evil to light! This has been a truly difficult story to hear and, I can only pray that we can get them shut down!

You are one of the best!
Love your candor and your passion! Also your phrases like ā€œgag a maggotā€ bring levity to the tragedy and make me feel like Iā€™m talking to my mom. Keep up your amazing work.

    Really Awesome True Crime Podcast
I love listening to Least of These! I discovered Leah from another True Crime podcast a couple of months ago and havenā€™t stopped listening since.. Iā€™ve been backtracking and going through all the old episodes to listen, her passion for those who have passed and comical wit are keeping me tuned in!
