Quinn’s 13" MacBookPeacefulThis podcast has helped me understand that I’m worthy of peace. Sara’s tact in how she talks about things is calming and encouraging. I am so happy I found this!

TylerDouglasNew way to live without fearThis program has helped me so much already. Just understanding what I am feeling and why I act or seek out, has been revolutionary in starting to feel again and not trying to escape. The more have been invested in this program, regardless of my exact issue, I feel more peace and daily joy. I feel the wins and hope is building without fear of failing, by understanding myself at such a deeper level.

j s fullerLife changingSara Brewer / Center for Overcoming Pornography have changed my life. Pornography took root in my life 21 years ago when I stepped into a strip club on a business trip. There were seeds of dysfunction before that, but this seemed to be a turning point, an acceleration point. Since then, I used porn on almost every business trip and often at home, too. Prayer and fasting helped, but the answer to my prayers was this podcast. On Feb 5, 2024, I listened to Sarah‘s master class from a Facebook ad. After that, I started in on her podcasts, beginning on episode 1. Four months later (June), I went on a business trip and stayed away from porn the whole week. Yay! Four months after that (October), I had another trip and I had some porn use. Not so yay, but that’s the path of growth. This past six weeks (Feb 1 - March 11, 2025) has had me traveling for almost four of them, and I stayed porn free! It is such a huge change! Realizing that I have some porn HABITS and that habits can be changed (once this concept/belief soaked in) has been key for me. I’ve listened to 171 episodes and I’m still marching through them. Say, one thing that would be helpful is being able to talk openly about these successes to people I see on a regular basis - even if it is just the other men in my weekly Bible study. If you have an episode that talks about that, I would love to hear it and share my wins and the source of my wins with those around me. I’m convinced (from things I’ve heard Sara and my pastor say) that every man either struggles with porn or knows someone who does. And probably most are in the former group. Being able to talk about it, and share your resources, would steal a lot of porn’s power. Anyways, thank you, Sara and team, for everything! I now look forward to having an answer for my teenage boys who are past due for hearing about a solution to porn.

—Josiah—Life ChangingThis content has brought more than Hope. It has brought about impactful change. I am so grateful.

/apps.are.awesome/Practical, helpful contentSara offers such great content on interrupting the shame cycle and maintaining hope. Her positivity is contagious! Measuring success based on how many urges we process mindfully rather than whether we gave in or not is a game changer! Research shows that the better we get at recognizing and managing emotions, the more able we are to avoid compulsive behaviors—and Sara is a compassionate guide in the development of those skills as well. I’m amazed at how much is offered free here rather than behind a paywall. For my psychotherapy clients struggling with pornography, this is one of the resources I recommend most highly.

MCL3980Thank youThank you so much for this podcast. I have been struggling with my porn habit for decades and for years I thought something was wrong with me. I used excuses and tried to justify it. It has weighed heavily on me and I finally decided that I wanted to end it and strengthen my relationship with God. The shame I felt was also debilitating, but you have helped me understand that those emotions are not necessary or helpful. I am only 20 episodes into the podcast, and I am grateful for you and your work. God bless and thank you again.

Bruhhh846Blessing from GodThis podcast and program has been an absolute blessing in my life, allowing me to find value in myself despite my actions against my own moral code. I’ve been working to overcome pornography for about 3 years now, and I’ve never seen a program that’s been so positive and uplifting. I see hope. I see my worth, and that I am worth loving.

GratefulForOPFGLong sought helpThe short time I have known of you and been listening to the podcast has truly been inspirational. In the past weeks, it’s been my go-to audio, listening to multiple episodes a day, just absorbing it all. I just signed up for the program, and in 20+ years of struggling with this, I’ve never felt the support I feel from the OPFG family. In my first coaching call, it felt like a safe place amongst family even though the only name I knew there was Hunter’s. For years, shame has kept me from feeling that. The whole mindset of the program reminds me of a quote I heard years ago. “Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he should be, and he will become what he could be.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson Thanks for believing in us before we could even believe in ourselves! Keep up the great work!
-
HylianHero33Thank youI’ve been through recovery programs, therapy, and counseling alike. This is a one-of-a-kind podcast full of compassion, understanding, research, and humanity on a topic so few are willing to talk about. It helps not just for pornography, but all habits and life in general. I’m so grateful she has been and continues recording these. Apart from God, it became my source of hope that change is possible.

hunterclark829Mama BearAs cheesy as this sounds, Sara has become a mama bear figure for me haha. It truly feels like she has my back and is breaking the cultural ties of shame and pornography. I have never felt a woman stand up for me especially in this topic like Sara has, it feels very healing.
-
Njacks411Thank youYour podcast has drastically changed my mental state in just the last few weeks. It has made me so much more hopeful and excited, in several emotional aspects of my life. The range of topics is also very helpful and keeps me coming back for more each day.

Kite FlyerEpisode 187 — Please get back to being helpfulSara, I have listened to all 187 episodes, and really like most of this. However, this last episode was NOT about overcoming pornography, it was about you using your platform to vent. Please don’t do that. That’s not what I came here for. You said that you want to provide 10 times or more value. This one was a fraction or negative value. It made me want to think about not listening to you any more. It’s fine that you have your opinions, but I don’t think that what you presented was based on the independent research that you say your program is based on. Be honest, you were venting about something you disagree with, and then did a poor job of trying to tie it back into how this causes people to have a hard time overcoming pornography. If you do this more, I will stop recommending your program to friends. This episode was full of judgmental jabs at religion, again without really closing the loop well. I don’t understand what that has to do with quitting pornography, but it does make me feel less acceptable to you.

Cam bam thank you maamTransformational!!The techniques taught in this podcast have been absolutely transformational. I have wanted to quit watching porn since I was a teenager over 20 years ago but nothing I tried ever worked for more than a couple of months. When I found this podcast I was skeptical, but I started listening and practicing the techniques and I noticed very quickly that it was making a difference. Since then I have joined the coaching program and my life is all but free of porn. Not only do I have less of a desire to view, but I have found more satisfaction in my job, more confidence in myself, and a stronger relationship with my wife and family. I can’t put into words how strongly I recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to stop watching porn and make a positive change in their life.

wpmcmurrinSara help process urgesThis was one of my first podcast and it focuses on exactly what I was seeking in help against urges. The all or nothing process was numbing. Weekend struggles are hard

Pay attention to theShameShe has helped me stop having shame on the mistakes I have made and helped me get thru this one thing I need to is not having shame of what the people closest to me will think

DisguyisawesomeSuper HelpfulBeen struggling with this stuff for a long time, and I didn't have a lot of success with finding good resources, but through a lot of research and some reddit posts someone suggested I check this podcast out, I'm only like 12-13 episodes in(at time of review) but it is so helpful and has helped see this from another perspective, I always saw it as an addiction but it's not. The days I listen are the weeks I do better and ignoring the impulses.
-
heyhey008Helping me so much!!I love this podcast Sara is amazing and I hope to save some money so I can have her be my official coach. She is always saying not to shame yourself and that has helped me so much and how to never give up

Josh RidgesInspiringThere is power in Sara’s teachings. Not only are Sara’s teachings great for quitting pornography but they can also be applied to any of life’s challenges as well. I love this podcast.
-
Marc HayotThe best I have seenI have been listening to Sara’s podcast for about a week and a half and Sara seems to have isolated the main issue for quitting porn: emotions. When Sara talks about buffering your emotions I see it in my life and feel that Sara’s method is the best method. I plan on joining her program to learn how to implement the skills she is teaching me through her podcast.

Alex HubbsHOPEThis podcast has given me hope and faith in myself and my savior that I can and will overcome this problem as well as any challenge in life. Please listen to and follow Sarah’s tools that she discusses in this podcast. Sarah has helped me to see that I am not going to struggle with this problem for the rest of my life. I am currently working out of town for the week away from my family’s and for the first time, I am not afraid of future urges. Thank you thank you thank you Sarah.

JameeeeeThe best podcast on overcoming pornographyI’ve been listening to this podcast for the past 6 months and it has been absolutely life changing and has completely transformed my relationship with pornography. I struggled with so much shame and doubt around my sexuality and hearing Sara break this complex topic down with so much grace has made me break so many false beliefs around porn.
-
Meh_meh-mehIs there a resource for quitting porn without Jesus? This is a great podcast, and I appreciate Sarah’s evidence and method based approach to quitting porn. I’m ten episodes in and I’m encouraged by the way she lays out the root of the problem, identifying triggers, etc. I appreciate even more that it’s free. It’s not often, but whenever she says “as a child of god” I get totally distracted by that, and I can’t focus on the actual point of the episode. That’s said, I’ll still be listening as it’s only once in a while and not too off putting.
-
NACIBENGreat work Sara!Thank you Sara! Keep up the great work.
-
papaj3No shameI really appreciate Sara’s podcasts. Insightful and informative, and short enough to keep one’s attention to the end. Thanks, Sara.

PepeLePew996The only waySara Brewer, you are awesome, your methods and teachings are finally helping me to realize things I never even thought of before. I no longer feel weak, I don’t feel disgusting, and I feel great confidence that I can get over this terrible burden. Seeing all the other reviews of people who had spent several years and never found something that could help until you came along is the most inspiring thing ever. Thanks so much!
-
RWXDevInspiring and based on researchThis podcast has been amazing from the tone to the format and chronology, just packed with value! I shared it with a friend who then shared it with several friends and one of them shared it…with me 😂 But after almost a decade of writing software and wanting to be an entrepreneur, your podcast inspired me to quit my job and write an app to help people develop self-compassion and learn mindfulness in order to break free of any unwanted behaviors they have. I used to think that I needed to develop more willpower to break my habit but now I know it’s more about awareness, understanding, and building resilience through whatever comes along. There’s so much to learn about myself and I can embrace that.
-
Sh'dynasty the deathless10 out of 10 would recommendThis podcast is amazing, I have been struggling with this for years but I have made so much progress with Sara’s podcast. Learning why we turn to porn as a coping mechanism and learning better ways to deal with stress is so much more effective than simply trying to avoid it.
-
WindRider17Finally cracked the codeSara’s approach to quitting porn is straightforward and effective. I’m a 40+ year user that has found success here when nothing else worked. After years of counseling, 12-step groups, recovery apps, blockers, filters and accountability partners, I am finally optimistic about quitting for good. Through the simple act of changing my thoughts and beliefs about myself, I no longer feel defective and disgusting. I am hopeful for the future, and confident that I can succeed. I usually skip through the first several minutes of each episode, when Sara chit-chats about herself and markets her paid coaching program. Also, many of her guests have conservative religious beliefs, and I skip over those segments too. Overall, this is an excellent resource for those struggling to quit, especially if you feel like you’ve tried everything else.
-
joshmoeyAwesome podcastI’m new to the podcast, but love what I am hearing. I attended the free class and want to learn more. At this time I cannot afford the coaching program, but am so thankful for how much of the information is offered for free. Quinn’s testimony was so wonderfully encouraging. Thank you so much for being online.

Jdogg021090Finally!!!!I have tried every possible method of quitting porn. Ive tried different Podcast, different methods, even put my hard earned money into programs that are only temporary solutions. I finally found someone who I feel gets every detail of quitting porn. Sara Brewers Method or straight forward, easy to understand and implement. I’ve struggled with porn for almost 2 decades now, it’s only after finding this podcast that I feel confident I can quit porn.

Homeslice320An excellent resource for all who struggle!I have been listening to this podcast for only a month or so, and already it has helped give me tremendous hope for my personal future…because it is helping me improve my personal present. This is a blessing and Sara provides excellent advise and skills that really have been key to helping me work through some of my challenges. I’m not afraid of feeling urges anymore or experiencing so called “negative” emotions. Feelings and urges can’t hurt me, so there’s nothing to fear! I’m becoming a better person because I’m learning to just allow myself to have life experiences, both happy and sad, without having to buffer or numb myself in the process. World changing!
-
Colby WittThe only solution.I am only 16 but I have already overcome my porn habit because of this podcast. I tried everything I could but nothing else worked. This podcast was the only thing that freed me, and I am using this podcast to help my friends get out of this habit.

K. & P. B.Answer To Many PrayersMy husband has struggled with overcoming pornography since he was 12. He has had every intention to stop and has tried so many different resources, but none have helped long term. He stumbled upon your podcast in Spotify and we both believe it was an answer to our many prayers. It has help change both of our mindsets of what an addiction really is and has given us so much hope in really overcoming! I listen to the podcast with him because the principles you teach are applicable to all parts of life. Thank you for sharing your talents and knowledge to help so many people!

eron rubioSimply amazingI have struggled with porn and shame for YEARS! It has affected my relationship and I finally started getting help about 6 months ago. The therapist definitely helps! But when it’s once a week for an hour….. It’s not always enough. I just found Sara and wow! She fills in for when I’m not in therapy. And the message she sends is like for like with my therapist. I’m excited to continue my healing listening to Sara daily! Thank you for what you do!
-
DafvyfbTruly a Helpful and Hopeful ResourceI truly appreciate what Sarah does in her podcast to help those of us who struggle with pornography, and are trying to overcome it. a tool she gives you are all there to help and beneficial to anybody who's overcoming. Don't follow this platform as a spiritual doctrine place. This is a place of help that can support your spiritual growth, but it is not a place of solely doctrine. Understanding this helps me not to take offense to anything she shares of her own personal beliefs. I truly appreciate what she's doing and I try to take everything for what I can't apply and not as a source of where my faith derives this is a very courageous podcast with a very virtuous woman leading it, and I am grateful for the support and help it provides in my life.
-

possum777nestincredibly healingwhen people imagine the kind of people who listen to this podcast, they probably would not imagine me - a young gay/non-binary person who has never had a direct religious influence in their life. i have never felt like saras teachings dont apply to me, and i have grown so much since starting the program. i am learning to let go of shame and apply the lessons sara teaches to all areas of my life!!! absolutely an invaluable resource

Excited for lifeI am finally learning to deal with my emotions!I was abused from a young age, physically, I was used as a punching bag for my natural father. I found that hiding from my emotions seemed to be the only way to protect myself. I struggled with anger, then with porn. Until I recently found your podcast, started learning how to first process my urges then working with my emotions. I have really come to know that I can rise above all the negative emotions that I have held onto for many years. I used to hate myself now I am rarely getting an urge and the emotions behind them are feeling so much lighter. Thank you so much for the work you do, you have given a soon to be 67 year old man great hope and a belief that anything is possible.

Darn Right. All or nothing thinking. Is the icebreaker for me I have longed for such information and tools as to break free from pornography and I really do experience positive insights , motivations and encouragement through the Sara brewer podcasts on how to overcome pornography. The podcast and the details teaching of Sara brewer is amazing in the way my brain responds in helping me to conceive the vision of becoming that person amongst many many others who share the experience and testimony of how to overcome pornography. Thank you again Sara for the life changing information and applications.
-

mateysfanLife ChangingThis podcast has been such a God send. It has helped me have hope in a struggle I’ve been dealing with personally for more than thirty years. The tools I’ve learned from listening to this podcast have made the difference in being able to change behavioral and thought patterns with lasting results. I have been listening for months now, but from day one the changes were happening. In hindsight, I realize that without these perspectives it is unlikely i would have ever made progress in making the changes i have long wanted to make. I would have been stuck in cycles and spirals. I’m not LDS but I am a Christian. I believe that God is working through you Sara and I can’t thank you enough for your generosity in sharing your wisdom and compassion.
-
dap1299CompassionateSara is upbeat and discusses the issues with overcoming habitual pornography use in such a straightforward way that’s really refreshing. There’s no shame messaging and addresses what’s really going on in your brain and how to resolve it!

Squigg16Worth every dollarThis show & the program are life changing. Cost seems steep at first, but it’s worth every dollar. The program is very helpful and can change your life. You get what you put into it. You work hard, you’ll overcome the problem in time. The podcast changed my life alone.

The Deuce 888Thank you, thank you, thank you!!Hi Sarah, I have been listening to the podcast since June 18th, 2023, the day after the last time I watched pornography. I have been dealing with the struggle of abusing porn, objectifying woman and trolling the internet. I have been stuck with this for over 30+ years. Dealing with shame and guilt of being sexually abused from a very young age I turned to pornography to cope. Not thinking it was controlling me, it quickly became so overpowering that I did not know how to stop. I was previously in another men’s group which helped for the short term but always found myself going right back to my old habits. From the very 1st episode of your podcast I found a sense of clarity and understanding of why I kept going back… buffering! I wish I found you years ago. I am only about 53 episodes in and already know your explanations and methods have helped me tremendously and I feel better about my future of a porn free life. Thank you for you commitment to help the many men and woman like me to free ourselves from this heavy burden we carry. Thanks, Mike in Rhode Island
