So glad I found this show. I’m a long distance fan and I really appreciate like minded folks watching the Thunder. It’s been a few years since I was that emotionally invested in games. Top 3 Thunder Podcast!

The OKC Thunder podcast scene is super solid so the top 3 is a big compliment. Some of the reviews here are overly critical of two guys that are putting out free content for people to enjoy. I will admit some of the swearing and crude references can be slightly unprofessional, but you respect that they just let it flow. Thunder up!

Proof is in the pudding

This podcast is great. For haters to spend so much time reviewing it negatively is a sign that these guys are a problem for the normal narrative. They were laughed at for a positive view in the 23-24 season. And now look how much there were right!!! Kudos on a PRO-Thunder podcast!

Clean up your act

I like the spirit of the Thunder content. I get lots of basketball information along with gung-ho rooting for the team. But please quit the filthy not-white tank tops. I can’t stand to look at them or the greasy hair. I feel insulted and I have to kill the video and just listen. Just had to get that off my chest.

Fun listening experience

Mark and Dave have great energy and positivity about the Thunder. Like any sports podcast, I don’t agree with every single take, but they’re more fun to listen to than the other podcasts, even if they are self admittedly homers. Different, but fun!

First time rating a podcast

12/9/22 For men who claimed their lives are full of laughter and fun, this was most hateful sport podcast I have ever heard. Telling off local media with F bombs, comparing one to Hitler and claiming one had a micro-penis all while not even pronouncing their names correctly. Was bummed to hear the hatred.

Thunder promoter pod ?

Initially I felt this pod was good but gradually I have been impressed by what a one-sided pod it is. Everything is good about this team, nothing bad or worthy of criticism had ever been mentioned. This is not what us OKC fans want to listen. We need a real analysis in a game to game basis. For example, In today’s pod about Thunder’s historical embarrassing loss, you still did not hear even one negative comment about this team, they used excuses to instead praise everyone which made me sick - you had to wonder if these two hosts are paid to only promote the team and organization.

The Rush Limbaugh of Thunder podcasts

All you have to do is listen to one episode or even a couple segments to tell this is just toxic to any sort of critical thought about the Thunder. It’s just blatantly anti analytics, Tanking, Trading, etc most likely to grift onto a space that hasn’t been filled for good reason in the Thunder podcast arena because it breeds toxicity. There’s room for thoughtful disagreement in the area of tanking, trades, analytics etc but this podcast is so dug into its viewpoint you won’t get much out of listening to it.

These guys do a great job covering the Thunder. They especially excel in analyzing player development, at a time when it is more crucial than ever to the Thunder organization. I strongly recommend this pod for anyone interested in the long-term future if the franchise in OKC!
