Great wrestling fig pod

As a major mark I love the MWFP but I listen to it early in the week and by Wednesday I had nothing to listen to at the end of the week to satiate my wrestling fig podcast appetite until I found the fig cave. The perfect way to close out your week with figure chat and lots of laughs and more. Check them out!

Nick and Phil do a amazing job with the Fig Cave Pod

I had high hopes for the podcast but it’s so inconsistent. Phil gives his take on AEW and WWE but openly admits he doesn’t even watch the products. I’ve listened to multiple interviews giving the pod a chance but it’s very hard to listen to someone who has no clue what’s going on in an episodic television show, talk about the shows. Being negative for the sake of being negative is what makes social media so hard to be on, and unfortunately there’s a lot of negativity put out by someone who doesn’t watch the products on this pod.

My bench press went up to 30 lbs since I started listening. Easy listen with solid production value, Phil brings in some great guests from the figure collecting community.

Phil take you on a journey with wonderful guest and talk about everything from how they started collecting to what’s there favorite figure and trading card and journey of going to different spot trying to find the holy grail of action figures. So many wrestling figure podcasts each week and most are the same, I love Phil’s different approach to have someone new with a different perspective each show. Most shows are around a hour so super easy to knock out on my daily commute.

Heard Phil do a couple of shows with the guys from The Run-In Podcast and I said to myself man I would love for Phil to be back in the podcast game full time. Boom! Wish granted! Added this beauty to the rotation!

Great podcast for the figure collecting world with an awesome host!

I’ve been collecting for over 30 years and opened an online wrestling collectibles store in 2018 so I love listening to news, reviews, and opinions from other collectors. Phil does a great job making the interviews sound like a conversation instead of an inquisition. His conversations flow very well. It’s great to get a fresh take on the product. Great job Phil! Oh, and if you ever need a guest just have your people contact my people and we will set it up.

The host, Phil Gentile, is great and I was stoked to see him return to the podcast scene. I enjoy hearing him shoot the breeze on wrestling, figure collecting and pretty much everything else. This dude makes me laugh and you never know what is going to come out of his mouth next! Give this podcast a chance; you won’t regret it!
