Great podcast, and I hate half of the comments about it. Why is it that every time someone expresses their own personal beliefs on THEIR OWN podcasts, people are quick to label them fascists or propagandists. Why not critical think through the information being given and sort out for yourself what has value and what doesn’t. Just because a certain person has a set of morals/beliefs should not completely discredit everything they say. You do not need to agree with everything someone says in order to gain knowledge or attain value from what they are offering. Isn’t that just part of human interaction?

    Stop interrupting women
Its tiresome to endure Huberman pontificating blindly and talking over his strong female guests with a bunch of hot air. He comes out with his segues that he should edit out because even his guests can’t respond to his needing to hear himself talk about subjects he doesn’t have experience with (like parenting).

    Absolute trash…

    Outstanding.
As functional medicine begins its inevitable journey towards the western medicine capitalistic model in the United States, misinformation is everywhere and a community of opportunistic health care practitioners have their hands in your pockets. Dr Huberman and this podcast are the exception. Clear, unbiased, open minded and unattached to preconceived theories. Get your news and education here when it comes to your health.

    Informative…
Great guests and great topics. What I don’t like is how Andrew constantly interrupts and over talks his guest. It’s quite annoying and rude. Andrew, please work on your politeness so I can continue enjoying the podcast. Thank you.

    What a surprise
I really admire your dedication and knowledge. Your interviews are amazing. I was surprised that you have agreed with your last guest that the new president is funny! What are surprising view, because he is really cruel and cruelty isn’t funny😣

All praise Trump, Brand, and Elon
Watch/listen to huberman sit back and nod along while his guest praises accused rap ist and fascits. Zero push back on all disinformation spewed; a true Rogan wannabe. Sad.

    Grateful
In striving to improve myself, I found your podcast. Your humility, honesty and compassion have touched my hidden spots and helped me to heal. How can I say thank you when it is not enough? I will take the next step and share your gift as best I can. In that way the ripples of love and kindness will spread.
  • BarbHouston
    Too political
Disappointed to hear references to Donald Trump, defending him against being a “psychopath,” which many psychologists, analysts, and psychiatrists have shown with empirical evidence. Also, the derogatory references to women (I am female) made me discount this arrogant guy. Request that you avoid such interviews in the future, as I have listened to many previously with great regard.

He’s embracing the crazy now. We have enough of that. I had hoped he wouldn’t go there. Done.

    Right wing propaganda
You’re known by the company you keep and Huberman is part of the worst possible circle of right wing propagandists and egomaniacs. For someone as intelligent as he is it’s shame to not publicly take the correct science based stance on vaccines during a pandemic and in its aftermath. Jordan Peterson as a guest is disgusting. We are living in a real life Idiocracy and it’s a shame to see someone like Huberman, who is clearly not an idiot, position himself the way he has atop the bro-sphere. These men have no understanding or interest in what it is like to be anything other than an entitled white man. Striving for perfection in life is much easier for those that already have everything. Striving to obtain and protect wealth and power is the reason our country is in the mess it is in.

    Great podcast
I have learned so much listening to this podcast. Loved the Jordan Peterson interview!
  • Jds1976
    Lost all respect
I used to enjoy the interviews, but the quality has been steadily declining. And while Huberman used to try mightily to avoid politics (in ways that were somewhat frustrating, even if economically sensible, since by not alienating listeners, AH can pad his wallet), he is now officially joining the manosphere, interviewing the charlatan Jordan Peterson. I’m done with this podcast
  • Dresselll
    Expressing gratitude
Thank you so very much for what you’ve done, and continue to do, for all of us committed to the life-long pursuit of knowledge, Dr. Huberman.

    Lost Respect
Son of Stanford professor becomes Stanford professor and right wing grifter. I can’t respect someone who has guests like Jordan Peterson and friends like Lex Fridman. It’s hard to listen to this narcissist hypocrite anymore. I used to really enjoy his show.
  • CN896
I used to like this show
I listened so you don’t have to! General decent show. Featuring Jordan Peterson was the first and last straw. Left me wondering does he hate women.

    Don’t subscribe to remove ads
I paid for an annual subscription so I wouldn’t have to listen to the thousandth AG1 ad. But the subscriber podcast feed still has the ads! All the other podcasts I pay for remove the ads from the private feeds.

    You finally lost me
I’ve listened to you from the beginning but somewhere along the way you lost your way and with the Jordan Peterson podcast, you finally lost me. Your support of misogynists, conspiracy theorists and anti-science people by giving them a platform is obviously your prerogative, as it is mine to unfollow you. Not to mention, IMHO as a woman in science, your health based podcasts routinely too often relied on weak studies , protocols lacked actual proof of efficacy, or were based on pseudoscience. What a bummer…

Started great, misses deeper social issues
I love most of the information Dr Huberman imparts. But in the last year he seems to be leaning more and more towards platforming folks who espouse dangerous and polarizing perspectives. His episodes with women tend to be incredible, though he often has a hard time hearing about systemic oppression. His episodes with Jordan Peterson really solidified for me that Dr Huberman has gone too far from the original intention.
  • Loro88
    Good
Has some great information and guests. Though I lost respect, and think differently of the host, when he had Jordan Peterson on.
  • Bon the snob
As a fellow scientist, I see this as sponsored misinformation
I was recommended this podcast earnestly by many friends. As a fellow scientist I was severely disappointed. Yes things are made simple, but he and his guests often take things way too far. The framing of each topic you are learning about carefully leads back to a sponsored product. This often leaves frequent listeners with poor advice and less money. For example, it is true that eating high sugar foods temporarily spike blood sugar. If you chronically over-consume high sugar foods over many years that could lead to glucose intolerance and reduced longevity. That does not mean you need to buy a blood glucose monitor or remove all sugars from your diet (as one of his guests suggests completely unopposed). Your blood sugar will spike in response to almost any food and some sugar is a healthy part of any diet. It’s a completely natural process and not something to fear. Don’t allow yourself to be tricked by this marketing masquerading as science communication.
  • Begown
A lot less health and science these days.
Bringing in a grifter pushing an agenda like Peterson shows the direction this pod is taking.
  • Alecia Hitchman
Only podcast I regularly listen to
I wish I had professors like Huberman when I was in school. I love how he educates and gives practical protocols to apply.
  • gdegzia
    amazing!!!
Hubberman uses his platform to take confusing concepts and put them in a digestible format for the listener (you often definitely have to listen intently unless you have a deep medical/science background but the knowledge is well worth it!) He takes such an optimistic approach in his teachings providing very actionable protocols to optimize every aspect of your life and often provides widely accessible alternatives for those who can’t meet these ideals. The essentials portion is great for those lower on time/attention span!!

    Huberman Lab is great
I learn a lot from this show. Even the deepest scientific information is very well organized and explained, so we laymen can get it. I have applied a lot of the information from the show to my life, and it has been extremely beneficial. I really appreciate Dr. Huberman‘s efforts to bring science out of academia and to us “normal” people.

Huberman is a shill and sellout.
Huberman is making tons of money off people looking for good information. His sponsorships are with scam product companies and his partnership products are contrary to the science. This is disinformation. Sell out, shill, sad.
