Great for horror fans who want to dive into more horror

This is the most pretentious movie review podcast ive ever heard and I’ve listened to a bunch. Beyond that, the one host loves to hear himself talk and must think he gets paid by the word. He’ll make a point about something, then repeat that same point 10 different ways for minutes and then move on to the next point and repeat that point again for minutes ad nauseam. But you wouldn’t understand because the host is so much smarter than you and he will remind you of this.

I love these guys! Their discussions, their humor, and how they can agree and even disagree respectfully…it’s all fun to listen to. 🫶stef

I like the show but……. Damon, these shows could be half the time if you didn’t repeat the same point or line over and over and over again. You go into these long tirades and repeat yourself constantly. Go back and listen to the alien covenant podcast. My god.

I don’t even know how I stumbled upon these guys but I’m glad I did. They’re two big nerds who love horror. Love the format of this podcast and how they warn you when they’re entering the spoiler section. It helps that their opinions are on par with mine but what really sells it for me is the heart and soul they put into this show. They deserve to go viral

Ok, so I’m gonna get a little emotional in my review so don’t mind me- One of my good friends passed away recently and she LOVED your podcast. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be listening to you. She started listening from episode 00. She said it best- “you know how sometimes you have two older bros vibing with all the right things? And you just GET it? That’s them.” Which is weird but to us it makes sense. We played your Lost Boys reviews after her funeral because it was her favorite one. She too sucked that movie off 😂 Anyway, thank you two for being fantastic and being movie buffs without being film jerks. Thank you for being so awesome, and thank you for always resparking my love for horror in every new episode.

You guys bring great vibes and energy. Keep doing what you’re doing.

I love how it feels like Damien and Patrick are sitting in the room with you just chatting. I make sure to watch movies they’re reviewing before I listen due to the spoilers, because Damien has similar takes I do, like all the time. This is great because it gets me watching movies I may not be aware of. Great show, fellas. Keep up the good work.

As a horror movie fanatic, I’m so happy I discovered this podcast! Definitely have added into my weekly rotation.

The two hosts are very likeable and have a good chemistry. They have a deep knowledge of horror films and bring a real love of the genre to this podcast. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this podcast to any horror fan, hardcore or casual.

Such a fun show!

I’ll start by saying that a lot of their opinions, I don’t agree with. But that is fine, that’s not what the bad rating is for. However, the whole thing is very stiff and LOADED with misinformation. Years are off, actors and directors are off, parts of plots are missed. If you’re going to have a podcast that’s hardcore horror dissection, do your research and tell us the correct information. How many times I’ve heard the paraphrase “Kane Hodder started playing Jason in Friday the 13th Part VI is starting to make me crazy. One of the guys says that Tobe Hooper went on to make Creepshow? Guys, please do the research in this stuff if you’re trying to gain following.

Such a rad podcast. Damon and Patrick are so knowledgeable and funny. I’m glad I stumbled upon this podcast. Definitely makes my day when they come out with each new episode. Keep it up guys and keep them comin’!!!!
