Mike’s energy is infectious and his insights profound. I listen to A LOT of music podcasts and this one is easily my new favorite. Each episode is a shot of espresso (or 3) for the aspiring artist and will leave you feeling empowered, motivated and informed. I truly hope he continues!

This show is fantastic! The knowledge that is shared, the way it is presented. I put off taking my shot at music for years. Mike is inspirational and tells you all the things you’ll need to succeed. He makes it really clear that above everything else, it’s your work ethic that can make or break you. Thanks Mike! Informative & Entertaining
Mike knows his stuff and so do his guests. They know the music, how to create it and how to make is a successful business. It's not always the advice you want to hear but it's the advice you NEED to hear. He is doing the work to back up waht he says and genuinely wants to help others succeed.

    Real talk
Really loved the episode with Seids. It was interesting to hear someone making a career from music in a non-traditional way. Not waiting until “the time is right” but making something from what she has RIGHT NOW. Love this!

    Inspiring and energizing
Mike’s enthusiasm and energy are infectious and entertaining all at the same time. There are so many brilliant nuggets of information and motivation in each episode that they are worth multiple listens. Highly recommended for aspiring songwriters, professional songwriters and anybody interested in the craft of songwriting, music production, sync licensing, or who just need a little inspiration or a spirit lifter on their morning commute. In honor of the host’s love for coffee I rate this podcast ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ (5 cups of coffee)

    Pro Advice
Mike knows the theory ... but more than that, he knows the business. I find the best place to get advice is from someone who is actually doing the work. That's Mike.

    This show makes songwriting fun!
Let’s face it, making music require a lot of steps. It definitely has its good, bad, and ugly aspects - particularly mentally and when it comes to those relationships with others. So what happens when it becomes a podcast? Host Mike Meiers’ energy meets the deep dive conversations he has with unique guests he invites adds both value and fascinating stories that, to me, makes songwriting fun again. If you’re a musician, songwriter, fan of stories that involve musicians or folks in the music industry, this podcast absolutely fits the bill!

Getting Tuned into WatzHappnin' with S4G Podcasts
I recently listened toand Episode 65 - Songwriting Tips with Artist Lainey Dionne - and learned how she followed her passion of singing with the guitar, performing -- and how she was able to change to the career she Loves of being a Singer Songwriter and performing artist. She speaks about how she studied music, voice lessons, guitar, in higher education. Also how she did networking to meet people in the industry and got some great breaks to start her on her way, and learned about how to operate her business. She also is a coach for songwriting modern songs. And now I see a Treasure Trove of many more Songwriting for Guitar podcasts to tune in and to learn from and be inspired to follow my own musical path to happiness :)

I love all the episodes—chock full of important info and wonderful guests. I have an iPhone alert to remind me to tune in. But my current favorite is Episode 79 where Josh Doyle and Mike Meyers talk about the importance of asking questions…and learning what the right questions to ask are. I so needed to hear that!

I highly recommend listening to these podcasts, they cover everything you want to know about songwriting! The artists share relatable and sometimes humorous experiences, which I find encouraging as well as informative. I love listening and absorbing the perspectives from each artist/songwriter so far. Mike does a really nice job facilitating the interviews - and it helps to know the obstacles I’m facing are not unique and can be overcome. I find myself more willing to create songs and bring them to life!
