michelle elianeReal talk, no fluffDani, Ashley and Mishi really know how to call you out on your st*ff. But in a good way. This is a great podcast as someone who has struggled with disordered eating and HA for many years. So much practical information and real life stories.

sashamasha1010ObsessedI am obsessed with this podcast! It has been my number one resource for recovery. I saw myself in all the recovery stories and it made me feel so much less alone. Recovery is hard but listening to these girls every day reminded me why I was doing it and gave me the confidence that it’s worked for other people and it will work for me too.

Caseyjean135THE podcast for HA recoveryDani knows her stuff up and down when it comes to HA. I really appreciate how thorough, honest, but also open-minded she is. The diversity of guests that she interviews is quite impressive, and the interviews are all so relatable and comforting to hear if you are going through HA recovery. Just feels really well-rounded and like she covers every piece of the puzzle.

ekj543So good!Dani is fabulous- I have learned so much about HA from listening to her. She interviews a variety of knowledgeable women from various health/nutrition/research backgrounds and that alone has shed so much light into what HA is and how to fix it. The personal recovery stories are very helpful as well and so relatable. I am beyond grateful for finding her and this podcast.

k_godfreyAmazing for HA Recovery TopicsAnything HA recovery related you will find it here. I highly recommend this podcast.

nkingpLife ChangingLike seriously!! I found Dani’s podcast after a year of no periods post birth control and being told I could begin prescriptions to get it back and attempt to get pregnant. This wasn’t the path I wanted to take so I started doing some research. Hearing Dani’s first episode made me stop in my tracks because she was describing exactly what I was experiencing. I can’t say I’m completely recorded yet but Dani is confident, informative, and loving- exactly what I need 😊😊😊

society desertera perfect cyber coffee dateThis podcast is great. It's my current go-to while I have breakfast and sip coffee. I like to start my morning out with a podcast that's easy to listen to (no annoying voices hehe + interesting) and gets me in a good mindset to start the day. This podcast does just that. By the end of an episode I'm feeling upbeat and ready to take on another day of HA recovery. Perfect cyber coffee date material aside, this podcast is SO important because it is spreading the word about hypothalamic amenorrhea. I've been continuously told that not having a period is no big deal, but it IS. Bones are important. Babies are important. Underlying causes aka mental health + eating disorders are important. As women in our health care system we sometimes need to educate ourselves so we can demand the care and treatment we deserve. So thank you Dani for helping fight the good fight. You're a natural podcast host! p.s. this is from your society "deserter" -- I DO think you're doing great things. Xoxo

PaigeRockShowJunkeeSpeaks to MeSo I just wanted to make a comment on the most recent bonus episode with Ashley about reverse dieting. I enjoyed all the episodes but this one in particular spoke to me. I’m a prior competitive bodybuilder and I’ve been tracking food for 4 years, it’s not so easy to give up overnight, so I began a strategic reverse diet because it was something I can manage. I’m currently up to 2100 cals and still working when I listened to this and it gave me a sense of relief. Sometimes in the HA community, it’s easy to feel a sense of guilt if you don’t jump ALL IN but for someone with my history who is just trying to regain health, not get pregnant (yet), I think it’s harder. With no baby “end goal,” you’re doing it all out of sheer will. Anyway - this podcast helped normalize those feelings and not make me feel like I’m half-assing or a failure. SO THANK YOU!
