Mentors is my favorite podcast for professionals in the entertainment industry. Not only are the guests knowledgeable and insightful (and often high profile too!) but Michelle is a natural host. There’s some really great info to listen to on this podcast! I’m often waiting to pick up my kids and it’s great to be able to stay tuned into the film industry while waiting. It’s also great that there are the longer episodes and then the shorter bonus podcasts for when you want to listen but are short on time. All of the info is helpful, positive, and uplifting. I recommend this as a resource to other film industry professionals for sure!

As a SAG AFTRA, agency represented actress I find Mentors on the Mic to always have valuable insight. The fact Michelle is an actor, is much like when actors direct, the connection and understanding is irreplaceable. This is part of my acting home now. A safe space where they speak the same language. I started listening to your podcast while driving from NYC to ATL (ie....the longest road trip). Specifically the Jenny Ravitz, Julie Schubert and Erika Karnell episodes and really enjoyed it, made the trip fly by! Very seamless conversations and good questions! Before meeting Michelle, I never would have thought to listen to a podcast featuring guests in the film industry. I started listening to one of the episodes and literally stopped to think - wow, I can actually takeaway lots of hidden gems in these interviews! I’m not in the film industry, but I highly recommend listening to this podcast, even if you aren’t in the film industry as well! Hearing people’s stories and interviews is incredibly inspiring, and you may learn something just as I did!

As someone who is studying acting on the side and readily pressing it, this podcast is THE BOMB! On top of how helpful this is for creatives, you just gave me another reason to love the stunning Jenny Ravitz. That episode changed my way of thinking and is something I will keep going back to so that if I ever am asked, I can cast someone the right way. She is incredibly helpful and talented and I love the way she placed casting in perspective, what she said about people seeing casting directors as gatekeepers and how they want to see you get cast and succeed; that stuck a chord with me. Anytime I have an audition now, I will try and keep those kind words in my mind.
