I attempted to enjoy the podcast today, but constant ad interruptions made it nearly impossible to follow the storyline. Frustrated, I ended up abandoning it altogether.

listener since about 6 months ago, went back & caught up on prior seasons although still going through. I’ve had a lot of other prior gatherings with a lot of other paranormal topics researched or spoken on in other platforms but I wanted to say this one does a great work of making it a fun listen while definitely providing some quick verifiable examples of whichever the reader is detailing on just about every episode. if you’re new to this stuff or experienced i recommend this podcast to anyone interested in learning more about paranormal experiences or exploration.

Make your back ground music , back ground music. Tone it down and don’t make it fight with content. Stop yelling. You’re yelling not talking. Stop going on and on. Be concise and informative.

I like the stories in the show but the creator uses a piano sample playing the same five notes over and over again in the background. It’s loud enough to be quite irritating and distracts from the quality of the show. Disappointing since the show has a lot going for it.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I’ve been listening to the show for years at this point and I’m still blown away every episode. Kevin has the most wonderful story telling abilities and sense of emotion in his voice. I’m genuinely so impressed every show. The content itself is unmatched. The research, time and energy that goes into this show has to be insurmountable, and it shows every. Single. Time. I’ve never skipped an episode. The newest show, Dark Realms is icing on the cake of the weekly main show and the weekly mini episode. I hope this podcast never ends. I’ll be listening for as long as it’s available. Keep up the incredible work, Kevin. I’m rooting for you, all the way from the USA.

I don’t really know or understand why I need/love darker true supernatural stories- but… here we are… and I am LOVING this show- the narrator has the best voice and the stories are relatable yet eerie!

This podcast has led me to binge podcasts like I never have before. And I was quite sad when I was all caught up. Truly a terrific podcast, I appreciate the side podcasts as well. Each story is captivating and the host has a lovely voice. Glad to have found such a gem!

Kevin said intros will be 3 minutes at most now. Not true. Ads are crazy too, can’t even enjoy any story you tell anymore. Go eat some beans and toast MF!

You either need to have your audio be a lot louder or lessen the volume of your ads because you are so quite that i have my volume cranked up just to hear you then i get blasted in the eardrums with the LOUDEST ads known to man (using Apple Podcasts)

I have listened to this podcast for over 2 years. However the self promotions, marketing and talking & talking now takes up 9-10 min. A quarter of the show is now just pushing memberships etc. It used to be about 2-4 min. Not happy with the obvious need to make more $

9 minutes in and still no story started.

Kevin has taken great care to cultivate a space and community surrounding the paranormal. He genuinely cares for his listeners and narrates many terrifying and unsettling listener experiences. Love this show, I’ve been listening for 2 years now and I’m never disappointed with the unique and terrifyingly familiar stories shared here.

I've been a faithful fan from the very first episode, trust me I have listened to so many trying to find something that would just come close but so far nothing holds a candle to it, the way Kevin tells the story literally puts a person right within the story as he takes the listener through it I literally have not come across one of the episodes that I can say was not listenable too, I mean every single story I have heard has been top of the line straight up scary to the point of you can feel the fear that is being conveyed just like if you were facing the situation or entity yourself. I don't understand how anyone could say anything negative regarding Kevin and his ability to tell the story I truly believe he is gifted and his ownlove of the paranormal comes through with each episode he brings us each time he chooses to bring that particular persons experience to us. I believe he chooses the best ones for it takes a lot to get to me for I have my own stories one day perhaps I'll only hope he might choose to tell. Where anyone is getting that he is an AI because of what his accent or his way of telling the story that keeps you on edge and he knows where to build the suspense and knows what is scary and what is average fluff brought to us by wannabes of the Dark Paranornal . I hope that this podcast stays around for a very long time for with it the listener gets to really be scarred and hopefully others who haven't yet brought there story forward will through this outlet feel comfortable enough to hopefully one day hear there story being read by Kevin. Please continue on with bringing top of the line content being read by you who has found your gift, thank you for being the one podcast that I feel puts the rest to shame, ignore the ones who only can attack u with the weakest of put downs think about it the only bad things they can say are the opening when u read the list of names from the patreon site is what too long for your fan base grows every week oh and that you sound like a bot most likely because they can't decipher your accent from there own. Kevin you rock and thank you for bringing us the best frights and experiences any podcast has to offer, you are amazing !

This is honestly the best and only podcast I listen to. Kevin is a wonderful story teller and his voice really soothes me. I have not came across a single episode that I haven’t enjoyed. Keep doing what your doing cause I Love it!!!!

This is my FAVORITE podcast! Kevin has the best voice, which to me is super important. I’ve tuned into some “top rated” podcasts and have tuned in only to stop mid-hosts sentence because their voice was not soothing to me! I’m a true paranormal fan!. I’m very picky when it comes to podcasts in general, but especially paranormal podcasts. I’ve always been fascinated by anything “beyond the veil” and TDP hits all the high points for me. I love to hear real people’s experiences, and Kev strikes a great balance between not looking for a demon under every rock, and acknowledging that these things are very real. The atmosphere while listening is just the right amount of genuinely spooky (I often listen while grocery shopping and have still jumped while in a brightly lit and crowded store) and Kev’s inflection is perfect for telling a narrative while not having that grating youtuber singsong (in my personal opinion). Overall, TDP is my FAVORITE paranormal podcast and is THE place to go if you want to hear genuine paranormal experiences from someone with a vested interest in the field. I would compare it to a non-fiction version of The Magnus Archives in terms of listener experience. Thank you, Kev for all the work and care you’ve put into this and all other podcasts you do! Those of us in the TDP community are grateful and wish you every good thing.

I have been listening to this podcast for over a year now. While I’ve tried listening to others, none of them come close to this one! Absolutely love listening!

This is the best ghost podcast. The host, Kev, has a great voice, and does a great job reading and lightly reflecting on the stories. He’s refreshingly aware of his role as a storyteller and he adds in appropriate sound effects at just the right places. The stories are both interesting and scary. Really highly recommend this podcast for those who love a spooky ghost story!

I came across The Dark Paranormal a couple of years ago, and was hooked from episode one. I love how the host is so welcoming and open to all those who have had paranormal experiences and creates a ‘safe space’ for them to share their stories. I would definitely recommend a listen! PS I’m also going to miss WNTAG, but will be excited to hear the new version of the show.

I’ve been a dedicated listener for a few years. This is easily one of the best paranormal podcasts out there.

As an experiencer and storyteller I can often find podcasts of this nature uninspiring. The Dark Paranormal, however, never disappoints. The stories are chilling and delivery delightful. Do yourself a favor and subscribe so you you don’t miss a single episode.

I have been listening to the show for at least 2 to 3 years, and it is a great addition to my paranormal podcast library. I appreciate that the host, Kevin, support people with their experiences and is not judgmental. I really also enjoy his readouts of listener stories and the respect that he gives everyone. There have also been some pretty freaky stories over the years that I continue to rather enjoy. I encourage you to go and take a listen. I got hooked after one to two episodes!

I listen to this on luminary but I can’t leave a review there. I love this show Kevin is an amazing host and these stories are extremely unnerving. Definitely give this show a listen if you’re looking for a new paranormal podcast.

Kev always has interesting stories to tell on each episode. When he speaks about the stories that he is telling, you can tell that he is actually passionate about the paranormal and takes it very seriously. He’s got a wonderful storytelling voice and I never get sick of listening to the tales he has to tell! Keep up the great work Kev!

Kevin has the BEST voice for delivering this scary content: It is soothing and spooky at the same time. He does a great job of setting the mood and transforming his normally funny and lighthearted demeanor (refer to his other podcasts) into a serious one. I recommend starting at the beginning!!!! You will be addicted.

I miss the dark minisodes. Also, in response to other reviewers, I personally love the introduction with the piano. I also like all of the background sound effects that go with the story. I especially enjoy how the narrator tries his best to address audience concerns, and tries to adjust the show according to reviews or emails. As he reiterates in almost every show: this is the people’s podcast. The narrator really puts in the effort to make the show tailored to his audience. Personal rant: I realize that not every podcast is going to be for every listener, but I think it’s cruel to leave a negative review. There are human beings behind these podcasts, and this is either their livelihood or a special interest creative project that they’ve worked so hard to create. Let’s all try to be a little nicer to each other, even if we don’t share the same taste in podcast.

Been listening from the start. Kev's about the stories and the listeners. He shows real appreciation for both. His 'monologues', so to speak, and banter are pretty fun. I never miss an episode.

I’ve listened to every episode and am a huge fan of this podcast for this genre. So glad that I found it! I’ve even re-listened to some past episodes when I run out of things I want to hear!

I don’t know about you, but I have podcasts in my feed that I only listen to if I’m in a specific mood or have a specific inclination. The Dark Paranormal is definitely NOT one of those. I never skip a drop. I love Kevin’s voice and the attitude he approaches the stories with. I also really like hearing about other people’s experiences that can’t be explained away. As a curious person, this show is a great fit for me. Thanks Kevin for your work!

Maybe just me but I love falling asleep to this podcast! The stories combined with the hosts soothing voice are wonderful (even if it might give me nightmares!)
