BorahaeReviewTween ARMYI first discovered this podcast when trying to find a podcast discussion of Jin’s single, “Abyss.” Over time, I’ve enjoyed listening to Emily and Rocky embark on their BTS journey—as I’ve been embarking on my own—and I appreciate their perspective as slightly older ARMY and as a married couple! Their episodes are sure to make me laugh and say something out loud in agreement! Always love the music and concert reviews! 💜

dilandroKSo happy to find this podcastEmily and Rocky are ARMY and it shows. They research, care and talk about many aspects of being ARMY and Korean culture. Their perspective as older ARMY is cute, fun and as complex as BTS. The insight they have on US vs Kpop is interesting and smart. I find it cool to hear them discuss the visual and talent aspect of BTS since they are married. Hi Byron! Check them out and I dare you to listen without talking, agreeing or shouting at your listening device! So thankful, I found them I’ve listened to them all!

Urban_MikkiV:underestimatedTae is 2nd smartest of group in terms of IQ after RM(149vs142).Him being ambidextrous though born left-handed is good example of his high brain-ambidexterity. While imaginative & creative, he is meticulous & through as JK once described of Tae. “One of a Kind” along with his voice, look & personality. As much as smart & talented, he’s also known for being uncommonly pure, candid & very thoughtful. When Jimin first moved to Seoul, Tae was afraid that Jimin would be teased in school by ‘Seoul’ kids for his thick accent & awkward manners. So, then popular Tae demanded everyone to welcome & befriend his new friend from Busan. When Bighit was hesitant about Jimin hence Jimin was worried, V told them that he’d love to have Jimin in the team. Jin said he realized early on that “this kid has a generous heart” by the way young Tae treated Jin who was introverted & insecure. BigHit excluded Tae from all pre-debut PR & kept him a secret cuz they thought of him as BTS’ “hidden weapon” & were afraid that big agencies would lure him away if they discovered him before debut. Jimin reminisced how sad V was having to hide & watch others communicate with potential fans. V after debut told them that he was so happy when he recd his 1st fan letter that he stayed up all night reading it over & over. P.S. Legendary Broadway star Lea Salonga said, V on stage is so masterful that young actors should study & learn from him. She praised that ”he knows how to fill a space. He doesn’t waste a single step nor breath. Every movement has its purpose.” She continued, even when he’s in the back, he’s committed 100% as if he’s in front & center. Grammy winning soprano Sumi Jo was impressed when she first saw V in BTS vd playfully singing opera aria & became curious. She believes he has ‘perfect pitch’. Renowned Korean music critic YD Kim analyzed all BTS members, w/ Tae on point being the “most important piece when it comes to the band’s musical identity” & described his vocals as the “most soulful among his generation of artists”. He talked about how BTS rose to fame w/ its impressive musical pieces, of which “nothing would be created w/o V’s significant participation”. V has the widest vocal range of group as demonstrated in ‘Stigma’. V’s solo “Singularity” was first to chart in UK & recd rave reviews for his emotional&soulful delivery. His 2020 solo project “Sweet Night” topped 118 ITune charts despite lack of promotion.

Cali cam girlInformative, detailed podcastHello, I just found your podcast recently. I don't consider myself Army, but I've been going down the BTS rabbithole ever since I saw them on Carpool Karoke at end of the year (already v. late). I think some Korean words/ names you do very well, esp. the boys' names. But I just want to offer a little help to pronounce the name of your podcast with more Korean accent: Bahng-tahn. Korean does not really have long A sound as in bang or tame, or short a as in cat, instead more ah(s). and the youngest Maknae term probably should be spelled Magneh (phoentical spellings are not really consistent, I normally have to google to see what's more common). So Mahg-neh. But you guys pronounce Hyung well! It's nice to have a podcast which helps people not familar to BTS-verse learn more in positive way.
