Jared S, MDThe best!Must listen! This podcast remains the absolute best medical podcast out there! I have known Dan and Amit since I was there Intern. I have been listening to cardio nerd since day one when I was a brand new cardiology fellow! They continue to put out the absolute best, highest quality, most educational information about cardiology out there. It is essential listening for all individuals interested in cardiology and to take care of cardiac patients. I am now an attending cardiologist and I still listen to every episode when they come out! I continue to learn so much from this show. And because I listen to the show while I run, cardio nerds has made me a healthier person, a smarter cardiologist, and a better doctor! Then again I would expect nothing less from my former senior residence! I recommend this show to all of my trainees, and cannot, cannot, cannot recommend this show enough!

Andreinavalenzuela-NP studentGreat content and use of case studies! The patient-centered approach is always appreciated. The speakers have very diverse backgrounds and deliver up to date and evidence based guidelines. Wonderful podcast.

Cam MattesCT surgery APNIt would be MUCH better without the lengthy introductions and strange, seemingly scripted banter that said the content is great. But..we get it. You’re physicians. You’ve done stuff. You *probably* doesn’t need to take up so much time patting each other on the back.

golgikanjiDr Cullen and endocarditis.Great show! Very useful information presented perfectly. Strong work. However, too bad you chose such a demeaning name for your show. It promotes the MAGA tenet that being intelligent a fool’s endeavor. Change your name (and avatar). There is time. And keep the great podcast going !

Dave K EPAwesome podcastAmazing podcast overall. The content is awesome. However, I’m not a fan of the excessive praises before and after every comment, it sounds fake, like you’re all just brown nosing each-other. Also, I’ve probably listened to like 30+ episodes, and I never heard anyone disagree with someone else. (I’m sure there has been tho). Seems to be a lot of prewritten statements and praises. The dialogue thus seems manufactured. Keep it up but dare to disagree and have some authentic dialogue/debate. Disagreement isn’t the same as disrespect.

leah PFQHCFantastic review even for PCPsI’m a family doc at an FQHC and take care of a lot of patients with heart disease. I just discovered this podcast and find it super useful even for a non-cardiology audience. Kudos to the Cardionerds team!

NewHollanderCurbsiders brought me hereFM here. Great stuff docs! Entertaining and educational. However, I think cutting down on the awkward and overly effusive praise that follows every single answer the guest gives would make listening to this more enjoyable. It’s one thing to respect your mentors, it’s another to vomit flattery at every opportunity.

Mindy in AlabamaGreat discussionSo happy to hear the talk of Myocardial bridges. I had unroofing surgery July of 2020 at Stanford. I knew my condition wasn’t benign, and I’m glad the medical community is starting to recognize that it can indeed be ischemic.

lizzy hudsonI’m only 13, but I love it!!Love it!! I’m planning on becoming a Nurse Practitioner, but I love things having to do with cardio. I would LOVE to be a surgeon (cardio), but simply just don’t have the grades. I also think it takes a very special person, and I’m not one of those people. This podcast is so educational! I’ve always been obsessed with the heart. It’s just so cool!!

moonfoolinMehHoping future episodes get better - just got through episodes 1 & 2. Literally everything most frustrating about doctors and medical education. 4 minutes of socially awkward praise for each other’s accomplishments, and a handful of bad jokes about patients. But some gems to help me study for the nursing boards and deepen my understanding. Also super interesting pedagogically to hear the different focus of medical education (diagnosis) vs nursing education (assessment and priority nursing intervention etc). With three stars of affection, a recent nursing school grad with too much life experience interacting with unlikable doctors
