This podcast helped me so much as I was starting and going through the divorce process a few years ago. I still tune in on occasion as things can come up after the divorce as well. Susan has a great voice and a great attitude as well as being smart and sensible.

There are many good episodes, but in general, most guests are well beyond their divorces and almost all of them are remarried and seem ecstatic. For someone just entering the divorce phase, it's hard to identify with most of the guests.

Tuned in for an episode on ending relationships/entering divorce. And I was surprised how anti-male biased stereotypes were on display here. Barely even a mention of “not all men are bad” Just struck me as off putting as we all know it takes 2 to make a marriage fail.

What I love about Susan’s podcast is how much you can apply the information to your situation. She delivers things in a way that make sense. I also love the warmth and care she brings into the topics she discusses. Great for anyone going through a separation or who is supporting someone who is.

I wish I would have started listening to this podcast sooner! Susan’s knowledge and desire to help women become more empowered is heart-warming and incredibly helpful!

I first heard her on Kate Anthony’s podcast and found her practical and informative. I would listen to her podcast when I was having a difficult day and always felt better at the end of it. One of the best podcast host I have heard, Susan is brilliant as an attorney but also warm and inviting. Her empathy for those in conflict is so apparent in her episodes. Fantastic podcast and a must subscribe!

Unfortunately the episode I listened to provided little new information. Lots of cliches and buzz words. Basically an infomercial for the guest interviewed. Real pragmatic information would have been preferred.

To me, Susan Guthrie is the godmother of all things divorce. She not only brings amazing advice to the table on the podcast, she hosts incredible guests as well. This is a long overdue review for this awesome podcast. I’ve spent the past 2 years in a very painful divorce process that seems like it will never end. Every time I feel like I can’t possibly pull myself out of bed (e.g. this morning) I put on one of Susan’s podcasts and always get some wisdom that helps. There is a great mix of guests but the focus on “and beyond” has been really helpful for me. Hearing that there is something on the other side of this pain keeps me going and Susan’s warmth and compassion make this more than your typical podcast. Highly recommend!
