Dr MenijeAmy & Abby are here for real conversations!I had the pleasure of being a guest on this podcast, where we dove deep into the topic of perfectionism. The hosts were incredible—thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely curious. Their personal experiences with perfectionism made the conversation feel raw and vulnerable, allowing for a rich, honest exchange. We were able to share valuable tips and healthy coping skills, and it felt like a truly supportive and enlightening conversation. Highly recommend listening if you're looking for insights on navigating perfectionism!

KPsperI love this podcastI love this podcast and the variety of topics it covers. Amy and Abby are both so positive in the ways they approach motherhood and their relationships. It feels like a breath of fresh air when so many sources of information these days are full of complaining, fear mongering and playing up the victim role. They present tough topics with a can-do attitude and give real examples of solutions for their problems. I’ve listened every week for the last 4 years and hope this podcast continues for a very long time.

WakerMaker3The only podcast a busy mom needsCongratulations on 5 years! I have listened to every episode since the start and this is the only podcast I must listen to every single week! I love the two different viewpoints Amy & Abby bring to the table (and that they’re just so relatable - I feel like I’m chatting with my close friends every week) and all of the varied experts they bring on as guests. It’s never just about one topic and I’ve learned so much to support my journey through motherhood. I recommend this show to all of my friends regularly.

_lexmex_Life ChangingStarted listening to this podcast when they first started during the Pandemic and I haven’t missed an episode yet! My second child was born just a few weeks before the world shut down and at a time when I felt isolated and disconnected, listening to Abby & Amy every week made me feel like I belonged to a community of like-minded women. Listening to them and their guests empowered me to take charge in my life and my motherhood journey. It’s encouraging to see their success and how they’ve been able to use their platform to help other women start their own businesses (hello Pursuing her Purpose with Kat)! You ladies are amazing, thank you!

-
FLnativeboymomSo tornI’ve been listening to HERself since the very first episode and for the most part I’ve enjoyed it. However, lately I just feel like I’m hearing the same message over and over and over again. Mental load, resentment, and challenges of gentle parenting. Maybe that is the goal, in which case, great! I’m just finding myself less interested because it feels like I’m not learning anything new. Also, sometimes I feel like it makes me look for problems in my marriage that actually aren’t there. Like, I’ll feel in a really good place with my husband (or “partner” as always said for some reason), and after listening I’ll find myself more critical or unhappy with him because there’s an undertone of “things aren’t fair for us women” that runs throughout most episodes. But hey, maybe I’m not the target audience and that’s fine! I’m sure many who already are feeling unseen benefit greatly from these messages. I personally would love to see some progression from the same topics and more growth.
