    Sharp commentary!
As I was hunting for podcasts reviewing WaT the new Sanderson book I stumbled upon you guys. I worried you would have a positive bias towards it because, well, it being bad might hurt the podcast. I do think I saw some of that in the discussion I heard about it, but was happy to have one person able to echo the critical thoughts of many. That tension and willingness to disagree alone makes me interested in listening more!

    refreshing
Cannot overstate how welcome it is to get reviews for actual books. The way algorithms punish creators for any slight dip in downloads or engagement means we almost always hear about the same 3-5 franchises. How these boys cover small author new releases the same way they cover house of the dragon seasons is so rare and so necessary!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE
I have been reading fantasy since I was a kid and didn’t really have anyone to talk to about the books and characters I’ve spent so much time with. This podcast feels like a conversation I’m having with friends about these books I love so much. I have read books that this podcast has recommended (most recently the First Law trilogy) and have absolutely loved them and I’ve looked forward to listening to fantology’s podcast about the book after reading. A couple of things I particularly love is their reference to other key fantasy series in their reviews like WOT and The Stormlight Archive; their analysis of characters/plot; their best of the worst segment. Thank you for making my reading experience so much more enjoyable!!

    My favorite podcasters
Tuned in for the rythym of war review. This is my favorite review out there. I’m a huge Sanderson fan, but not super into the lore and study of the cosmere. You all presented this just as if we were buddies. No punches pulled ,and if something wasn’t good or entertaining you called it out. Everyone else wrapped a ribbon on boring parts that were just not fun to read, and they called it amazing in-depth writing. Thank you for being real. I am now subscribed, hope you do more Sanderson reviews in the future!

    Fun, informative, fantasy books talk
One of the few fantasy talk podcasts out there not afraid to talk about things other than Sanderson or Rothfuss. Always informative, fun, and they never talk down to anyone struggling with a story. They've become a weekly listen for me along with Legendarium.

    Great Fantasy Book Pod
This podcast reviews a wide breadth of fantasy books in a and new episodes are released rather frequently. The hosts have fun personalities and real chemistry as they debate and examine the fantasy books we all love. I’ve listened to their reviews for the books that I have already read and found them helpful to fill in blanks I might have missed listening to the book. I’m going through The Wheel of Time for the first time and this podcast has been a great companion as I finish each book and prepare for the next.

    Thoughtful and informative
While I might not always agree with their opinions, the hosts approach their discussions and reviews with thought and insight that makes me want to listen and look at my own opinions on the books, movies, and tv shows I love (and in some cases hate). Definitely worth the listen for anyone who loves sci-fi and fantasy fiction!

    Episode 11
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I enjoy movies like the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, so it was quite interesting. The hosts have a great dynamic, seemed pretty knowledgeable, and kept me engaged throughout the episode.

Great Recourse for Fantasy Book Lovers
If you love magic, then this is the pod for you! The first episode was done really well. It covered Brent Weeks’ Lightbringer series and does so in a thoughtful and intriguing way. I especially appreciated the spoiler free review at the start of the pod as well as the content warning for the series. Hopefully there will be more to come!
