ListenToCleanJust listen to A Slob Comes CleanThe episode I listened to today was a complete rehash (complete with the phrase “clutter threshold”) of Dana K White. The woo-y ads are also a huge turnoff. Buying more stuff isn’t very minimalist. I’m sure the host is a fantastic person and nothing against her, but this clearly isn’t the podcast for me. I listened to several different episodes over the few months I’ve been subscribed, and found nothing new.

Moms Overcoming OverwhelmA Must-Listen for Busy Moms Who Want to Declutter and SimplifyI have had the pleasure getting to know Deanna as a guest on her amazing podcast, as well as a speaker in her Chaos to Calm Summit. Deanna combines her wealth of knowledge about the tactical side of decluttering and organizing with her heart for helping busy moms simplify and streamline so they can make time for what matters most. One of the things I love about the podcast is that Deanna wants you to take what you’ve learned and implement it - so she and her guests provide practical tips and guidance that you can fit into your busy life today! So grateful for Deanna’s passion for helping women reclaim their lives so they can fully step into their purpose. Sincerely, Emily

kapsRusToo many ads now:(Used to love this podcast.

RuthNathansPodcast is so helpful!Thank you so much for your podcast. It’s helping me question myself on why I’m holding onto things instead of just me feeling guilty for having to throw everything away. Decluttering helps relieve so much stress once you can do it on a regular basis. You’re a blessing!
-
AKahlSmithToo many advertisementsI used to love this podcast. The episodes were short, actionable, and to the point. However, the advertisements have gotten out of control. In a 30 minute episode there were at least three advertisement breaks that last over a minute each. I’m done.

Idaho Mom 2013Too many adsThere’s sooooooo many ads. Long time listener, but just can’t listen anymore.

ST716I’m the process of decluttering…I’m in the process of decluttering my entire home. This podcast has been so helpful. I have been wanting to do this for so long but couldn’t seem to get started or would start then stop midway & never finish. But once I started listening to this podcast, I started going through my house tacking every room, every closet, every cabinet, every drawer and the more I declutter, the better I’m feeling and the more I love my Home. My husband, who holds onto everything has started too - he decluttered his shed and is now in the process of doing the garage and then he’s going to do his home office after that. He woke up last Saturday and said “you have been inspiring me. I love the way the house has been looking, I’m going to start doing my areas too.” And by the end of the day, the shed was done. I was shocked. Thank you so much Deanna for this wonderful podcast, for all the tips and for the constant motivation which keeps me going! One small suggestion - slow down, I have to rewind often because you go so fast.
-
Yessica 201You make a difference - Thank you!!!!Thank you so much for all these helpful tips. It’s because of this podcast that I felt motivated to clean up and clean out. I’ve donated hundreds of things that no longer serve a purpose in my home. This has helped my mental health and overall mood. I like that you touch base on the emotional part of it and incorporate being a mom to the mix. I’m so grateful to have been introduced to this podcast and every time I’m cleaning I’m listening. 🙏🏼

MelrosenblumLove this!Loving this podcast! I really liked the episode with Alli Williams on spending without guilt, really helpful tips!
-
Frankie Baby ArtThank you!I don’t normally leave reviews on podcasts but I wanted to give a big thank you to Deanna for being so genuine and insightful. In her recent mind-shift episode, she opened up about having to Declutter items from an old business venture in order to make physical and mental room for new ideas and passions. This greatly resonated with me and gave me the boost I needed to clean out my old clothing reseller (Poshmark,) closet to make room for my watercolor business. This built the momentum and I was able to finish setting up my art studio. Even though it was a challenge saying goodbye to those items, I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can focus on what I’m truly passionate about. Thank you so much! Katie Hoover Frankie Baby Art

JleestroheckerSo easy!Deanna’s tips are so helpful and practical! I’m always tidying up, but have learned to do so with more intention and less guilt. I highly recommend subscribing! You’ll learn something every week!

tumor.toesA wonderful listen. As a ND mom of ND kids, routines are crucial for us. Summer was a disaster because we had so much time and no idea what to do with it. My boys just wanted to be on their devices all the time because they were bored. We feel so much better now that school is back in session. Even though I homeschool, just having that structure of “ok, we’re doing X at this time and Y at this time”… it helps so much. I‘ve even added my oldest son to my digital calendar so HE can see on his phone what comes next. It’s been a game changer. Thank you so much for this episode.
-
MakeupmAryVery easy to listen to!This was probably the first podcast I enjoy listening to. It was easy to listen to and always very positive.
-
swazzlehoff5-Min TipDeanna, I love your tip about taking 5 minutes each day to declutter, it’s genius! Honestly, I’ve found that even if the only advice you take from Deanna is to spend 5 minutes a days decluttering your house will pretty much stay clean 24/7. And that’s just one of the great tips you share, it’s all amazingly helpful, thank you and keep up the good work!
-
lovebeingdebtfreeGreat showI love the advice about not teaching children to second guess themselves! Awesome!

E628InspiringI have been listening to this podcast for quite some time. On walks or while my one year old sleeps on me. Then, whenever I actually get some time, I start decluttering. I have made progress, but mainly I feel like I am starting to shift my thought process from holding onto items because I paid for them to having a less cluttered house. As a mom of three and an attorney, I live a crazy busy life. This podcast has helped and I just wanted to say a big thanks!
-
KungFooButchInspiring!I love this shows positive tone and practical suggestions for decluttering.

kristinklchanDecluttering like a scavenger hunt!Episode 160 was the first episode(and won’t be the last) I’ve listened to of yours and it really helped me see the fun, “light” approach to decluttering, instead of the nagging, dreaded feeling of decluttering. I love the tips, especially making decluttering into a game-I can’t wait to try the avalanche approach with my family! It’ll be like our own scavenger hunt inside our house. Please keep these episodes coming. Thanks again.

friendsfan05So helpful!Very helpful and inspiring podcast. Deanna has a pleasant voice to listen to and comes across extremely personable. I enjoy listening weekly.

Daniee82Fantastic tips and information for anyone…But especially as a momma of 3 in a world of chaos! Deanna has a way of baby-stepping with you into helping to find peace among the overwhelm. There is such a wide variety of topics covered, it’s not just decluttering the rooms of your home. There’s ways to live more sustainable, mental health, sleep health, skin care and products, wardrobe, parenting… so many gold nuggets. And her voice is so calming. I could listen to her speak for hours, and I have!
-
LaRyssaJill1998I love this podcast!🥰 I love that it’s so relatable!☺️✨✨✨✨✨

Jul_In_NCKrista St Germain EpisodeThis episode was so interesting. Even though Krista was there to talk about dealing with sentimental clutter — she gave some great advice for ALL areas of life — let people have their opinions, they are theirs and live in their head, and that’s ok. You don’t have to take it on. Learning to not put self imposed deadlines and rules on my life has been so hard and for some reason her approach and explanations concerning these area really helped me!
-
MaiTaiWeiniSuch a helpful showGame changer, and life improved by listening to this show. I listen while I’m cleaning and it’s such motivation to keep going. I’m rocking a more minimal home that I can tidy and clean simply as opposed to spending my entire weekends organizing and cleaning. Thank you so much for making supportive content I relate to. You’re a great influence!
-
kevin89754Useful and informativeI love all the topics shared on this pod. Also the nonjudgmental approach from Deanna.

Torahanytime is my #1 appSo much perspective and joy!I enjoy this podcast so much! The practical minimalism as a mother and all the other related topics that are fascinating to learn about and help me be a better person. Thank you Deanna for this gift!

Grandmanurse2019Terrific!Topics are interesting and the author and guests give common sense advice.

Cee D BellOutstanding! As a longtime listener, I appreciate various directions Deanna veers into. Today I listened to ep. 147. Some great takeaways— notably how to better receive compliments by acknowledging what was said and reaffirming i. Deflecting or negating compliments is unkind to the person giving it, on top of being a sort of energetic slap in the face. And lastly, if in the rabbit hole of comparing oneself on social media and that gets you down, taking the more rational part of the brain into the curiosity direction by asking oneself, “how could I do that for myself” is helpful. Great info from Risa Williams. Also wanted to mention how incredible the Avalanche Challenge is. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a system for decluttering. From years ago, first listening to “Wannabe Minimalist Show” I wrote the following, which came up when I started writing this review, so I’m including it: I just started listening and love this podcast. I was looking for concrete tips, and Deanna delivered. In my quest to find a decluttering podcast today, I listened to three prior, and Wannabe Minimalist Show towers over everything else by miles. I’m so grateful!

From honest, self-reflective notes that we’re often only thinking about in the background - to the everyday parenting obstacles that challenge us to show up as our whole selves, Deanna’s conversations are critical threads that ground you and help you move forward. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

lololplo planLove this show! This podcast has helped to inspire and keep me on track to my journey to living a less cluttered and more stress-free life. Episode 121 let me know that even the those living this minimalist lifestyle a whole can still face set backs and it okay.
-
sross76Best minimalism podcast!I wanto say how much I’ve enjoyed listening to this podcast . It’s inspired me to be more thoughtful about my belongings and purchases. But it is a good balance between minimalism and realism.

Tamtam108This show can help you reach your decluttering goalI’ve been listening to multiple podcasts on Minimalism, and decided to settle on this one as part of my regular rotation. Deanna’s voice is calm and soothing and her information is very practical and useful. Her shows are not inundated with commercials and self-promotions. Highly recommend!

Spring fall summer winterVery helpful showI know this show is directed at moms, but as a college student this show has really helped me learn how I want to run my life as an adult. I feel lucky to have found it when I did and it has helped me build the skills to start adulthood in a happy, simple and productive way. Thanks!

KDKDKD3A favorite!I discovered this podcast a while back and listened to every episode. Deanna gives lots of great tips, has interesting guests and seems like such a sweet and kind person, there to offer support and cheer, not judgment! My house has some clutter, not loads, but I enjoy listening to the podcast especially while I’m cleaning. I find it very motivating. And the Wannabe Minimalist Facebook group is great, too! I hope there will be another challenge again soon because I found it to be so much fun and I got so much accomplished!

ashleylouise*Motivating! My husband and I (and our five kids) all have ADHD and really struggle with clutter and overwhelm. We have been married for 18 years and have way too much stuff. Recently I have been trying really hard to minimize the amount of stuff in our home. I just found your podcast yesterday and binged a bunch of episodes while filling 5 bags to donate and one of trash. Thank you for the motivating pep talks! I especially loved the episodes about how to de-clutter a closet and how to organize your clothing and what to keep and what not to and also the episode about paper clutter.
-
SammiRylerSelf diagnosed hoarderI lost everything to a house fire when I was a fresh man in high school. When I became an adult and had adult money, I blew through every pay check buying clothes and “ things” . It’s been 10 years on that path and it’s time for a change. You are helping me out by not getting stressed and not feeling like I’m a disappointment. Thank you

HandfulOfFortunesFate. The only reason that comes to mind when I think about why I began listening to this podcast would be “fate”. It truly came into my life when I needed it most. I am a mom of six children, my husband works long hours and I also have just started up my own business from home. I am always walking around with an infant on my back, toddler on my hip, preschooler tugging at my shirt, two elementary school girls arguing and a teenager trying to tell me how I can be a better mom. I was run down. I *love* this podcast. I listen to it in my kitchen while I get chores done, my car while I chauffeur kids to activities and in the shower at night when I need to unwind and wash the sweat off! I love that we share the same views and values, I love all of the wonderful tips she’s given - I just cannot get enough!
-
EmPotter93In 2 words: Life ChangingLove this pod! Actual advice and tips on how to create a more peaceful, relaxing home/life, a place to retreat from the busy world. Practical yet revolutionary!

AngOmomGreat podcastThis is one of my favorite podcasts. When I first discovered it, I binged most of the episodes. She has a great perspective on life, trying to be more minimal but allowing for life to get in the way. I listen to this one while I drive for work and clean the house. She has a comforting voice.
