    Quality
Does Tannon even like doing the podcast? I feel like in every episode he is always in a rush to finish the episode because he always “has something going on”. Why not just find someone who is passionate and has time to talk about the game?

    Narcissistic and self-indulgent
nobody cares about the Atlanta Braves or Utah Jazz. this podcast seems to want basically zero listeners or the hosts think every listener owes them such an insane degree of parasocial attachment to sit through their self-absorbed rambling. just talk about Magic you weirdos.

    My heart breaks
But I don’t want to cry at work listening to your family woes when I have my own.

    Unexpected
I’m not quite sure how the community accepts Ross given his pro Ukrainian genocide views, but if you’re looking for the latest in Russian disinformation check out his Twitter.

    More like MLB rants
Not every magic player wants to hear 30 min of mlb talk

    Good Stuff
MTG is great, these boys are wonderful, and their rants are excellent.

    Awesome possum
Great podcast, great takes, great tangents. Only qualm is I wish they had a consistent release schedule.

    Great guys and info
Be prepared for not-magic related banter. Two well accomplished magic players taking back and forth about all magic things with a focus on pioneer. Also talking a lot about food and sports and pets and random crap. It’s a great listen if you can handle, or better-yet, enjoy the random banter.

Banter is ok if there is a time-stamp to magic talk...
I respect that the banter is key to the enjoyment of making the cast, but please include a time stamp. I want to listen to this podcast, but doing so can waste significant time trying to find where the content actually begins. The content itself is awesome when you can actually get to it. Some podcasts edit the opening banter out and add it to the end of the cast as an after-show where the off topic conversations happen. Might be a really good option here.

Good info when on the topic of pioneer.
Small talk and banter is fine if it’s 20% of the episode but sometimes it feels like 80% is just random banter 😓 I don’t sub for random conversation that’s boring and feels like an ear beating. I’m here for your insights in MTG and Pioneer. Great podcast otherwise. If you guys go into depth of the Pioneer meta and had an outline for the show it would be the perfect podcast for Pioneer players.

    Great Personalities
Love these guys off topic is great, and hilarious adds lots of value!

    MORE TANGENTS
I completely disagree with everyone else, we don’t need to talk about Pioneer at all. I listen to this podcast to be entertained and I’m getting info on Pioneer format as a side. MORE BANTER, MORE TANGENTS, MORE PUPPER TANNON.

    Would be good
If the hosts wrote and stuck to a focused outline. As of right now it’s an unfocused podcast about the hosts interests (which includes MTG), not a Pioneer resource for listeners. Suggestion: if you want to keep the sports / organized play war story banter, provide 00:00 format time codes letting listeners know where they can skip to to get relevant insight.

Content is great if you like to skip ahead
It wants to be a podcast about the MTG format Pioneer, but its more of a sports podcast.

    Good stuff
A good mix of relevant content and nonsense. This is Magic’s premiere pioneer-focused podcast

Great, when they get around to MTG talk
Started listening recently based on the new Pioneer format. The cast is pretty good besides the excruciatingly long time they talk on tangents at the beginning of the cast about sportsball or some other random nonsense. I don’t mind some off topic banter or stories, but with several episodes I can get through my 30 minute commute before the MTG topics. I may keep listening, but will need the FFW button at hand.

    Mostly magic
Magic talk is good... Wish they’d say when the content started so I could skip ahead. 30% of the podcast is about football or how they’re tired

Tannon... stop saying so many likes and you knows

    Just what I needed!
I listen to a ridiculous amount of MTG content. This podcast is the next level! If you want to dive deep into the Pioneer format with experts, this is for you. It’s an entertaining interaction between two friends as they critically explore the meta. I’ve made decisions to adjust decks based on comments these guys have made that have improved my gameplay. I hope they keep going. A+! 5stars! Thanks for making this!

    Focus on the Content
I’m a big fan of both of you, but please limit the personal “weekend talk” and random jibber-jabber. I’m assuming I’m not the only one who came here for pioneer discussion and content, and waiting 15 minutes to hear it at the start of each episode draws me away from continuing to listen. The actual content is great and informative, I would just keep it focused to the content, with little sprinkles of your personal life. Thanks to you both!
