Mimi Jackson356A beautifully organized selection of people who sewThere are many nooks and crannies in the sewing world, and endless avenues and passageways to explore. The uniqueness of āsewnā items breathes life into the things we make, and can open up beautiful conversations. I had the great pleasure of being interviewed on this podcast, and had as much fun talking, as I do listening. . What peaceful, beautiful episodes will I discover next?

haystack14Class is in session, Feb 17, 2021FYI regarding comment about using tweezer instead of hemostat. As a retired RN, and a 50- year sewist, I was exciting about using a hemostat, also called a Kelly, as a sewing notion. It is a device that looks like a small scissors. Instead of blades they have teeth that lock to grip. A twizzer does not lock, so would not be as useful in this application. They have different uses. In fishing a hemostat works to remove hooks from a fish mouths if the teeth are long enough. The episode was 5 star, I rated as 4 since it seemed you did not seem to understand the Kelly. I have added this tool to my sewing room thanks to your program. It will work well to hold fabric together, especially in a corner, when pins are not enough hold or the layers are too thick. Thanks for your podcast!ā

jacostA deep dive into so many voices! If you love the sewing communtiy of Instagram, this podcast adds a deeper dimension to learning about all the amazing sewists out there. Instagram, while amazing, can be a fast paced glimpse into someone's work, so spending time listening to one person speak about their work is really refreshing! I have learned things, gotten ideas and inspiration, and felt fresh feelings of awe about the talented, thoughtful people in the world from every episode. Thank you Maria for all the work you do giving sewists a platform to share and learn from one another!

Vladimir6Like the varietyGreat podcast if youāre an enthusiast wanting to expand your knowledge level through different styles. They have on other sewing gurus and some do things way different and itās just crazy what a big community it is. When inflation is going up itās wonderful to be able to tap into skills that are hard to find and so real life useful.

SewmauloPretty goodItās not my favorite sewing podcast, but I like it because the hosts ask really great questions, have really relaxing voices, and no one has any annoying habits. What I donāt like is the sound quality and the fact that rarely, if ever, do the episodes have any sort of theme. Regardless of this, itās still entertaining to listen and I get really relaxed when Iām listening.

Elle Zee379Sound quality is terribleI wish I could give this a higher rating, because Iām very interested in the topic, but the sound quality is often so poor that I will just skip an episode. I hope they read thus and make some upgrades to the sound.
