Best Practical Fun and Savy Financial Podcast by Women
This is the best financial podcast ever! First of all it’s fun and feels like you are having coffee with your friends talking about all things financial. It’s savvy—both financially but also psychologically. Erin and the ESK team really understand what it takes to build new money habits and change our psychology and therefore behaviors around money. And the tone is compassionate, unassuming and kind while being inspiring and motivating. This has been such a great support on my financial journey! The steps they encourage for getting out of debt the wealth building are accessible and easy to follow Thank you Kerri and Erin!

    It’s a NO for me
I really wanted to like this podcast. Some episodes are good, but there was one episode where one of the girls apologized for making fun of someone’s teeth in a previous episode, but then continued to joke about it??? I ended the episode immediately and haven’t been back.

Not only is it educational and has totally shifted my mindset and behavior around money, Erin and Keri are also the hilarious and they are the kindest people. I feel like they’re my BFFs (thought I never met them 😂). Best of them all
This has been my #1 podcast for a long time now. I love the mix of learning great money habits, becoming financially literate, the humor and authenticity. It’s been refreshing to listen to something I can use to improve quality of my life, while having fun doing it. Erin is an incredible mentor, and her advice and support are so valuable. It’s not just the money-talks Erin and Kerri bring to the table, but also wisdom and a seriously good laugh!

Perfect mix of education, humour and sass!
I have learned more from this podcast in the last 2 years than I have in my entire 46 years of life. Erin and Keri, you both make learning about money so fun and exciting. Who knew we could laugh while doing our budget and net worth spreadsheet. Thank you for serving us all at such a high level and changing the way we approach money. It’s so refreshing!

Love the money advice and witty banter
I love learning and being entertained at the same time listening to this podcast! The money and saving tips are great, but the friendship banter and real-talk stories keep me coming back! Thanks for making talking about money less scary and more fun!

    Music teacher appreciating your appreciation
I'm a private music teacher (former public school teacher) and everything you said about piano teachers and your experience really hit home and made me feel so proud to do what I do. I've also been able to build a wonderful community of learners and people who appreciate music and music education as well as earn an income to meet our financial goals. Thank you!

Why do the episodes cut off???
I like this podcast but I’m so confused as to why the episodes seem to end halfway through the episode. Am I missing something? I’ve listened to several episodes and right when it starts getting to the point, the episodes will just end and the next episode will start. I’ve gone back through episodes to make sure I’m not crazy and looked for a link for the rest of the episode but can’t figure it out! Are you supposed to sign up for her program to hear the rest? I wish the podcast was more straightforward and clear about where to listen to the episodes in their entirety.

    Nada - cero !
Hi ladies , I really want to say thank you for your advice and support ☺️ I’m immigrant I’ve been here for 8 years, and I was totally financially illiterate at the point that I was drowned on debt 58k to be precise. When I got here my folks advised me “you have to get in debt if you want to have a better life here, you are going to have all creditors giving you money” WELL I have to say that I was so unhappy, anxious and desperate that is NOT a better life then made the best decision to get out of debt and looking for help so I found you girls. Thank you 🙏🏼

I have been listening to this podcast since 2020! Started the GTHD program in January 2024, it hasn’t been the easiest journey but I am getting somewhere! “Credit Card Mistakes” is my current favorite episode! I have listened to it probably every day this week & this morning I woke up & paid two of them off!

    Best financial advice podcast ever
I wasn’t taught anything about money growing up. I just knew we were poor and my family struggled to pay the bare necessities. Somehow I have found myself in credit card debt and this podcast and program gives me hope. Thank you for your content and giving me a way out. I love all the advice. Keep it coming!

    Makes my entire day!
Morning commute to get my kids to school is 1.5-2 hours just one way then home - I can’t express how much joy it brings me to see a new session available. I listen to them all - even if it doesn’t seem as if it would relate because I can pull from them what’s needed and enjoy the rest! I have never been so hooked on a podcast & now I got my friend Noe hooked on it as well! I finally started diving into the book ♥️thank you for creating this safe space for us all!

    Thank you
I stumbled across this podcast because I’m in a bad place financially. The title was catchy and exactly what I needed. I started listening and haven’t stopped. I’m also reading the book right now. For the first time trying to come face to face with my mess, I actually feel hope. And that has made such a difference. Thank you for being so down to earth and honest. We need more of that. I’m about a month into listening regularly and reading the book. I have a lot of work to do to say the least but thank you for your support. I did just come to realize (maybe I’m a bit slow) that this is geared generally towards women. Well I’m a guy, and I still love it. I’m also a licensed marriage family therapist and have to applaud you on your therapy skills. Your insight into what motivates people, the role emotions play, and how you present it are so powerful. I’ve even borrowed some of your insight to share with my clients. This is so much more than just finances. Thank you for what you do and for giving me hope. I need it for my journey!

    Obsessed with this podcast!
This is my absolute favorite podcast! Erin and Keri provide so many tangible tips and resources along with a ton of laughs. I never expected a podcast about financial literacy to be one of my faves but here I am!

Helps you address the root cause of debt and poor financial management!
I started following about 10 financial podcasts as I became motivated to change my financial situation. After listening to quite a few and giving them all a chance, this is by far the best one out there, and the only one I continue to listen to. I feel like it gives you real advice for getting out of debt, and also helps you address the root cause for why people get into debt in the first place, which is so important. I Would highly recommend to anyone trying to get out of debt or improve their wealth.
  • Snooz28
This is a must to share with friends and family.
I have only been listening for a few mont but this podcast has been a life changer. I am always ready for the next episode. The podcast books and course make taking on your money goals a realistic goal that is less overwhelming. I highly recommend.

Sensible advice along with some laughs
I stumbled across this podcast while looking for finance material to listen during road trips. I feel like Erin & Keri are my best friends too! I can completely relate to the silly things they talk about. Erin’s financial advise has helped me take my finances to the next level! Thank YOU!!

The value of lessons and enjoyment of pure friendship
I have changed in so many ways to a better version of me with this podcast, the book, the email newsletter, the course.

The episode with Laura Milne ruined it
I listen to the podcast often and generally like it but the episode with Laura Milne was a complete turn off. The episode sounded like a couple of see you next Tuesdays catching up instead of any useful tips. Where is the useful information? These episodes have turned into people just chatting with zero value. No one wants to hear you talk just for the sake of talking.
  • Bmoore3785
    Love this podcast
I know how to budget. I’m m good with numbers. I struggle with the process and the mindset and this podcast helped me understand how to build the relationship with my money. I’m in phase one but I look forward to learning what to do to build wealth in phase 3. I’ve never been there but I know I will be.

Best podcast for getting out of debt!
This podcast has taught me so much. What I love is non judgmental vibe. The banter between Erin and Keri is the best! I look forward to the latest episodes and when they are on a break I do a deep dive into past episodes. It never disappoints. Thank you for this podcast.
  • Thankfully listening!
    My go to podcast
These two are the best thing that has stumbled into my life. I was feeling so lost and this podcast just popped up one day and I started listening. I’m in phase one of the program. I couldn’t be more thankful for Erin and all the knowledge that she shares. Sometimes it’s to the point and very honest but let’s be real, if we were that honest with ourselves, we wouldn’t be in this mess right! I can’t stop listening, even if I have heard it a thousand times, it just gives me hope!

    Funny, friendly, encouraging, and ad-free
I love this podcast. I’ve listened to all the episode at least once over the past year. Erin is so encouraging and wicked funny. Usually I hate when podcasts have a personal catch up at the beginning ‘cause it can be boring to listen to but I actually look forward to Erin and Keri jamming on whatever. I love that there are no ads, so many podcasts I have to fast forward the first 5-15 minutes to get past the ads. My fave episodes have been the messy middle ones where people are in the thick of their debt journey and the raw doggers. I read some of the other reviews and I’m kind of shocked at the hate. The program being “shilled” is $99 true but you can pay what you want and there are constantly opportunities to get sponsored in for free. People love the program so much that when they are out of debt they pay for others to join. I plan to do this myself. Highly recommend signing up if you are in debt as the Facebook community is the kindest and most encouraging group I have ever joined. People in there are cheering each other on every day and sharing their wisdom.

    Positivity with financial advice
I love how fun and positive this podcast is! The financial wisdom is delivered in such a fun positive manner it is inspiring! I have tried other financial podcasts but they are not nearly as positive or fun and it’s a major turn off! I enjoy listening to this podcast for both the inspiring financial advice as well as the humor and real life stories!

    Absolutely life changing!
I stumbled across this podcast about a year ago and can confidently say listening has completely changed my life. I’m on a path to financial freedom, I’ve increased my net worth significantly, I’ve been inspired to find a new job and side jobs that not only increased my income by 33%, but add value and happiness to my life. Thanks to the lessons I’ve learned from Erin and Keri, I’ve also been inspired to take leaps of faith and live outside my comfort zone in ways I never would have pictured a year ago! Plus, they’re just really funny :)

    Funny! And I learn stuff
Love this podcast and Erin’s approach to making money talk funny! I’ve learned so much and feel super motivated to pay off my debt now that I have some tools from her books and this podcast. Recommend!!!

    Great content <3
The podcasts don’t shield any content that the course lays out, so you can follow Erin’s system just by listening here (though it’s a bit out of order that way). Or you can get the course for $0 by getting sponsored in by a graduate. I started listening to the podcast a couple months ago, joined the program for free at the start of the year. My net worth has increased by 16% already. It’s nothing magical — you still have to do all the work to break your old habits, shift your mindset, increase your financial literacy, scrimp & save, and annihilate debts one at a time. Erin is legit, genuine, hilarious, and really cares about this community. I enjoy learning from her. Thank you for keeping the podcast ad-free.

    Best podcast ever
You two ladies are the best I have recently discovered this podcast about two months ago and ordered the naked money meetings book which is Great. Keep up the amazing work and wisdom with compassion

Do you want to be excited about paying off debt?? Then read this book!
I love this book! I’m reading it for a second time. It really gives me the motivation and the tools to pay off my debt. I love that she talks about money mindset, money muscles, money blocks instead of just giving you a math problem to pay off your debt. I want to know why I spend the way I do! Why I have the money stories that I do! That helps me to take a deeper look and take steps to heal my money wounds and change my money patterns. I freaking love it! I can’t say enough good about the book and the podcast. Can’t wait for the new book!
  • ice-queenOCF
Yes…the podcast highlights the course and book…
The negative reviews here are frustrating to read. If Erin’s passion work is helping people get out of debt (which I think it is), then she is committed to doing that. She hosts a class, she has written some books, she does this podcast. Those are all pieces of the puzzles solution. When you learned to drive a car, did you get mad at the drivers manual, bc reading it is only part of what you need to do to learn how to drive? Or did you read the manual, get behind the wheel with a trusted teacher AND practice? When you learned to read, did you get mad at the phonics workbooks bc it’s only part of what you need to do to learn? Or did you do the phonics workbooks, and memorize sight words, AND work with a trusted teacher to practice? This is one piece of the work that needs to be done to LEARN to get out of debt. It’s not a tips podcast that you listen to and then suddenly you have no debt. That’s not going to work anyway. And also, in my experience, Erin is one of the LEAST “grifty” folks out there trying to teach anything. Thanks Erin for this work you are doing. It’s super important and extremely valuable.

    Season 7 ep 6
This was the first time listening to the pod cast I chose this episode as the first but regret it all the way such a prejudice outlook on men shows in conversation sorry but a man saying he is not looking to raise another family does not mean he is just looking for a rump buddy I don’t even know what that has to with debt but 5 trash cans 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️
  • Krs10Delaney
    One long extended commercial
Bummed to find out this is just shilling for her program that costs $99.
  • Mrsmrfab
    Infomercial disguised as a podcast
This content is simply interviewing people who have successfully gone through the “program”. I want advice and strategies but I have to pay for the program to get that. I’ve listened to quite a few episodes and they are all variations on a theme: I did the program and I paid off my debt! Yay! This would be fine if the host was honest but I guess she figures you will hear these success stories and buy the book or whatever it is. Take a good look at the other reviews - the majority are working the program, so of course they’ll give a good review. The few that don’t say they are working the program refer to the host as ESK … mmmm … I think these are friends (but that’s just my opinion). Plus, she only has 52 (ok, 53 now) reviews - that means a lot of people feel like I do, but they moved on w/o giving a review. If you’re looking for strategies and advice, do not listen to this. There are plenty of other REAL podcasts out there that actually help you and give you tips and real world examples. They are happy to make their money by subscriptions or donations to their podcasts and do not have another agenda.

Life Changing Information (With a Side of Sass and Love)
I was introduced to Erin Skye Kelly (ESK, as I lovingly refer to her) by my bestie who has been part of the GTHOOD family for a few months. I immediately downloaded the podcast and joined the program. I followed Dave Ramsey’s program for a number of years and ESK is more my style. Why? She’s funny and she provides the hard core truth in a loving and kind way. I have a significant health challenge and let me say, it’s much nicer to listen to ESK who promotes kindness and grace. Dave told his truth, but it was not in the loving, graceful way that I need. It sounds weird, I know, but that’s my truth. If you have ever wanted to learn about getting out of debt or building wealth, I recommend giving ESK’s podcast a listen. You won’t be sorry!
